Yes actually its funny I had just got done watching lady legends video on the haggis and saw the info you guys gathered about feeding times . So i had set my time to 7 and went to start exploring. I had just went and started the mission called Homewrecker and went to Milk Saucer outpost and started wandering the mountain side when I got a warning call and saw it was a haggis and started freaking lol. I slowly crept up the mountain looking for it when I heard the call again it sounded like a screeching bird at the start then I heard the bagpipes that were previously mentioned. That's when I finally spotted it before it started to flee.

I am so pleased with the new map. Amazing landscape and scenery, fun animals to hunt and they did a great job creating hunting grounds that you can actually enjoy hunting on. Some of the latest maps are just way too thick. Scotland is open and you can easily spot animals, but the slopes and hills make for exciting surprises!

My perfect trophy would be a rare fur diamond lynx for example ! But typically players will be happiest with bigger trophies , gold rares are great!

Tbh I’m not that fussed about the species , most players are chuffed with anything it’s really about that diamond factor and rare furs

Nope, they are synced with the in game clock and the hands move. The ones in outposts that are in the areas the Haggis haven't been found don't move.

There's also flashing digital clocks that always say 00:00 in outposts outside Haggis Territory.

I doubt it is any overly complex mechanic right? Looking at it from a dev POV, they are seeing and gauging our reaction to this for the first time so it would be sensible to create a non-obvious easy to code mechanic? Almost certainly(?) tied to conpletetion of mission 2 and a second condition which has to have the ability to be triggered within a reasonable time frame (Stacies account).

I first felt like after completion of mission 2 there would just be a stupid low spawn RNG every time you load a session and that the previously unseen spawn mechanic is just that. But i was wondering what other factors could possibly affect it from a coding POV? I feel like some non-obvious things that are easy would be:

Spent 60 Minutes in session and have exactly 10 harvests.

Have a certain harvest history prior to spawn (certain variety of animals for example or something)

But yall have probably been over these options a million times i just hopped on here xD

But also doubt theres like a key mechanic that makes it spawn just maybe even allows the RNG for its respawn to run because otherwise you could just spam them maybe im being stupid though idk

Gonna be a pain to figure out what exactly else could contribute to it ESPECIALLY because its seemingly such a low requirement that triggers the RNG it is virtually impossible to track down the cause for it when it actually spawns and you then also actually find it later on. If its something that could happen to everyone and inconspicious

Went hunting at night two days ago, then I saw some capercaillies, I sneaked up on them and suddenly there was a scream, not one I know, very loud and nothing I recognized. I have all the maps and have been playing for several years. The birds flew away, I was startled at first, then I looked around with the night vision binoculars, saw nothing and heard nothing.
This doesn't give me peace 😉 now I'm reading everywhere that you should turn up the sound and music. I always play without music, now I turned on the music and 5 minutes later I hear music, like 5 seconds long, bagpipe music.
Now my question – is the music normal in the game?? I probably never played CotW with music, the music is there when you press pause, at least that's what I thought.
Does the music belong to the game? I just started and walked south to do the mission with the photos and the monster that's supposed to be in the lake.
