i would try an unofficial to start with. depending on your region, i recommend mettas den, triassic survival or even petit pieds. these servers do have rules, and their own discords which you can join. the official servers are having issues with deleting saves (which the devs are looking into) so maybe not the best beginner experience at the moment.

3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

I asked the same thing in February and some guy said he has the same parts as I do or at least AMD parts and has the same issue. It is a form of incompatibility between the engine the the GPU.

UE5 does not like unstable PCs due to it being unstable itself.

it's a high end PC so it's extremely unstable

there's 2 ways of fixing it, might need 1 but also might need both of the fixes to work

first fix is get msi afterburner and underclock/undervolt your GPU so it becomes weaker

-50 at first, then double it everytime you crash. -100/ -200/ -400mhz

second fix is going to your motherboard BIOs and disable PBO (precision boost overdrive)

it comes enabled by default, and it's pretty unstable.

this an extremely delicated issue. but the main answer is that: ”the game does not like an unstable system”. I can give more details, but the fix usually is to undervolt your gpu

Yeah so for some reason your game is not ”legit” enough to communicate with the servers. Do you have any DNS settings in place?
also try to make the anti cheat system run as admin. you can find that exe in here:SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Isle\EasyAntiCheat

and for good measure, you can also verify steam integrity files for the game

Ok, what the heck is going on? I'm about to delete this game completely and I'm typically low maintenance for game issues, rather laid back person for most things in life. I had a Deinosuchas at 76% on Official US 8. It has been deleted and I safe logged yesterday around 4pm. This is the second time a Dino has been deleted on me and it's incredibly disheartening with how much time they take to grow. I don't want to pour hours of my life into a game, just for the progress to be ripped away from me over something I didn't do. It's not like I got killed or something, my dino is just erased out of no where. So can you at the very least (if you wont respawn him) tell me what is going on? I am a huge fan of the game, but I'm not going to play if you guys keep taking my hard work away. Especially with how viscious the croc community is in cannibalizing their own, this is one of the hardest dinos to grow and is incredibly unfair. I'm sorry if this sounds agressive, but seriously, why has this now happened to me twice in one month?

I even was gonna get prime status cus I hit all the requirements nutrition wise (also hard for croc). I tend to avoid unofficial because there's so many flipping rules in those communities. 4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

So reinstalled the Isle after a long time not playing.. Had the Anticheat error as first.. Fixed that easy enough. just went into my files and clicked install Anticheat program.. Now I am getting UE Crash Reporter. This is happening upon launching the game.

Yea I was searching but I don't think there's actually a determined minimum requirements, it's just whatever the playerbase can estimate with its collective knowledge, for Evrima.

For an absolute minimum "I can launch the game" you need a dedicated GPU that can run dx12 at Feature Level 12_1 or higher. A GTX 1050 will be able to run the game, but it'll have very poor performance

Anytime I try to launch the game, I get a shipping error. I've tried reinstalling the game, running the program from steam/my desktop/the .exe file, restarting my computer, validating files independently of a reinstall, checked for driver updates. I haven't changed any system settings since the last time it worked, which was a couple weeks ago.

Sometimes steam is a little dumb, try deleting your config folder then verifying files a couple times. Worked for me when I get the shipping.exe error once in a blue moon

Also make sure your windows and drivers are up to date

Every time I fix an issue, a new one comes by, and this is getting really odd since the game used to run without any of these issues. Now, when I launch the game, it says it is already running. There is no process running in my task manager matching 'The Isle' or any other typical program names used by the unreal engine. I've restarted my computer twice.

I'm getting this, and none of the pinned fixes for the game being detected as running are fixing it. Are there any more known fixes? To be clear, so far I've tried closing any related processes with task manager, and restarting my computer, as well as clearing temp files, to see if there was anything that failed to close/delete.

So is there on way anyone can help me? Anything pertaining grabbing nest and feeding the babies, I can't do it. No animation. It shows the text box "press g to grab"/ " hold e to feed" but nothing happens and it really is hindering the game experience. I have a similar situation with drinking. laying down or attacking the water does not help. The box doesn't show in most places or if I interrupt drinking to look around I don't have that option anymore, even if I press e naturally.

evrima is the hardcore more, having unique dinosaurs with different abilities
