Here is what I’ve been thinking since before the clues about the next map. Given what EW has tried to focus on this year with cleaning up bugs and reworking some of the major systems…it’s incredibly unlikely that the next map would have a ton of new resources especially since the animation and species teams would have been greatly focused on the waterfowl rework. Doing that on top of a map with 5-6 new species would be a huge task. I think Jaxy was trying to say this in stream without actually saying it. So honestly a repeat map rn with some current species together would be ideal. Would you really want an AUS or Africa map rn if they couldn’t put 100% energy into making those new species?
