The devs said they will not provide support for DX11.
The vast majority of GPUs from 2015/2016 and onwards support DX12. DX11 is highly outdated now.

FYI: TheIsle is missing the EAC setup file since the update and we use VRChat's EAC install as a substitute.

• missing a driver update (usually gfx driver) -> update drivers (get them from AMD, NVIDIA, Intel directly)
• or missing a windows update -> Check for Updates
• or are using Windows7 (only supports DX11) -> Upgrade to newer Windows or hope for devs to add a DX11 option (unlikely but you can vote here #general-feedback message)
• or your gfx hardware really doesn't support this new game version (i.e. Intel Iris Xe chipsets, GTX <1000) -> hope for devs to add a DX11 option (unlikely but you can vote here #general-feedback message)

it was fine before the update, uninstalled the game fully then reinstalled it along with the update to freshen it up, and deleted config

but i can just redelete the config and retry if you like

It may help, but no promises. I'd reccomend you deleting the config and not changing any settings, even the 3D Resolution.

Then, jump into an unofficial server to test.

When you change any settings weird things can happen if you dont take the proper steps;
Step 1; Don't change settings in-game, do so in the main menu.
Step 2; Do not go into game, instead restart the game after changing any settings.

Whenever I join server, I get EXTREMLY LOW FPS at any random moment, and after like 15 mins it stops and its again normaal. Lag happens randomly. This issue is only with the isle. What to do??

Well, first of all ~ that is the intended underwater night vision, secondly, you're under water. The Bepi isn't mean to see perfectly like the Dieno under water.
If you can provide an image of the issue above water, maybe that can help us get a little closer to the issue.
