Morning is spent flushing Pheasant and Woodcock, while the rest of the day is spent in pursuit of Red Grouse, Mountain Hare, and the odd stag in the Highlands. Then it's Boar and Mink time and the pointer and I rinse and repeat. Love it! Perfect map for the Drilling Gun, too!

well i think the standing stones in talahm ard have to do with the haggis somehow but idk tbh, the folklore says haggis live in scottish highland only, and talahm ard in english is highland, only place on the map named that too, and the only landmark here is the standing stones, online in folklore it says standing stones are said to cast protective shadows under which the haggis find sanctuary. These stone circles and solitary monoliths are not merely historical relics but are believed to be charged with ancient energies that attract the haggis. If you go to the landmark the description says something about gazing at the moon, and the picture they posted of the haggis and the moon. Just seems too lined up to be coincidental…

im overall just too unfocused on it to set up the grinds
most the time its just find all drink zones, setup a travel tent 200+M away from a zone you like that has a good amount of females and males, 3/3+ , place a tripod 150M from it where u can see good, then place a pickup tent like 20M from the actual zone, and then you do that to 8 zones, and then just rotate on each zone, and kill a few males each time, always leaving at least one male. then u just repeat till G1
Other grinds require different zones, and it entails new challenges, like tahr for ex, in mountains bad visibility, only feeding,
and then some animals u dont even need all their zones like bear, on SRP you can just setup at top 5 lakes and kill every bear u see at those lakes and you can easily spawn G1, the bears are spawn trapped there,
its the herd managing that gets confusing, but HM is only if you want a lot of diamonds, it DOES not affect G1 spawn. G1 is purely Rng you can get one at 1 male harvest, or 4000 male harvests😂

I usually use herd management but I haven’t been doing it for the boars, it’s all RNG at that point

I usually hunt them at 17:00 that way they’re all in their feed zones (aka the feeders)

I found a joke article written a while ago about how to hunt haggis irl and they said that “If they get scared they will flee that place and never return. This is the reason why a haggis is rarely seen in the wild.

Could this 48 hours be the number 2 hint, like once spooked they won’t respawn for 2 in game days and they’re so rare because people are spooking them front scent without realising and then spend 2 days hunting them with no haggis on the map?
