So on consol (xbox and ps4 & ps5) you dont need tent and ATV dlc's like you would on PC (which is good) I suggest buying a DLC called "modern rifle" which has every class gun besides class 9. However, class 9 guns you can buy without any other DLC's so its okay. Here's a list of helpful things you can buy:

Maps: Yukon, Emerald coast, Aisky ridge, Sundaraptan, and silver ridge peaks.

Guns: Modern rifle DLC

Other useful stuff: Tri-pod and tree stand DLC comes in useful

Another useful tip is dont always hunt in just 1 spot. Builds up hunting pressure which is not good. Try to pick a few good zones to hunt so hunting pressure (purple and pink spots) will appear on the map whenever you kill a animal

You used to be able to bypass that by deleting the game then reinstalling. It should install the update along with the fresh install. At least, that’s the old method. Haven’t had to do that for years lol could be different now. Worth a shot at least. If you have all your data backed up nothing should get funky.

It can be useful for deer and any other species if you don’t fancy drink zone hunting, at certain points you may also get a variety of species feeding at that one spot provided you have the right feed

There are areas with very dense foliage around the drink zones so In some cases it’s absolutely easier to use feeders

Whatever suits you and whatever fits the situation i say

Ok I have 38 fallow zones in Tera.. I have tents and tripods on 17 herd zones which I cycle through. I haven’t killed a single diamond and still have males either jumping zones or not respawning and I’ll get female herds I then have to cull. What am I doing wrong

you need to manage down your solo males to level 1 or 2

you’ll always have to deal with jumpers, that’s just part of the game

some species/maps the jumpers aren’t too bad

if you want to speed up how fast your exteriors get shot down you can try swapping solos with small stags from your main zone, shoot them, leave them on the ground and main menu, they have a 50/50 chance of swapping

or you can stack diamonds/max weights in your main zone to help the chances of a smaller respawn in the solos

lungs are much easier to hit than the brain on any animal. use the shotgun slugs if you’re new, but save up for the 7mm as it has amazing pierce. sometimes bears will stand on their hind legs while Attentive or Alert, and this makes a lung shot extremely easy. so try to get their attention without making them flee.

I wanna start experimenting with other animals tho on diff maps, like elk and bison

Javelinas are cool to shoot when in big groups on cuatro colinas
