Using the .22lr against turkey or the .308 against literally any class 4 animal is a decent way of getting score

I recommend pronghorn, whitetail and sika as you can usually find large herds of them

Grinding red deer on Xbox one, would go to main menu screen now and then to help get herds in to drink zone, it worked well on Xbox one, got an Xbox series s, now herd just seem to trickle in to drink zones through out run, will go to main menu and come back and helps sometimes, but sometimes it’s like all the animals go away, have to go through run 2 or 3 times to catch all the animals as they trickle in, any suggestions how to get them to come in to drink zones quicker like I could on Xbox one?

well, this depends on a lot of things, your weapon, where you hit the animal, perks, your strategies, and the most important, your accuracy, (which can be improved with perks/skills and time in-game)

but, you should try to find a group of people to play with, most perferable a more experienced player, you should also work on your aim.

to maybe take an animal down in one shot, or having it die without it running halfway across the map, try to hit either, its spine/vertabrae, the lungs, and heart, yes you can go for headshots but it depends on which animal you're hunting.

if you inspect the need zone it should tell you a time, and what animal uses it, sometimes need zones are used by different animals and different times.

as expected need zones are near lakes, and such, rest zones are usually near trees, and sometimes inside of a treeline. feeding zones can be anywhere really.

but, in my opinion go to a lake and try to find a watering zone, because you can get usually around 2-5 and rarely 7 animals there, try to be at the time of that need zone, if your too far behind, or ahead of that time, either sleep or try to find other need zones that are used at the time your in

Diamonds come at some of the most random times unless you have a designated grind setup. As far as harvesting the animal instantly, make sure you’re using the correct ammo type for that lvl animal, aim right behind the front leg (kinda in the armpit area) and you’ll get an easy double lung! Vital shots are the most important!

guys, the animals get scared above 300 meters is it a bug? Or is it part of the update? honestly this is horrible, sometimes I can barely visualize the animal and he is already alert and on the run

Those sound pretty good to begin with, although I'd recommend you get saseka safari lodge instead of spring creek manor, just because it has more space. Also if you've got the cash to buy a weapon pack as well, the modern weapons pack is probably the best one to get because it has a .22 and the best 4-8 rifle in the game.
