Some games make sequels. Some make DLC's and do regular updates, which is essentially the same for bringing in revenue. A "new" CotW on an up-to-date engine would definitely open up some interesting possibilities that aren't possible in the current game (crossplay, anti-cheats etc) but Call of the Wild is still fairly new and likely has a lot more content to come before they even consider making a brand new one (in my opinion)

i do think the map is sweden. i know i really pushed for saskatchewan, but i think its sweden for sure now. i also think itll have multiple waterfowl on the same map. goose is huge there, mallards obviously and fingers crossed a new addition.

Hmmmmm been looking at trophy mallards. Seems like if mallard is the GO it’s possible the difference might be color and curls. I don’t hunt duck irl so I have no context for this but looks like many hunters mount mallards if they have 3 curls in the tail feathers and the wing feather are a bright blue color.
