It is very very very unlikely it's an issue with The Isle - Fatal Error is Unreal Engine itself crashing, which tens of thousands of games use. The question is is it:

1. Something corrupt with your windows/drivers/etc
2. Interference from another program e.g. antivirus
3. Hardware issue

If you don't play any other big UE5 games it's possible you won't have any other issues - like if you just play Rocket League and Stardew Valley and stuff for example, but no Evrima patch will fix it for you

Yeah Fortnight is UE5 but it's not technically an open world one - it doesn't use the world streaming stuff, last I checked

Fortnite is also very optimised, it's almost the same client that runs on mobile and steamdeck

The steps I gave you are basically the same a tech will take. Once it's been confirmed that RAM is the issue you narrow it down by removing one stick (you likely have two, unless it's a laptop), test again, swap sticks, test again

Windows Firewall is separate from your anti-virus (which should be Windows Defender from what you've told me). In answer to your question yes, please try Evrima with your Firewall disabled, if that works you can then re-enable and add the two game executables as exceptions (Outbound/Inbound rules - allowed)

Alternatively if it does work you can just leave the firewall disabled - for many people this is fine, but I can't say for certain if that's the case for you (it depends on how your internet is connected and how many other people use your wifi/network)

Probably I just really very hardly disabled this update center few years ago. The Isle, while was installing on fresh system, downloaded additionally some microsoft net-frameworks, so my best guess I really had some backend-stuff out of date and UE5 needed something to work properly of what I've missed.

Sad thing - now I need to restore software licences that I don't really remember 🥲 but oh well

I also tried to run OCCT tests. PC crashed on 35-th minute, but without registering any CPU/RAM errors and I'm not sure this even was crash and not Windows restart because it was still updating in background (I was in another room at that moment)

If it was a crash you should of gotten a Blue Screen dump and possibly something in the Event Log, you could check for those of you wanted, but 35min is a loooooong time for it to take if your system was going to crash

So, recently I was told to upgrade my 8GB Ram to a 16GB Ram, because I was told it's enough to play and stop fatal crashes.. For the first time in a while, I could get past the loading screen, but when I tried joining a server, it crashed immediately and now I get can't get past the loading screen again. I tried to launch another UE5 game to check how it behaves. It crashed on launch too but at least it gave UE error-log (The Isle gave nothing aside of "fatal error" messages) that did give some thoughts about where to dig + I realized that software I use for recording also died after recent update, and it has nothing to do with UE5 ._.
I've also had some problems launching testing software like occt. But that last thing with action!rec just made a point that all this is just something in Windows brains gone lame, not even anti-virus. Or out-of-date components or inner security restrictions got broken, idk (I disabled updater few years ago and later manual updates seemed to be too late to fix things). So Windows reset with uploading actual build from cloud helped, all started to work again, and can't say how happy I am now that this was not hardware...

Hello,

Since Update 6.5 of The Isle: Evrima, I’ve been experiencing an issue when trying to connect to servers. I can see the servers and join the queue, but when it’s my turn to connect, I get stuck on an infinite "Connecting" screen and cannot access the game.

I’ve tested with another account on the same PC, and everything works fine, which leads me to believe the issue might be related to my Steam account. Additionally, some of my friends are encountering the same issue.

Could someone from the team assist me or provide a possible solution? I’d greatly appreciate any guidance.

It sounds like you have hardware issues with your PC, typically a bad RAM stick, though may also be caused by Windows corruption or interference from another program. As a starting point, could you please download OCCT and do a CPU + RAM Stability test? Prime95 is an Open-Source option if you prefer, but it isn't as user-friendly.

This is absolutely not the case, Evrima needs around 4.5GB of RAM plus some spare for Windows to cache textures. It will run on 8GB of system RAM. There is something else going on with your system.

There are a couple of people who have had this problem, sadly we haven't been able to figure it out yet. For some people it's only particular servers, for some it's all servers. You can try the usual networking trouble-shooting steps like disabling firewall, disabling TCPv6, changing your DNS (#🔧-evrima-troubleshooting-🔧 message) but given it appears to be account specific I don't think your chances are great. I wish I knew, sorry.

Hello guys I found solution to problems with game freez and crashing due to anticheat violation like#00000022 and so on.. ill try describe what I done

At first update graphic driver
Second update windows
Third try add exeption for the isle laincher located in steamapp to your antivirus and firewall
Fourth go to program files find steam app open the isle delete easy anticheat folder then go and run regedit on your pc select edit select find
Then write EasyAntiCheat_EOS unselect values and data only select Keys
Delete folder named EasyAntiCheat_EOS
Reinstall game that should give you new key to anticheat and solventných compatibility issue
Fifth in%localappdata% deleting config file in theisle folder (i try it before and it did not work so i deleted it just to be sure this time)

It worked for me and im able to play game for the first time for about 4 hours without hickups so far so good ill keep you update if domething happen

In my experience Audio issues usually occur when your CPU can't keep up - do you know what your system specs are?

Make sure the game is exited for each step below. Feel free to try the game again after each step and stop if it is working correctly.

Sorry for asking if this already solved. I checked the sheet and did not find MY problem. When i start the game, it gets stuck in the loading screen. Freezes. I tried reinstalling, tried making it -windowed mode, delete appdata and local appdata reinstalling it. My norton seems to be fine with the isle. I tried deleting installing reinstalling easy anticheat. Latest nvidia drivers, windows, got a 4090, i9 14900k, 64G RAM 6000mhz.

One thing tho, when i try to start easy anticheat, should a window pop up? Cause i can see something wanna pop up but it closes down immediately.. Seems to be fine in norton tho, anyone figured it out?

Tried to play the game on my new Pc, but i'm having some very distractiong graphical issues. I keep encountering these weird squares of light popping in and fazing back out everywhere. These lights sometimes get bright enough to turn the entire screen white for a few seconds, and seem to be physical objects in the game, as they stay in a consistent location.

norton unfortunately causes issues with evrima (and other games in my experience). i recommend uninstalling it and trying to launch the isle again

right click the isle in your steam library and click properties. then go to local files and there should be an option to browse the folder

i was fighting a maia and it ran off but then i found its body and it fell off a side of a mountin so i went to go get the body but it wont let me drag it or eat it so i was wondering if anyone knows how to pick it up
