I mod. But I never mess with spawn rates. I have 4 kids, one of them is special needs. My play time is very limited. So I get rid of the intro and increase walk speed slightly since the devs refuse to let us save our place on the map when we exit. I spent a month or more just walking back to where I was hunting when I first started only to have to get off and then walk back again. I wasted literally dozens of hours just retracing my steps on the map and it nearly killed the game for me.

The reality is that PC and console, and low end PCs, can never have an equal experience. Even the settings vary, and different settings can give you a visual advantage depending on how you play.

You can mod this. But it legit breaks graphics bad. There's a reason they have it set where they do. I messed with it for a sec and thought, no, I don't think so. The game engine has its limitations and the devs can't overcome them without changing the engine out.

No it isn't, you get so much per DLC with COTW, that's relatively clean. Some of Maxis' SIMS 4 expansion packs that are 50.00 USD breaks the vanilla game, and are virtually unplayable. So a 6 - 11.00 USD DLC is nice in comparison.

I know it isn't a realistic game, but seeing 10+ male lions in the same little region of the map just doesn't work for me.

But Tigers will either be very annoying, or interesting.

That feels somewhat reasonable

id be cool if we could get the things ppl use irl to ward off tiger attacks (masks on the back of the head) to make them do a charge that they abort first, for free. dog would alert you ahead of time and the entire time a tiger is around, so its still the premimum option, but other wise youd still have smth else

Coyotes with Collars I don’t shoot. I’ve shot lots of others, but I refuse to shoot any animal with a tracking collar on. Seen those on elk before…that would cost me a fortune if I shot one.

Most of the time they’re tracking collars to figure out what the animal is up to and to test scientific data. Interfering with that can be a HEFTY fine.

See here in Idaho if an animal kills your livestock you can defend them no matter the season or animal. The only exception is Grizzly Bears, where unless it’s a direct threat to your life you’re required to call Fish & Game to come handle it.
