Hello, since yesterday I've got an issue with the game "Nightvision" or with the game "Night/Day time toggle" whenever the day goes out and the night comes, or when the nights done and the day's coming back my game does this (A big glitch effect in the screen as if my graphics card's dying) and nope I don't have any issue with my computer or it's component, and not with the game either.. It never gave me this screen since evrima launched, but since yesterday and today I'm getting this. Of course if I leave the game and restart steam it works, but it's a little bit annoying to do this while I'm playing the isle on live twitch.

For me I adjust the number of servers visible to 500 or less. There aren't that many anymore. Don't go to the China servers.
You can also go to #unofficial-isle-communities and see if they provide their IP and port to join that way.

Change your max results to a lower number. Currently I have mine set to 100. 100 to 500 should help you get real results, more than only the china servers. You can also go to #unofficial-isle-communities and find a community you are interested in and see if they publish their IP:Port for connecting to directly. From steam, you would right click on the game -> Properties -> Launch options - put: +connect IPaddress:PORT
Exampe +connect 192.168.1.230:7777

i have the same problem as the other two people but your advice has not worked for me sadly and i still get chinese servers. I’ve deleted the config folder as well and that has not worked. I’m specifically looking for The Dry Reef server and when I do search while my max results are set to 100 it continues to say “no servers found”, would you have any other ideas on how to fix this

I have this issue too, i cant refresh, or anything its forever loading, i do the 5000, etc and checks, but it seems the only option is to do iPs which is annoying,

even 150 is enough to find most of the servers in your region, alternatively just find IP of the server you want to join

Courting doesn't exist in the legacy version of the game. If you're playing evrima, do this

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Press the Windows key
3. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
4. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
5. Open the "Saved" folder.
6. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults.
7. Restart the game. The issues should be fixed.

Uh, I'm not sure how to put this, but when I try to hunt as a Tyrannosaurs Rex, the AI I kill disappear into thin air, and on all Chinese servers(I can only play on those ones due to being banned on Asura for playing underage at the time which was a few years ago) I am the same dinosaur in the same location in every Chinese server, Noobz doesn't pop up anymore nor does any other English server

And on the off chance, noticed there was a very hard to read message at the bottom of my screen, and i only captured it because i recorded it and looked at it frame by frame. Look at your Steam.
Click view top left corner.
Click Game Servers.
Click Favorites top left.
Bottom right, click the +.
Paste the IP.
Before hitting enter, make sure there is no space that added itself at the beginning or end.
Then hit Enter.

Keep in mind, this does NOT fix the search feature. It just makes it so you can join through Steam.

Once you've added it, simply double click it and wait for Isle to do its thing. It will join the server. Just let it think and dont touch anything.

theres no fix for it. the hackers took over the search. plus its broken and outdated. either have to keep tinkering with your search settings to find non chinese unofficial servers, or join by favoriting IPs to servers. Ai spawns are dependent on how full a server is. The more people on(over like 45), the ai spawns more for ppl who are actually hungry. Under that amount, ai doesn't care and spawns wether hungry or not. There is no adjusting ai spawns. "High AI" servers are false advertising.

when i start The Isle and try to join a server, all i see is servers with atleast 300 ping, and mostly china servers, whilst im stationed in europe. ive had this since i bought the game yesterday, and i do not use any VPNs, nor does my wifi network. my friend doesnt have this problem and he lives near me. what do i do?

Click view top left corner on steam. > Game servers > top left corner Favorites > bottom right corner +, paste the IP.
It will add it to your favorites and you can join from that window, rather than use the isle search.
When you click the one you want to join, don't press anything else. Just let the game think and it will throw you into the server.

I can’t seem to play Legacy without it crashing my PC. I can play Evrima fine, however, when I switch back to Legacy and try to play that my computer blue screens. Is there any way to fix this?

I already tried reinstalling the game, verifying file integrity, deleting the config file, uninstalling the game and deleting the entire Isle game folder then reinstalling it. I also switched to Evrima after re-installing the Isle and it could run just fine, but for some reason I can’t get past the loading screen in Legacy without it crashing my PC.

Edit: I also tried what the pinned message suggested what to with crashes in Legacy (deleting “The Isle” common folder and re-installing). It installed Evrima first, so I had switched to Legacy, and when it finished installing I still encountered a blue screen error.

Edit 2: I updated my GPU drivers but I’m still experiencing this issue.

When i open the isle legacy on steam it doesnt show me any servers,
When i check it with the steam app it doesnt show me any servers aswell.
Ive opened my firewall for both steam and the isle, i lowered the ping thing from automatic 5000 to 500. I closed my defender opened the game still didnt find any servers. I uninstalled the isle i have let it repair itsellf i even did a clean install for steam, nothing worked on it. And thats not even the evira issue as i cant get passed the blue loading screen 😅 unless the first go is supossed to take ages.

The legacy search is broken. Majority of the time it won't show servers except Chinese ones(don't join those).
You'd need to join servers with alternative ways without using the search, like favoriting their IPs and joining directly thru steam.

two diffs ways. you can do the +connect way which Kouga explains somewhere up there ^
or the way I join, is youd favorite the IP. youd press view top right corner of steam. Then Game Servers. Then make sure the Favorites tab is selected on the popup. Then bottom right corner press the +. There you will enter the IP and it will add it to your favorites. if it errors, try it again, but before hitting enter, make sure there is no sneaky space at the beginning of the IP. One likes to sneak in after being pasted.
