Okay, my friend TraP has been having an issue with starting up Evrima. Whenever he gets to the menu it says "Fatal Error" and "Failed to Launch". He's tried verifying game files multipule times and reinstalling the entire game. I couldn't find anything on it so I cam here to ask. He's offline right now but I can get more information once he's back on. This has been going on for him since the start of Evrima just so it's out there.

Hey guys, so weird question, how do I force reset controls and settings? For some reason the game is not resetting to default controls. It's trying to use a controller setup when I am not using a controller. And Now it's not letting me move my camera or anything.

I don't know what to do honestly.

When I launch the game, it freezes after the intro plays, before the main menu displays (on both Evrima and Legacy). Sometimes when I verify the files before launching, I can make it to the server screen before it freezes again and can only be closed by Task Manager. I've reinstalled the game (completely, deleted all The Isle folders before reinstalling) 3 times now. I can play maybe once or twice after a fresh install, but then this occurs again and I can't do anything. I am so sick of it. I've googled this every time, and referred to pinned-troubleshooting numerous times. The only time the other channel helped, was a graphics card driver update that I missed a month ago, around when this started.

I am completely lost on what to do. I don't want to slowly install this game times over just to play.
My windows is up to date.
My drivers are up to date.
This occurs on both LEGACY and EVRIMA.

hey guys. i just installed the game (evrima version) but i cant launch it. When i start to play button i get an error (the one on the SS). I've tried multiple ways to solve it. Repairing the game, InstallAntiCheat.bat(a cmd screen shows and shuts down instantly), EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe(when ı clıck it noting happens) and reinstalling the game. but nothing solved my problem. Hi, so it seems every 15-25min my game crashes. I have tried deleting the "Saved" folder, updating my graphics driver, changing the graphics settings (which didn't change the time it took to crash), uninstalling and reinstalling the game. My game always runs perfectly then just stops. Even crashes in the menu screen sometimes. My ping and FPM are fine. Is there anything else I'm missing or can I not play the isle anymore? Every time I crash I end up dying and don't get me started with trying to rejoin the server after.

Since the new update my audio has stuttered. I've tried almost everything to fix it. My audio drivers are up to date, I did verify integ and deleted my save files, my gpu isn't that old ( 3 years at the oldest ). I'm uninstalling and reinstalling, I hope that helps but otherwise I'm at a complete loss. I can run the game just fine otherwise. It's just the sound stuttering.

Could be some weird left over .exe sitting around that Steam thinks it needs to run, and when it tries to it just reinstalls legacy.
Try this

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

That's caused because your local language probably contains symbols that the game can'T interpret.
For example arabic letters

4.) if that didn't work either, you can try re-downloading the EAC:

• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder in the 'Steam -> steamapps -> common -> TheIsle' folder of steam
• Then verify the integrity of your game files over steam
• And then restart your PC.

Still an on going issue since the last major update. As a controller player, it is now very clunky to use a controller. I've made several mentions to no avail. So won't include as much info as I have before unless contacted. Here are screen shots of the before and after controls for controller analog. This change is seriously handicapped controller players.

Additionally, this issue did not happen right after the nesting update, it only happened once the isle files were updated to allow nesting (they weren't available right front the get go after the update, the configuration files needed to be deleted then reinstalled)

If needed I can provide both before and after footage. I still has the older files for controller analog on another pc to compare

If you are experiencing issues with your controls since the latest update (can't move camera, unable to court, etc) then please try wiping your config files in localappdata.

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

It’ll launch for 5 seconds then stop immediately. Ans what’s weird also the “app configuration unavailable” continuously keeps popping up after I shut off or restart my pc (but I’ve gotten the hang of deleting the appinfo.vdf so that fine) I’m just upset because it lets me launch legacy perfectly fine, but not evirma……. I have a confusing problem and I just would like to see if there is something that can help My friend was up at my house when the nesting update dropped and we downloaded it and played for a couple days she was on a mobile hotspot to help with some lag we were having but like I said we played for a couple day through all the time when the servers were having issues but when she went home she couldn't connect to any official server on her house wifi.
This had never happened she has hundreds of hours in the game basically played since launch. So she went back to the hotspot it worked for a day and then didn't she was then able to connect to unofficial servers with no issue but just the other day that stopped as well . It is starting to feel like she has been account or ip banned or something and we don't know what to do.
Any information would help she loves this game and she has waited so long for this update I'd hate to see her lose the ability to play a game she loves.

Good afternoon. Is there a fix for EVRIMA being disabled every time I open Steam? It used to remember to opt into EVRIMA, like it would remember my settings from the last time I played, but after U5 it has begun to auto-install Legacy, so I have to like. Remember to catch it in time before it does it all the way. Is there a fix for this? Why did this suddenly happen? It's so irritating to have this happen everyday.

For example if you're stuck on EU3, go to #evrima-eu and tell them EU3 + your in-game name

My brother is having an issue where after updating this update there aren't any official servers showing up, we've clicked hide empty and all that stuff but nothing is showing up. Unofficial servers are showing up, I'm making him verify the files now but does anyone know any other tricks to try?
