You could try a manual complete re-install maybe, I'm not sure if it will help though ):

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

There's no good fix yet for that, that I know ):
Try to:

• Verify your game files
• Check if you have the latest drivers for your Graphic card
• Make sure your Windows is up to date.

if nothing helps, 3 people were able to fix it over re-installing Windows.
But I wouldn't recommand that if you're not knowledgeable on how to do that >.<

Hello! Someone DMed me saying that I should consult with the isle developers about this.
So, i'm having a issue with performance. Before pachy update, I could easily run evrima on high settings with 60 FPS. After, I can only run on low settings, on low resolution, and render scale with 5-30 FPS. I mainly built my PC for the isle, so I'm pretty down about it.
While playing on low settings, my task manager says my CPU is hitting 100% while other components are 70%-90%. It's not overheating, it has a water cooler, with a almost perfect amount of thermal paste, plus it stays around 30-36 C while playing the isle. So, I'm completely lost at what it could be. All my components are only a year old besides my GPU.
I don't know much about PC knowledge, this is pretty new to me and my first PC i've ever built.

My specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Geforce GTX 1650 Super
16 GB RAM
500 Watts
msi tomahawk max B450

It's not crashing, just very bad proformance. This is all tested with no tabs open besides the isle and task manager

I'm having issues with loading the Unofficial roster of servers in-game. Loading the list servers is normal, however, when I try to change how the servers are listed by ping, my game freezes hard to the point that my internet temporarily stops functioning on my machine. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle - installing the InstallAntiCheat Windows Batch File from there and restarting Steam sorted it for me.

It's already been done. Punch had contacted GFN and players have contacted them too. The answer we got is that the problem is Evrima not being the main branch and GFN not supporting beta branches. Devs can't do anything apart from switching Evrima to the main branch and looking for other workarounds to get it to work on GFN, but no solution has been found so far.

Hello, I would need some help with some issue I have had with Isle Evrima, I play for like 5-10 minutes and after that this error comes up and I have to go to the task manager to end the isle, as alt + F4 and trying to close The Isle window does not work, it basically freezes and cant close it other ways than the task manager.
I have uninstalled and installed The Isle multiple times, I have verified the game files multiple times and nothing is found wrong, I have deleted the whole The Isle folder and also deleted the saved folder, I have updated the drivers, I have checked for updated the pc and nothing works. The pc is not overclocked or underclocked. There is nothing wrong with the pc as I can run any other games with no problems, its only The Isle. If there is a answer to fix this issue, please do reply to this message ^^

I also "found" (over googling and testing with some people in here) another fix for EAC being not installed.

Try deleting the "EasyAntiCheat.sys"(maybe "EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys" for you) file.
It's default path should be in "C: -> Programs(x86) -> EasyAntiCheat_EOS",

• Go there and delete the .sys file
• Then, go to your games folder and delete the EAC folder
• Verify your game files over steam
• Unintall and install Easy-Anti-Cheat over their .bat files again (Feel free to ask if you don't know how)

If you delete the Isle folder in %localappdata%, yes, the game will work. It will essentially just reset your custom settings and this kind of things. So for example if you had changed the controls, you will have to change them again. But other than that, the game will work, and this will, hopefully, fix your problem.

I didn't log before server restart 😭 I safe logged around 3:30AM (server restart is 2:08AM for me), I had full everything, went to sleep in a bush with several other people. Went to play, and it had me at the "select" screen again.

This will however reset your Graphic Settings and your Keybinds, I'd recommand making a Picture of your settings so you can restore them if anything changes.

I have been playing The Isle for quite a lot, but there are some pauses inbetween playing sprees, as the last time i was obsessed with customizing my deino was two weeks ago. I wanted to get back yesterday and when going into the game, the menu screen was completely fine without any lag or any sound jittering. Then I actually went in game as a baby carno but i got 5-7 fps with 15 fps looking at the ground. I thought at first that it was the quality or graphics of the game so i lowered them all to the bare minimum but the fps still lingered below 10. I think there are some corrupted files but I dont know how to find them and what to do with them. Restarting the isle didnt help.

