[FIXED] How do I change the screen resolution out of game? Accidentally clicked the wrong resolution and now my resolution is too big to press any buttons and revert back to a playable resolution. Fixed by going to LocalDisc(C):>Users>Username>AppData>Local>TheIsle>Saved>Config>Windows client and changing the resolution manually in the files

This happened on Official NA #3. On the main branch, I grew a utah to adulthood and safe logged. I came back and it was gone. I grew a smaller utah and safe logged again and the same thing happened. Why aren't my dinos saving?

Try to verify files on game, this common issue with Easy-AntiCheat: Steam, Library, Right click on game, properties, local files, then click on verify files

Anyone have any idea why the qa branch would be causing so much strain on my pc lately? Used to run it with my CPU temps being around 65-75°C, not commonly reaching 80°C, but now it’s running at an average of 75-85°C! Sometimes even reaching 90°C! I’ve changed nothing with my PC recently. I can run Ark at 4k with EPIC settings and while my frames will drop my temps will NEVER get that high, averaging at 68°C. But with the isle even at 1080p on medium settings my CPU temps will surpass 85°C. I didn’t expect the isle to be that demanding of a game, especially given how well I used to run it. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Things to test/tinker with? Potential fixes?

Hi! I'm troubleshooting fixing my controls, if I delete The Isle save folder in my computer (under %appdata%) will I lose my dino's in the places I play? Or is that unrelated? (I'm not very good with tech or things, I'd assume that data is stored with the servers you play on but I want to make sure.)

So, i did one stupid thing and teleported out of the map. the game froze after going at a certain distance almost at the end of the ocean box. now i'm stuck on this screen and its been like this for 2 days, i've tryed everything, i tryed to go in free camera, usining the admin warp, teleporting to places in enviroment(?), teleporting to others, wipe the server and deleting my save data, restarted the server, trying to kick me/ban/slay me, uninstalled the game and reinstalled back after deleting EVERY single TheIsle-folder in my pc. im out of ideas, im just stuck here and nothing works, anyone got a solution?

Oh I did that big picture mode and set my controls for when I am a ground dino but I am struggling to do controls for a pteranodon like switch from ground controls and flying if you set it up that way

Your GPU should have a high utilisation when running a game, which it does, so that's fine

It would be more of a concern if it was your CPU that was hitting those % when running The Isle

for those who have problems with EAC on evrima try this: 1) download the isle legacy. 2) go to D: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common (or any other installation path of your steam games) and copy the LEGACY folder of the games in the same folder by calling "The Isle" ( copy). 3) re download evrima.
normally evrima works after that.

do not ask me why I could not answer you but obviously something is missing (for some people) in the installation of evrima and which is not detected by steam either. this solution worked for me so i am sharing it. if it still doesn't work don't hesitate to mp your problem I'll try to help! kiss

I think it is about easy anti cheat because when I try to launch its setup nothing happens, but when I try another game's easy a.c. setup it works and opens setup with options such as repair uninstall etc.

I have a 3060 Nvvidia RTX, but when I enabled DLSS I get this insane ghosting whenever anything moves. It's frustrating because my game does look and perform better with the DLSS, but the ghosting is too much. Anyone know a fix or if I am doing something wrong?

I have been experimenting and running the game on DLSS 2.3.4 by upgrading manually the .dll file and have seen a** significant improvement in term of render quality** and modest but noticable performance gain compared to the current implementation of DLSS that is on the current QA build.

The current version of DLSS running has horrendous ghosting even on the ultra quality setting. Ghosting on 2.3.4 is greatly reduced if not noticable at all in most gameplay that I have experienced with it so far. I would suggest to upgrade DLSS to 2.3.4 before Update 4.0 hits.

I've had the exact same problem after I got a new pc and haven't been able to fix it. You could try to uninstall the isle and go to your appdata folder and delete the isles folder completely. This is supposed to fix the issue but hasn't worked for me but meaby it will for your firends. Also you can try browsing the isles local files trough steam and run easy anti-cheat.exe manually there. If these don't work try disabling any third party threat protection.

If you done some of that already then don't bother. But be careful you didn't JUST uninstall from steam. Uninstalling from steam isn't enough.

Problem after updating! Haven't played EVRIMA for a long time. I saw that there was an update and immediately ran the test. The game started, but did not see any servers. Moreover, I found that there is no server search filter, although it was added a long time ago. Exit the game to check the integrity of the files - EVERYTHING is ok. Trying again .... The game won't start "Easy Anti Cheat is not installed". How ? 3 minutes ago, the anti-cheat was up and running, but now it is not? It was not possible to reinstall it from the root folder of the game, deleted it manually and enabled the verification of game files. The plan worked and the anti-cheat was installed. Launching the game ....

yo, my mouse keeps moving to the other screen when i look too far a certain way, ive tried making the screen windowed and alt-tabbing but its not helped. every time i bite and my mouse is off screen it just tabs me out. can anyone help?

I dont know if anyone else had this problem, but since the update before this one evrima's performance for my computer just absolutely tanked, and no amount of tinkering with the settings has helped me. Beforehand I was able to play it on the stock cinematic/high settings without a hitch but now it wont even load into the game without freezing. I've re-installed, and verified the game cache so far but nothings worked

Guys, I have had the same problem for ages now, Krow the stuff u said to do isn't working whenever i load my the isle envrima it goes to a blank screen and I'm unable to close it, idk what to do and I don't know if it has something to do with easy anticheat anyone know what to do???

I no longer have this problem as i unstalled steam and it fixed it but now i cant start envirma at all it just starts the isle antcheat icon when i press run and then its just stop running without a crash report or anything

I've been having this bug for awhile thought it would go away, my graphics are fully updated. I have RX TI 7800, and Idk why but I keep getting these shadow lines that start flickering all over the map.

All settings are at Epic, I've tried validating and etc.
This bug has been going on forever for me, I thought when they came out with AI it would go away.

So i'm having major lag issues, I didn't have them in the update three. Getting around 10-12 fps normally when i'm in unpopulated or slightly populated areas, 5-8 when i'm in populated areas. what can I do to fix this?

What's the matter with dinos dying after not safe logging? Happened to my friend twice when he tried fixing his sit / game. First to his Pachy and then to his Carno??

He was like a 50% Carno, his sit didn't work so he tried relogging into the server and he returned to a dead one. No one killed it we were sitting right beside him.

Yea the keybindings menu has had a problem with certain options not properly appearing. Generally I'd recommend deleting that folder, but you already have so I'm not sure what else can be done

If you haven't already, try enabling the "Hide empty" option and refresh. If that doesn't work, you should try to adjust your maximum pings/minute setting in steam
