Mentioned this in another channel, but adding here... perfect diet as well: when I use beipi night vision under water, I'm not seeing outlines like other people seem to on their video's/streams... Those are integrated graphics. Some recent and more powerful AMD integrated graphics seem to work, but Intel integrated graphics are way too weak.

i bought the game 4 days ago and i was playing legacy right it worked fine i played for 2 days then i wanted to try evrima and then when i got evrima it said "game running" whenever i open evrima

so i cant play evrima

I click play and it opens the antocheat square thingy on my screen and loads

What is your original issue?
DirectX is what enables games to communicate with your hardware, to put it simply. There are different versions of DirectX as well as different feature levels. Modern games like The Isle may need the latest version of DirectX which is DirectX 12, and on top of that you need up-to-date Windows (DX12 is updated through Windows updates) and up-to-date graphics drivers (so that your GPU knows how to communicate with the DX12 features).

Try to cap your FPS to 60. Sadly this is an issue with DX12 rendering, it doesn't matter if you have a 1050 or a 4090, your GPU can still crash because of that issue with DX12 rendering... It varies greatly from GPUs to GPUs. You're among the unlucky ones who have a GPU affected by this issue. :/
If capping your FPS doesn't work, underclocking has proved itself to be way more effective, if you're willing to go to that length.
Otherwise, you will need to wait for the devs to find a way to bypass that issue.

Can someone help me pls? Its been 1 or 2 month since I played and now I got a new problem. I can start the game normally, I can see the serverlist but when I try to join, it takes about 3-4 min. and when I finally enter, my Ping is over 200 or more. And yes I joined a server that is close to me etc, I tryed to restart the game, my PC nothing works. When I start others games or do a conntection test, everything is fine. Okay so I'm having an issue that idk how to fix anymore. tried all the suggested fixes from official list of deleting the config etc. as well as the unnofficial fixes, reinstalling dx12, drivers, the game (multiple times actually), changing to windowed fullscreen and limiting FPS.

And every time I play, after a while appears a Fatal Error (no description. just asmall window saying the game crashed, there was some kind of Fatal Error and thats it. it closes.) As I say... it doesnt say what kind of fatal error other than UE type, which I only deduct from its UE icon. Before, I had thread issues with UE but fixed it for a time by changing to windowed mode. Now this thing appears and I just wanna play...

Alright, so whenever I connect to any server and I get onto the menu to select my dinosaur, I get kicked and this pops up. Weirdly enough, I can still play on the two servers I have an active dinosaur on though.
I've tried restarting my PC, verifying files, uninstall and reinstalling the game, and just brute-forcing with several dozen tries. That's about as much as my monkey-brain can think of to try and solve this issue.

And that's the thing, I can't spawn a new dino at all. It's when I get on the menu to select the dino I'd want to be that it boots me and say my connection to the host has been lost. I see the menu for a split second where you can choose to be a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore, and then I'm kicked to the main menu.

So then it seems like its an issue with the game. There are a few things I can think of to fix it, but i'll need to look up how to do them to refresh my memory. Give me a few minutes

1. Type in CMD on your windows search through your computer.
2. Right click Command Prompt
3. Click Run as Admin. It'll open a black weird box
4. Type ipconfig /flushdns
5. Hit enter
6. Type netsh winsock reset
7. Hit enter

I don't know if this will work but it is a fix for a similar problem. I'm still looking for a better solution, but might be worth to try this

Honestly, I did so many things to my game. I deleted the config folder, I flushed my dns, also deleted a bunch of useless stuff off my pc, last one I tried which I think was the fix was entirely deleting the game from my pc making sure nothing remained from the isle

Also firewall didnt work. I tried so many others but these were the major things. I think your best bet is to entirely deleting everything with the isle from your PC entirely. Do you know how to do that?

  • corrupted config -> delete "Saved" folder
    • press Win + R

    • click 'Ok'.
    • delete or rename the Saved folder
  • overheating -> improve cooling
    • check your temperatures, google normal temperatures for your hardware this is very specific to your parts (but above 100°C is always bad)
    • make sure the PC/laptop has enough airflow
    • clean the fans (look online for tutorials)
    • check if all fans are working
  • corrupted system files -> have windows repair them
    • press Windows key
    • find the "Command Prompt" app
    • right click and "Run as Administrator"
    • paste sfc /scannow
    • press enter
    • make sure to "Restart" (not Shutdown and boot back up as this might do a "quick boot" which is not what we want)
  • missing windows update -> check for updates
    • press Windows-Key
    • type "check for updates"
    • click it and install all missing updates
    • reboot, even if it doesn't say you have to (for good measure)
  • corrupted or outdated drivers -> update drivers (get them from the manufacturer)

Google around a bit there might be modes 0-4 with 0 being off and 1-4 being more quality the higher the number but thats just a guess. You could try as there is very little danger in breaking your game as you can just revert the setting

yes its litterly the eaxt same if there are no rules like on asura

like you have replays and some servers have humans enabled which nobody plays

Your issue is probably related to the GPU crash issue that some players encounter with the game ever since it moved to UE5. It's a common problem in UE5, it's not the game's fault per se. Normally only the GPU crashes, in your case it seems like your system is being extra dramatic about it.
It could be evocative of other deeper instability issues with your system though, so I would still recommend to try basic troubleshooting – update your BIOS, run some tests to make sure your hardware aren't faulty, reverse any overclocking, etc.
Alternatively, if it's indeed due to the GPU crash issue, capping your FPS to 60 and making sure that ray-tracing and lumen are off might help. Underclocking your GPU can help too.

Updating BIOS is fairly easy, just don't do it during a storm. But I completely understand if you're not comfortable with that. I would still recommend running tests to make sure all of your hardware function properly.

ok so i tried running the game at 60 fps, turning the other things off, i thought it worked because i got to play for like 15 minutes but it still crashed

just summoned up the courage and also updated my BIOS

For a slightly different issue just before where my game wouldn't run at all, try reinstalling. I hated to do it but that was the only thing that worked. I didn't try restarting my PC, which I have heard may also would have possibly helped

This game just consistently force restarts my PC getting error Clock Watchdog Timeout. I have a new, powerful PC, i can play every single game on max, everything is up to date, no hardware issues after every scan, yet im still getting horrible crashes. Its the game, not peoples hardware, there are at least 100 people on steam complaining about the same issue and everybody wants to point at their hardware.

So I’m playing this. I play both. An no choppy lag on legacy. But …. When I play envirma. I literally can’t do anything no matter how much I teak settings. nowadays the games requires 8gb or more

of course it's not a rule, it just means you will be more comfortable playing
