i would recommend to delete the config folder

3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

mate... your cpu is thermal throttling thats why the usage is so low

after you fix that and there is no difference THEN theres probably a problem with the game unless its just not very cpu intensive

Its not thermal throttling mate, not a laptop but a desktop, it sits at 4.5Ghz comfortably on all cores at all times, never dropping whilst gaming, also monitoring it with ThrottleStop

hey guys I bought the game today and set my beta on evrima because I wanted to play with a friend. The game didn`t start once! It opens the anticheat software and loads it and then just shows the game banner on my desktop. Tried verifying my game files, updated my graphics driver as well as microsoft redistributional (found that via websearch). I also tried adding the vcruntime file. I´m running on a 3080rtx, 5600x ryzen 5 and 32gb ram. Can somebody pls help! I´m this close to giving it back.

i recently redownloaded evrima & was having trouble with anticheat. i fixed it by right clicking the isle in steam > browse local files > running the InstallAntiCheat exe
it didn't look like it did anything for me but after doing that & starting the isle again, it worked

you could try uninstalling & reinstalling anticheat. if that doesn't work, your best bet might be a completely clean uninstall of the isle & then reinstalling it

Do you play any VR-games by chance ?

Some VR-Applications seem to cause issues with the Isle, especially a program called OpenXR.
If you still have that problem after your reinstall, try taking a look at this post to delete it, that's been the main cause for this issue.
If that doesn't work, consider deactivating other VR-applications you can think of, like the Oculus app.

Try doing this, even if everything is in english:

1.) If running The Isle, exit the game.
2.) Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")
3.) Type %localappdata% then press Enter. (make sure you're really in Appdata -> local, and not in Appdata -> Roaming!)
4.) Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5.) Open the "Saved" folder, and go into the Config folder.
6.) Open the WindowsClient folder.
7.) Open the "GameUserSettings.ini" (for you it might just be "GameUserSettings")
8.) Scroll to the end, and add this:
[Internationalization] Culture=en
9.) save the change and open the game, now see if it's fixed

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

--------------------------------- 1 -------------------------------
Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

• Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
• Properties
• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
• Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
• Return to Properties / Local Files
• Verify integrity of the game files.

  For anyone else with this issue, go to the game directory

And as soon as I press play, it lets me go through pick a server and start and then it shuts off and when I say that I mean that he completely makes my computer reboot I don’t know what’s going on. I recently deleted my config file due to a graphical bug i was having. since the i deleted it, i am no longer getting the graphic bug, but all my settings are stuck on epic. if you want, you could try the fix for a different issue. It's not really related but maybe it could help.

It's basically that some VR-Applications can cause issues with the EasyAntiCheat, which usually ends in people being stuck in the splash-screen upon loading up the game.
You could try deleting a folder for an Application called OpenXR, which is usually the cause of this issue, like in this post described:
Else maybe deactivating other VR-programs like the Oculus app.

Hello I'm trying to connect to EU3 server and I got a strange bug. When the pop-up "Connecting..." takes too long, I quit to return to the main menu and retry "Play", "Select Server", "Connect" and then... I got this. Hi ! I got the same problem, so you may try to follow this, or my solution is to set your graphic, and then log ( if you got send back to lobby because server is full you have to do you settings again, but if you could get in your graphic will be save for this session )

o manually change your texture settings for those who cannot do so in game, do the following:

1. Press Windows key.

2. Type "Run" and launch Run program.

3. Type in %localappdata%\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini (copy and paste) and click 'Ok'.

4. Find sg.TexturesQuality=x and set X to a lower/higher number (see below on what number equals what)

5. Press CTRL S (Save it)

0=low, 1=medium, 2=high,3=epic, 4=cinematic

Note = If you find that the in-game settings don't change after doing this, you have to change all of the settings except "ResolutionQuality" to one number. (AKA all of them have to be 0, or 1, or 3.)

The official NA server restarts are at (these times are ajusted to your local time):

but I would recommand safe logging 5-10 min before that if you can.
If you had it outside of that, it might have been a crash ): the servers are also sometimes a bit unstable after restarting

Do you have an Anti-Virus Program ? If you do, make sure it's not blocking the game.
You should be able to add an exclusion for the "The Isle" steam game folder
(I mean the folder under:

Hello. I have been having this bug/error/problem for a loong time.. whenever i lose connection to the game, wether it’s server restart or my own connection problem and i get kicked out of the game. My dino stats literally goes back 30min-1hr+ which i lose all the growth and everything i did.

try deleting your saved folder, it will reset your settings

This normally helps when the above fixes don't work, EAC can be corrupted and just not install the files right or at the correct place.
You can try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" file to fix that.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how, this is kind of optional but just to be sure)

hm o: I'm not sure how useful it is, especially since it's in german but:

1. go here (first picture) and delete the EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys. if you don't have the .sys endings and so, it's just the file which doesn't have the blue bear as a symbol

2. For the second step do this:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder

3. To verify your game files you:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Veify integrity of game files

4. You go back to the game folder and use the batch files, it's like in the fixes you already tried.

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• double click these two files, in the order of picture 2. A terminal might pop up for a second, but else nothing visible will happen.
  And again, it doesn't matter if you see the .bat

It seems like some VR-Applications can cause an issue with the EAC version we have.
Especially something called OpenXR.
Take a look at this post, it describes on how to delete the OpenXR folder, it's originally for a different issue (being stuck in the splash-art screen), but it seems to help with the 30005 (or 10011) issue too sometimes, so it's definitely worth a try.

I have a problem connecting to the eu7 server (where I have an adult dino that I have safelog) the server asks me to create a dino... I restarted the game, the same, I restarted the computer, same thing. An idea ?

So, I was just playing as a Omniraptor and pouncing on a little Deino, when I glitched through the floor, inside of the map. There I drowned. Now my Omni is dead and I am confused

I've tried mostly everything, restarted my pc, reinstalled EAC, verified files, reinstalled game, removed UserData files... Disabled Antivirus, pretty much out out ideas!

My left cntrl key is broken so I rebound crouch to my middle mouse button but I can't submerge as a deino and I haven't found a specific keybind for that

Sadly I don't think that diving can be rebound, it's always control
