I bought The Isle a few days ago and on the first day or 2 I was on 144fps all epic settings, but over time the game has been running worse and worse to the point it is just hard freezing now and requires a forced shutdown. When I first login I get about 80-90fps now but in certain areas (random 10x10m patches of forest) my cpu starts running under its base clock by 0.7ghz or so,my gpu plummits to >10% usage and takes my frames to a crisp 0-10. Odly my ping also shoots up to 300 when this happens and I usually just have to alt+f4 and log back in later. Any help would be appreciated thankyou 🙂

EAC Setup is missing > install the game "VRchat" from Steam library > run it once and close it > play The Isle

I joined a server where i was growing a trike and it was about 40-50% grown. I was in line to get in server and then got kicked saying server was full. I went back to look for the server w my trike and its now gone. I don't know the server name because all i did was look for the server with my trike. I'm assuming it deleted all my progress on the trike because I cant find it anywhere. If you know any way on how to fix this issue i would much appreciate it. (I'm just mad that i spent hours on a trike just for it to disappear. i don't know if an admin could get me back to my growth, like back to 40% because i still wanna try to fg it from where I left off.)

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

this will be your problem if its stuck on that screen

Anyone else getting a shutdown of peripherals when loading 0.20.109? My devices freeze and i lose my headset and microphone when it loads up. sometimes they come back otherwise i have to hard reboot my PC or manually put them back in. As trikes we nested and had issues laying the eggs. Once laid we were driven off by other trikes and could not destroy the nest. Now we are trying to re-nest in a different area and cannot at all. Nest icon keeps vanishing at various steps and unable to lay eggs. All fully gestated eggs says error.

Hi! I'm trying to run evrima, but it gives an error about needing to download easy anti-cheat. I tried to download it from the installer in the game folder (steamapps->common->The Isle->EasyAntiCheat) but nothing changed. I also checked the integrity of the files, rebooted the PC, etc. What should I do?

Try this

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.

3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.

Start by Deleting the game Config folder to reset all settings, changing versions or big updates can screw with the settings, also make sure you have the latest GPU Driver and Windows update, turn off any other unnecessary programs in the background

My card is amd and this was one of the first things I tried. I don't think it's a problem on my part. I've always played the game with high fps and high graphics without any problems, but after this update I saw both a drop in fps and it became unplayable due to lag.

I completely deleted the graphics card drivers and reset them to factory settings but it still didn't work.

If there's no GPU in the pc, you'd have to buy and install one. At minimum, to run evrima it has to be able to run dx12 at Feature Level 12_1 or higher. I use the site techpowerup.com to check what Feature Level a GPU can run

All my drivers are up to date, and my game has had constant issues running this update. I'm the only person in my group who has these issues when playing and I'm also the only one with an AMD graphics card.
This isn't an issue with my pc, one test I did was during a lag spike/fps drop, was I'd lower the 3d rendering and change all the settings I could to low. Even with restarting the game at lowest settings possible I still get this issue. And I'm sure its not an issue with parts. I'm running RX 9070 XT, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor with 32GB of Ram. It was fine before the update but now when I'm in an area with multiple players/corpses there is sudden ping spikes with fps drops. Not an internet issue either, everytime a spike happens I speed test on my browser and its all good. Has the update not been optimised for AMD? What DX is being used?

unfortunately I have not been able to play Evrima at all for three days. In the last two days I wanted to play on various servers but always ended up in the main menu when connecting without an error message. Today I tried again and got this error message (see picture). I've been playing Evrima for almost three years now without any problems and this is the first time I've seen something like this. I haven't changed anything on my PC and haven't found anything helpful on the Internet so far.

I would suggest a clean reinstall first

Update on the movement/screen stutter bug..I've ninstalled the isle, deleted folder in localappdata, rolled back drivers, updated to latest driver done clean installs etc and the bug still happening. Also messed on with all game settings and still no luck. It's like the camera can't keep up with the dino when moving.

Also I noticed I now have a cloud setting to change, but again all 3 of those settings dont help

Guys does anyone know how to fix teleporting backwards? I can't drink or eat and I keep getting teleported to where I logged in. I also can't safe log because my timer stops and it stands me up

So the issue is solved for me: i run game as admin and now i can connect to servers.
But if my friend runs game as admin, his game crashes on launch with error code EAC 10009 and if he don't use run as admin he can't connect to servers at all.

Maybe the issue was I had not changed my version to evrima. I had just launched the game upon download... No servers appeared on the current version however when I changed to evrima there are servers for me to play.

evrima is the "current" version thats being updated.
the default version Legacy(none in beta options), or the OG version, was abandoned years ago. It still has servers but the search function is so outdated and broken, its a pain in the arse to get servers to pop up.(some are lucky). theres other ways to get into servers without using the search.
Legacy no longer has Official servers, they are all unofficial. For Officials, youd find those on Evrima.

1) When I join the server and press F2 the icon of replay appears in top left corner. Okay, means it's working, good. But if I die, choose a dino and then spawn again - replays are not working. I press F2 and no icon, no anything.

2) Before that patch with trike, after downloading patch with trike - replays in replay section are just not available. I know that there's 30 mins cooldown for it, but it's not "moving" at all. I remember I was sitting in replay section for that 30 mins, went back to main menu (so maybe replays will be available when I press "replays" again) but when I returned to replay section it still was on 30 mins cooldown. And I can't watch that replays, can't even delete them in game (only thin I can do is just delete them in demo folder on pc), can't do anything with it. Wanted to check hacker's names many times but since replays are just unabled to watch, I can't do it.

1. this is normal, the F2 continues to record, so the first press after respawn disables it and the second one enables it again

Depends what you want to play. If you dont have any its called Legacy. Which is the first based game that is more simple straight forward with more dinos but its no longer beeing updated. Or you can select evrima publick branch which is the most up to date with better quality, bettter animation, etc and its still beeing worked on
