Unfortunately Evrima is unstable atm and doesn't really work well with Geforce Now. This is a known issue and was confirmed online by Geforce saying that most opt in betas do not work very well or at all with Opt in betas, like Evrima. I'd say wait until there's more framework support for Evrima, wait until Evrima is finished. Then you will likely see Geforce Now support for it.

Found a bug where pteranodon doesn’t eat bodies and drink them instead? It shows water drinking animation when pressing E on a dead body and no hunger is gained back. Witnessed by multiple people at once so it’s not client side.

I just came here to ask for advice bcos I’m having the exact same problem! Evrima was working fine for me through geforce now and then a couple of days ago it just stopped working, it kicks me out of the game as soon as it starts running saying “the game stopped due to a spotty connection” but my internet is totally fine, and legacy still works

It isn't proven that Nvidia purposely did this & it isn't sure as of yet, however I thought of it as a theory & explained it in the vid. I figured I should make this video get to their services, have them notice it - & fix the problem.

Just now I managed to come to the blackscreen (the screen you see right before launching up the blue evrima intro), so there's a few loopholes here.

Also - 2 days ago, while everyone was having the problem - I attempted to launch it a few times, failed - but eventually succeeded.. I managed to get into a playsession on evrima?

I've tried doing this now.
I've reset my Steam download cache, checked that I had Windows 10 (and updated the gpu/drivers, which say everything is up to date) and still not working for the second time I've redone this. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong or if it's just the computer I'm using

This issue is quite large.
If you've tried all these, then it's an issue you can't fix until Update 4.

For Ptero - if you press up at the same time with space bar you lose the ability to fly, period. Ive had thia happen several times, I had to quick log to fix.
Also with the deino - I randomly lose the ability to eat and drink and I have to long log to fix the issue.

ESC > Settings > set your keys for your controls. Alt+Tab to stay in game and be able to control other windows.

If you're having trouble with key binds, exit game, delete TheIsle folder here: C:\Users\info\AppData\Local\TheIsle, restart game and set keybinds, ESC>Settings

You might have to do that each time you swap between legacy and evrima too. I also recommend doing this after each game update be it minor or major.

Tab isn't bound by default, the usual fix for keybind issues is to delete the game folder in appdata/local (I believe the full steps are pinned)

The TAB feature (from Legacy) isn't currently a system in the game.
However, I recommend you using the TheIsle folder delete troubleshoot

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located. No adverse effects will take place by deleting this folder, it will reset your keybinds to the correct keys.

Yes, lots of people are reporting the same error sadly. Not many people have thousands or hundreds of money to throw on the best PC out there, which seems that is what Evrima is demanding for some people. I was playing Evrima perfectly fine not even a week ago. Then it just randomly stopped. Tried everything from defrags to updates, to cleaning my entire pc which took hours. Still nothing. Means i have to update my GPU and in my PC that is impossible. I do hope they will fix this in a upcoming update.

With pictures and added information, I described to them that there are two or two servers that players can connect to. I don’t think they even knew if Evrima existed or was in beta and therefore I had a much harder time. I guess they don’t sit at work time playing it... xD

I have a graphical issue that I'm hoping someone knows the solution to. It's been hidden by AA, but with that off (as it was causing a weird ghosting effect) it's kinda obvious.

Everything has a... Grid overlay to it, like a flyscreen has been layed against the screen. It isn't strong, but it's very noticeable against flat textured things like rocks

That's just Evrima. That's not because of your set up, however if you upgrade your GPU it will probably be sitting around 60-80 fps consistantly instead of dipping low.

Evrima isn't a finished game so it has optimization issues and is bound to run poorly sometimes.

I am trying to stream the isle using streamlabs OBS but the stream seems to skip frames constantly. Im not sure if this is an issue regarding storage or graphics but i would like some help on the matter as i would really like to stream the game

in steam in settings make sure server ping is 5000, youll see the most further away servers, this method fixed it for me when i couldnt find them

When you are encountering issues with the escape menu and/or inability to properly use keybinds/controls, try this:

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located. No adverse effects will take place by deleting this folder, it will reset your keybinds to the correct keys.

anyone have issues with the game just freezing? Not the same as fatal errors, but it literally just freezes. will have no lag, running smoothly then frozen. only way to fix is restart computer.

Should I keep trying or does the Isle officially no longer work on W7x64?

Close your game completely then Press (Windows key + R) type in (%appdata%) press enter, go to (Local) open the folder look for the folder (The Isle) delete it. Go to steam and verify integrity files for The Isle. Please wait for it to finish, Then restart your computer. Once rebooted, start the game up.

So, my game still has some kind of steam workshop content being recognized as needing an update, but obviously can not do so, and just forever sits in my steam Downloads, can't remove it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling The Isle, makes no difference, it just comes back. Anyone know how I can fix this?
