after a server crash the ping is great(15-25ms), 15min in it's 40-70ms. Then after about 30-40min it's unstable between 40-120ms. After 20min mor the server is unplayable for everyone and it crashes. Then it repeats itself.

Maybe start up EU 8-9-10-11 so the other servers doesn't have such a traffic to them, Also the character view in the server browser might be pulling alot of info if theres only 7 servers and everyone clicking to look what dinos they have.

Also during my 5hours this morning theres been 0 boar, goat, deer only meat eating birds and dinos

Hi, I have a little problem, my game no longer wants to launch because "could not locate the game binary", I checked the files with Steam, and when it wants to download the missing files, the download stops with error "writing disk error". This is what I tried:

I think the servers needs a proper restart asap. Or a version rollback. Logging in, the ping is fine and steady. After about 20-30 mins the ping skyrockets and a given amount of time later, they crash and kicks everyone.
it's a circle and has happened 2 times already within the past 2-3 hours. Atm i'm just waiting for them to crash again and it's getting tiering to do this. It's not enjoyable to play on official anymore.

2 is also the only eu server i've found with a decent ping, the rest is unplayable.

hey guys is the game still broken?

i still cant join any servers. once i clicked join. its gonna hang for about 2-3 mins. and then kicks me out of the game. (game crashes)

tried everything, reinstalling, verifying integrity of files etc.

Die ständigen Serverabstürze sind ebenfalls dankend wahrgenommen worden und zeugen von einen besonnenen und überlegtem Handeln.

Das so viele noch das Spiel spielen obwohl alle 2-15 min das Game einfach abkackt ist ein Wunder und euer Glück.

Aber das hält auch nicht ewig an.

@drowsy quarry i trust you for most of the troubleshooting questions - another friend is having issues, they can load the game but when they go to play on a server it freezes on the "connecting" screen - permenantly, and they have to restart the game (if they're lucky) or restart their computer to get out of it.

your friend may need to do some common fixes when you're facing this type of error

Xeno, did he really manage to solve the freezing connecting problem? what files exactly did he delete? I deleted "the isle" in Local in %appdata% and "The isle" in steamapps common but it didn't solve the problem, what else did he do?

Every time I try and enter a server my game freezes on me. Which then freezes my whole computer to varying degrees.
I uninstalled, cleaned everything, tried different servers, unofficials, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Try reverting back to legacy and see if it will run then if it does revert back to evrima, another way is go into files under and delete everything in the file then verify files and should redownload everything

I downloaded Reshade a long time ago, and now i cant uninstall him, how can i delete it? reinstall of game dont remove it

Yeah, he did that. He went into the folder and wiped everything inside, went out and kept deleting till he got to “the isle” folder - and deleted that

Many fixes, not all work- look up in pins how to access “%localappdata%” then delete the file for the isle, then uninstall the game through steam (reinstall after)

This helped 2 of my friends with a similar error to joining servers 👍

Its an early access game that was rebuilt from the ground up, nothing gunna be perfect, give it time n let them figure out whats wrong, the game is really fun when it is playable. ppl jump the gun thinkin it aint good because a patch broke it. nah just give em time n theyll fix it.

if you only have that GPU then sadly you can't play the Evrima version of the game, it is not supported by this integrated GPU
