Try this:
In your windows search bar, type in cmd and right click command prompt and open as administrator. In command prompt, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes. Wait for scan to complete. (Restart your PC afterward)

How to improve FPS

For General Performance Improvements also try this bit of PC/Game maintenance, wont hurt

When ever you change version or after a big update you MUST Delete the Config folder, especially important with a game in active beta development due to numerous engine changes

• Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or Change of Version)

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Settings will have to be adjusted again

Also:

• Update your GPU Driver (use the manufacturers website) and Windows OS to the latest version

• Verify the game in Steam

• Delete Steam Cache (Steam Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache - may take a couple of game restarts to get the full benefit)

• Hitting APPLY in Settings once your Dino has loaded into the game, this can reactivate "stuck" settings that may help with performance

For me i assumed density applied range of spawn around the spawn trigger.

Higher density = closer to trigger point. (Proof in plant ai & range deer would cluster around)

With low density it had things spread out across the map more & clusters of the same species havent happened since lowering density.

There could be internal catches around limiting exponential climb that arent applying now

I used to see herds of deer on my server with density @ 3

With slowly decreasing density, they are now sparse and seemingly random individuals

Help me, I don't know what to do. Since yesterday evening, I have been having problems connecting to the community servers and the official servers. When I click on the "unofficial" button, I have long added community servers to the list of my favorites, such as Megalodon Domination and Zooming islander, as well as others whose name I can't remember, I just don't get anywhere in the list of servers, I only find servers with 0-9 online that I don't need. The situation is even worse with the official servers, no matter how much I press the "Refresh" button, no servers are found at all, I just have an empty list of servers :(. I dare say this has something to do with the fact that on June 27th a patch was released with a bug fix that I can't download because I didn't have the update button in the steam, it just didn't appear. I even reinstalled the game, but that didn't help either (I play on hordtesting evrima). I hope I have described the problem in sufficient detail.

I have an RTX 3050 4GB laptop GPU, an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz processor, and 16GB of RAM. Before the update, I was getting at least 30–50 FPS, but after the update, even in small crowds the FPS drops to a maximum of 20, and sometimes it even goes as low as 1 FPS. I had optimized my settings for the best performance, and it was working well, but after the update, those settings completely lost their effect. Is this system insufficient for gaming, or can the FPS be fixed with proper adjustments?

Issue: Once is boot the game is asks for permission 2 times once for steam and once for the easy ant cheat, it loads the cover art with the easy anti cheat logo then crashes and boots again in a unending cycle

Troubleshooting steps thus far:
installing and uninstalling the anti cheat through the game files
-Verifying integridy of game files
-updating drivers
-adding exclusion through windows defender and uninstalling AV software
-checked my specs which are well within requirements
-restarting my pc
-switching to a different beta branch which allowed the game the boot which leads me to believe its a issue with the easy anti cheat
-uninstalling the game through %appdata%

Check your res is correct, you are running on the max frames your monitor can handle (60hertz-60 frames 144hertz-144frames etc) and lower quality to about medium. I find running the game in high makes my stuff go janky

Hi everyone, could you please tell me if it’s possible to disable crab spawns on an Evrima server? It’s unbearable. They spawn by the thousands and heavily overload the server, severely impacting the gameplay quality for players. It’s possible to disable sea turtles, but that doesn’t solve the crab problem.

I’ve seen that some other servers managed to disable crab spawns. Based on that, I assume it’s possible. I just probably don’t fully understand how it works and would really appreciate any help!

Feedback on Deinosuchus Gameplay Experience

Where can I go to let the developers know how frustrating it is to constantly starve as a Deinosuchus? Why are we forced to sometimes even eat our own kind?

I swim endlessly up and down rivers, moving from one pond to another, but players rarely come near the water. Elite fish are extremely rare, either not spawning at all or disappearing completely beneath the map when they swim into walls. Small fish stop being sufficient after about 40% growth.

Even AI animals such as boars or deer—and essentially every other AI—spot me immediately, despite careful stealth and staying below the surface. There’s hardly anything to do but constantly move the camera up and down, listening for sounds. Even if luck is on your side, hunting remains a tedious chore as nothing provides adequate nourishment.

Is it genuinely intended that players should log out repeatedly, waiting for each server restart to exploit bugged spawns just to reach at least 50% food?

I understand realism and the concept of challenging survival. But after 6-8 hours of constant starvation, when only luck occasionally provides food, the balancing clearly needs urgent revision. Why?

I've played this game for just one week (around 60-67.4 hours exclusively as Deinosuchus), aiming to explore one species thoroughly. Despite dedicating vacation days specifically for this, I can't even approach 100% growth without resorting to unfair tactics—which I refuse, as every newly spawned player deserves a fair chance at finding food. If that's your goal, there's a serious flaw in the game.

I will test other species, but this is my initial impression of the Deinosuchus experience.

I understand that it's frustrating not to find food as a deino as it currently stands. The devs are working on a kit enhancement to the deino and give it some more abilities, as well as improving upon the AI. Also, when the roster expands in the future, we'll have more semi-aquatics and aquatics that will be engaging with one another. But at the end of the day, the game is still a work in progress, and we're all in on this adventure. Just gotta stay patient haha 🙏

noo so heres what happened
legacy is an older version of this game. the devs put that older version of the game aside to rebuild it from the ground up into the newever version, evrima. legacy is now run by botted chinese servers, and not many people play on that version anymore

it looks like you're already in the evrima version, so thats good. there are official and community servers all over the world that have a lot of real people playing on them.

It all comes down to "when it's ready" and "no etas" with The Isle devs. They are a pretty small team and they don't want to give a false hope for people when they say something is releasing, and then it ends up coming out way later. It typically is a slow process to get some updates out, but I promise eventually it will come haha

You could report that the AI is extremely buggy like how you said- fish rarely spawning if at all, and then disappearing completely under the map and swimming into walls. Terrestrial animals like boar and deer also having a 6th sense by detecting you even though you're being stealthy surely isn't intended

Start with official servers with the lowest ping, also consider the population of each server as well.. next choose a Dino that is easy to play and can help you explore quickly, my suggestion is the Gallimimus, its fast growing, fast movement and can eat both some plants and some animals.. Tip - don't let your stamina get below 60% when running, Stam will regen above that value when trotting.. lastly HOLD 'Q' longer when sniffing to smell out further.. 'X' is night vision

Okay, Here is the thing. If you get the new error when trying to launch, you propably have reshade installed for the game. You will need to uninstall reshade. Verify game files. Then restart your PC. This method worked, I am able to launch the game now.
