I am having an issue where after clicking "play" from steam, pop up asks "do you want this thing to make changes to your device", click yes, pop up/game say initializing, then client just closes? no fail. When ever you change version or after a big update you must Delete the Config folder, especially important with a game in active beta development due to numerous engine changes

• Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or Change of Version)

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Settings will have to be adjusted again

Also:

• Update your GPU Driver (use the manufacturers website) and Windows OS to the latest version

Yea I believe its the gpu not supporting the quadro

Its not a gaming gpu to begin with and it's old

I dont think it even supports dx12

After the update, I am experiencing lags when I try to turn by pressing the A and D keys while walking with my in-game character.

I deleted the game, downloaded it again, verified the file integrity but it still didn't work.

These hangs reduced my gaming comfort to zero and I saw 2-3 other people experiencing this problem.

My computer and internet are sufficient, this error is an error I experienced only yesterday after the update and it still continues.

If you want, I can open the screen with sound and show it, I don't know how to upload an external video.

Delete the games Config folder (something you should do after every big update).. it resets all settings for a fresh start

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Settings will have to be adjusted again

Note: Hitting "Apply" in settings after you have loaded your Dino in to game helps with some graphic bugs

guys after new patch i have some issue with "shift movement" idk anyone have it or nope i already did everything like reinstal my drivers , delete config folder , delete whole saved folder change settings to lower or higher nothing works but it looks like "camera stick" with shift turning or something when i alt turn with shift my camera weird "jumping"

Find where it says DLSSEnabled= and set it to True if it isn't already

okay, little update, for a while I had the issue that when I start the game, my CPU goes to 100 % usage and the start takes much longer, which is no longer the case after re-installing it. perhaps there was a connection. which indicates that the fatal error could probably have nothing to do with the patch yesterday or rather it's connected or something like that xD

Maybe I'm the only one where generally DLSS works but every like 10s I have one frame flicker with only a quarter of the screen being correct and the other stuff stretched.
It's theoretically usable but still annoying.

I'm a bit sad that the devs haven't found a way to patch it yet as this is already broken for over half a year now

Yea it's just an issue with DLSS itself, turning it off is the permanent fix. Sometimes disabling it for a few minutes and turning it on later works for a while

Enabling MotionBlur is also a permanent fix.
So there needs to be some issue before applying the post processing then.
