Pls tell me whyy i get massive frame drops like hell ive been playing for a year now and (Its not my pc its above recommendations) i put everything to low graphics and when there's people around my fps hit just 5 to 10 fps in some areas this makes the game unplayable for me because most of the time you will be fighting other players and if my fps is 5 then yeah GG after a year still no improvement? this is realy a gamebreaker for me and im sure other people have this problem to(got 200 hours enjoying evrima but these fps drops got me killed alot

I sit on 100-130 fps in most areas. It only drops down to 12-30 for 2 seconds in certain areas.

If you're stuck in a tree, try logging out, then back into the game and while the game is loading in try moving away from your position.

Else you can try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Tell them your in-game name + your specific server, so they can unstuck you.

Though all Official server admins are volunteers, and might not always be available >.<
If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a response.

You could try resetting your Graphic settings manually, the problem is, some people have been having the issue that they're unable to change any settings after doing this, since update 6.0.

Try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat.sys"(maybe "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" for you) file.

It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

Im having an issue with launching the game, when I press "Play" it says its launching then it just doesent actually open and lets me press play again, Ive already reinstalled a few times aswell as verifying files. Ive restarted steam and closed it through Task Manager and such and it still wont open. What kinda machine power you running? I'm personally curious because I've heard of but didn't personally have this problem. I jacked everything up to Cinematic and it chugged quite a bit after sprinting across the map for 20 seconds or so but I've been running everything on Epic except Anti-aliasing (always has the biggest negative effect on my GPU performance). I know I'm not much help but just wondering if it's more of a gfx power issue than an actual bug.

hm, have you tried deleting your EAC folder, and then verifying your game files ?

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder

But for the future, if you're stuck you can try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Tell them your in-game name + your specific server, so they can unstuck you.

Though all Official server admins are volunteers, and might not always be available!
If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a response.

You should be able to add an exclusion for the "The Isle" steam game folder
(I mean the folder under:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library

Give this a try and see if you get an error: Navigate through your steam folder to The Isle folder, then launch the game via Isle.exe, you should receive very specific errors. Right click The Isle in Steam, left click properties -> local files -> browse local files -> TheIsle -> Binaries -> Win64 -> TheIsle application.

Can also update your drivers and see if that helps. Reinstall easy anti cheat and if that doesn't work ,it might be that your gpu is too old ^^

Anyone having the issue with the game crashing on launch: geforce experience just had an update, installing that should fix the issue (it did for me) if verifying game files didn't.

I verified game files and relaunched to fix this. Also make sure you have the latest drivers etc...

Not the best but still should be able to run Evrima at 30-40 fps. When running the game, can you also run task manager and look at the performance tab? See if anything reaches 100%.

im sorry to bother anyone here. but i just got the game, and I am trying to launch it in Evrima, and when I do, it loads, then it stops and brings up a Lunach error saying that it was unable to install easyanticheat.... so I looked it up to figure out how to install it.
I did what it asked me, locate the game file manually and double click easyanticheat to run it, or right click and run it as administrator. Tried both, didnt work.

hello everyone, i'm having the issue where i try to launch evrima through the steam client, and nothing happens. i then go into properties, local files, and try launching the .exe file, it loads easy anti-cheat, then the little "the isle" window pops up, but almost immediately it closes and the game never starts. i have tried opening in both admin and normal routes.. i have tried uninstalling and restarting my pc and many other of the options that google has told me.. nothing is working and i am at a loss of what to do now.. please help?
also an edit: the easy anti-cheat .exe or the uninstall/install apps never do anything so i can't do anything from there..

Hello everyone, I'm having issues with evrima after i play 10-15 minutes it crashes my PC. Was able to play longer before the update. I've played other games and its just evrima that crashes it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled i have deleted the files out of the steam folders and reinstalled but it persists. 5. Press CTRL S (Save it)

If that does not work try this:

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the windows key (or press "Windows key" + "R")

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.

5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

You should be able to add an exclusion for the "The Isle" steam game folder
(I mean the folder under:

Hello, Im still having this issue where im unable to launch the game? Ive verified files a few times and ive done so after reinstaling the game, Switching betas, and even redownloading steam and updating it, It has nothing to do with Anti-cheat and it never gives me a error screen or a pop-up when it doesent work. it's basically this:

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
It will however delete the Skins you have saved to presets, so you might want to save those first.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

It already is, iirc. Download legacy first, rename the installation folder, then swap betas and download evrima. When you want to play legacy, rename the folder back to The Isle and change the evrima file's name

There might be a little more to it but that's the basics

Though you might not need to download legacy first, I've just heard that less problems happen when evrima is installed second

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Any help? I've been trying to fix this for maybe 2 or 3 months and nothing is working, I've redownloaded the game and the AntiCheat but it hasn't worked

For whatever reason my game will crash frequently and when it crashes it freezes my entire computer so I cannot use any other windows or apps immediately after the crash, to fix it I have to hit the windows key and close out the app manually with task manager because it won't close on its own post-crash.
