as far as I can see, that GPU has 6gb vram, which is kinda low nowadays

but my GPU also has 6gb and can run the game just fine without any issues

make sure your PC is at performance mode and not energy saving mode (windows setting)

so it doesn't reduce the performance of your laptop

you can also try a clean reinstall, deleting the isle folder from %localappdata%

I think when your system is maxed out it can not perform DLSS as well, my suggestion is to Cap your FPS below what you normally sit at, for example if you normally get north of 80fps, set the Cap to 60fps, this allows for a lot of overhead and stability in performance, may help

Noticed game was running really badly. Low FPS. (don't usually have that issue)
Went to settings to see if I can lower any settings to make it run better.
Noticed that some of the dropdowns for different graphic settings were blank. Looked as though they weren't selected on anything.
Changed textures from blank to medium.
Hit apply.
Noticed it changed my resolution for some reason.
Changed resolution back to 2560x1440
Went back into gameplay.

When you uninstalled your AV, did you use any uninstallation tool that the AV provides? Removing it from the windows Apps and Features menu generally isn't enough, AVs get deep in your pc

So I haven't played in about a week until last night. I keep all my settings on low, vsync on, dlss on ultra performance and frames capped out at 60 all the time but I logged in yesterday and it was all the same but something was off. Anyone having issues with the sky disappearing? It happened again today but I wasn't fast enough for a screenshot because I died lol.

I didn't even see him coming until it was too late lol. But the dilo got me after the sky dissapeared. And I've had it happen on other servers too, no dilos in sight.

option 1: create an exclusion in your antivirus adding the whole The Isle folder.

It's your GPU, and your CPU is too weak as well (though that wouldn't prevent you from opening the game, it would severely damage the performance of it)

Replacing those is extremely difficult, sometimes impossible in laptops depending on the design