An admin will help you as soon as they are available. If you are low on water or food, log off and only come back when an admin has notified you that they will help you.

None has however been found so far, and I doubt we will find one. A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

hm, the 0x2200 Error usually means that there's a program running in the Background that EAC doesn't like.
Things like Wallpaper Engine or Origin can cause that for example.
Maybe something you have in the background could be causing it

Try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

Evrima doesnt launch anymore. I have a video that (hopefully) shows what's happening. I've fully uninstalled and reinstalled many times, verified game files, uninstalled and reinstalled EAC, tested on older graphic drivers. I think I've spotted a bug, it's happened to me more often now, but I observed it better this time. Sometimes when I'm running as an adult Carno and a little Utah comes in front of my feet, the game doesn't really check where I'm standing anymore and I'm always teleported back a few meters when I'm running and it starts to lag. when I spawned 3 minutes before the incident (EU 1) there were 52 players inside, when I wanted to relog after the incident, I saw that there were only 40 inside and more and more were leaving, I think if that happens to one then the whole thing changes server hangs and it crashes. maybe it's related, please confirm me if i'm right, that would be important for the devs. ❤️

Alright, so heres the deal. i cant play evrima because when i load the game its set to a resolution my monitor wont even let me set(odd right?) and my mouse location, according to the game, isnt where it really is(game thinks its up and to the left of where it really is) meaning i cant make any in game setting changes because the accept button is at the bottom of the screen. ive reinstalled numerous times, deleted appdata files and reverified files, ive even tried using nvidia to force setting changes and the game just forces the same broken settings. Ive changed my scaling settings on windows as well as going into the games combatibility and forcing dpi, no change. Also in compatability ive told it to run in 680 and the game starts loading in that resolution but then forces the previous broken resolution. think that covers everything ive done.

Try going to the correct server channel (so #evrima-eu , #evrima-na ...) and ping the "Official server admin" role.
Also tell them your in-game name + your specific server.

If you don't get an answer in a few min or if your dino is low on water/food, it might be the best to log out for now and wait for a respons.

If you still have that Issue and it doesn't go away even after trying other servers, try this:

A re/un-install from hand can sometimes help with certain issues were a normal uninstall over steam doesn't work.
Some files "survive" if you uninstall a game over steam, therefore this might help.
For a complete uninstall do these 2 steps:

1.) Deleting your Steam game files:

• Right Click The Isle in your steam library
• Select Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files
• Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.

2.) Deleting your Local game files

• Press "Windows key" (or "Windows key" + "R" if that doesn't work)
• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.
• Search for TheIsle folder.
• Delete the TheIsle folder once you've found it.

Now you can re-install the game over Steam, like normal.

I've been trying to open up the game for the longest time, I wrote here before but no one answered sadly. Everytime I try to open the game, I get a prompt from my PC as the ones you get when you have to give admin authorization in order to open the anticheat system before booting up the game but every time I click on yes I just get stuck on an endless loop of prompts asking me to give permission. I noticed that other games that use this anticheat system don't trigger that prompt, only this game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Coon, I am not an Official Isle Supporter, but I have seen this issue before. If you are the Administrator of your machine you should be able to authorize the prompt. If you did authorize then uninstall the anti-cheat and reinstall. Also, you may want to check the Anitcheat installation location and right-click on it to properties and make sure the compatibility on ADMIN is checked off. Hope this was helpful.

I would check thos. Check the cards heat. If it has cooked itself it will no longer run right. Of course if other games are fine then its something to do with the isle

hi everyone, when playing deino for the first time after some minutes the bottom of the river appears dark/black and I can't see anything. Night vision does not clear it up.

and about the back screen, if you can press the buttons but don't see them, try F11
