Yeah thats because your dino ate something it shouldnt. It happened to me as tento because I ate the wrong mushrooms. Click tab and look at your dinos information under diet. You basically have rabies but it will go away on its own

Evrima crashes every time I try to load into the actual game.
So, once I finish a skin, I click 'confirm' and it's a black screen for a few seconds. Then a popup shows up saying 'The Isle has had a fatal error' etc etc and crashes.

Anyone got any advice on how to fix this, or what may be causing it?

Additionally, this issue only came up after Update 5. Prior to this update everything was fine and I could run Evrima pretty much perfectly so I don't think it's my PC but it could be.

Hi, I'm having a problem with my Evrima and I'm not sure how to go about fixing it. Whenever I load up Evrima, the audio is all messed up. I have decent-ish frames, but when it comes to music, walking, running, calls (especially calls) all the sound cuts out and sounds super robotic. The only solution I've found is to lower the SFX and Music volumes, but that also silences everything I need to hear my surroundings which I don't want. I get about 17-25 frames right now (not great I know, but one of the updates made it harder to run I guess) so it shouldn't be messing with the sounds that much. Has anyone else experienced this that can help me out?

Getting Easy Anti Cheat is not installed errors no matter what I do.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and EAC, I've restarted my PC, I've repaired the EAC install, I've switched from Evrima to the main branch and back, I've verified game files multiple times, the game still thinks I don't have EAC installed.

I'm going to post instructions for a manual uninstall reinstall that can help re-aquire lost or missing files in the game, better than a verify files can.
As this is a new bug and a new update there's currently not much to show for in terms of fixing or working around. Bugs in this nature just need to be fixed and patched so please do submit a bug report at #🐞-evrima-bug-reports-🐞 if this doesn't fix it.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

OK I have a question - I safe logged out of EU 2 with my adult teno so I could delete the Config folder. I did that because my tail slam attack just wasn't working. I log back in and poof, my dino is gone. Did clearing the Config folder delete my dino?

You can try these steps, I had that problem too and this solved it for me:

• Delete the "EasyAntiCheat"-folder in the 'Steam -> steamapps -> common -> TheIsle' folder of steam
• Then verify the integrity of your game files over steam
• And then restart your PC.

Alternatively you can also try the following:
Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes. You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located. And then verify files afterwards

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.

5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.

for some reason I'm not getting ANY servers listed under official right now. My friends are playing on NA6 and not having any trouble. I don't have any filters limiting it selected, nothing hiding full servers, but its still showing not a single official one. I get lots of results for unofficial servers. I've tried closing and opening the game, and even signing out and signing back in to steam. Nothing fixes it lol

Hello, I'm having issues with terrain loading. When flying as a pteradon, I sometimes come across large areas that aren't loaded, and load in when I'm already flying above them for about a hundred meters. Are there any game settings I can adjust to lessen this effect?

Sometimes the area is a bit finicky about where a nest is placed, such as if its too close to water, too uneven, or has something like sticks or rocks too close. Have you tried moving to another area?

Also because both males and females can place a nest, it may be that you and your mate are both pressing the button at the same time

I have noticed that too yeah - I was very excited for Update 5 but when I logged in, it looked miserable. I don’t know what happened and it’s not because of my settings or my computer. In Update 4.5 it looked definitely better!

Yesterday I pressed Shift, alt, z, w and some other key while playing the isle. When I did that it changed the game to windowed mode so then I pressed f11 to make it fullscreen again and after that the screen turned black for 3 seconds and then became fullscreen again but the buttons were still in windowed mode so to press a button I need to take the mouse pointer to the place the button would be in windowed mode. (btw I have the geforce experience driver update installed) Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, while playing, I often have large areas of terrain that won't load when I travel from one area to another. Creatures appear as if they fall through the ground, and I can't enter the area without my movement becoming super glitched. My specs are:

for those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it
--------------------------------- 1 -------------------------------
Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

• Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
• Properties
• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
• Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
• Return to Properties / Local Files

  For anyone else with this issue, go to the game directory
