I like with some of the great ones they have a little prehistoricness to them, Irish elk rack on fallow? Prehistoric. This striped fur variant for mule deer? Based off of the concepts from prehistoric crevines. The antlers? Also prehistoric in some ways. As someone who loves animals, the absurd and the prehistoric, these are the reasons great ones live up to their names for me.

Same with Mule Deer and White Tail. The GF and i have plans to buy 120 acres in a little over 5 years which lines up alongside a Wildlife management area where people can hunt. The GF gets 20 acres for the house, dogs and her "hobbies" and i get the rest of undisturbed land just for hunting. The trail cams on the land already show Deer, Elk, Moose, Black Bear and wolf in the area. So i have big plans for it in the future

It will make your save file not compatible with the previous version of the game but only if you already played on the new build. There is no certainty that your save file will be corrupted but you might be asked to restore it from a backup. If you want to fully avoid that, I would suggest waiting till Alberta launches tomorrow, download an update if there is be any, and then you should be good to go.
