If you deadzone an area, those zones do move elsewhere in their potential areas. But as you continue to hunt (elsewhere now since you scared off all the animals in the original spot), you create new pressure and the previous deadzone starts to fade. As soon as it isn't a deadzone anymore animals can spawn there again when you move a zone

What's your weapon of choice to fend off attacking wolf packs? I don't know anymore about the .454 I don't have the hand gun score for the flat nose bullets but the expansion on the hallow points isn't enough they don't bleed out fast enough circle and still attack before dieing. Anyone have any good suggestions? Maybe a 20 or 16 gauge with buck shot?

There is a buffer zone around 150 meters when you spawn into a tent or outpost that animals in that range won't render until you leave that area basically so a mountin lion was near when you teleported in but isn't rendering and that's why you hear it but don't see it

I don't know the exact range but there is a range between right in front of the tent and 250 that the animals will spook but won't render.

If you want bow score use that, just have health packs in your quick use wheel

They'll die quick to the 70lb bow

Crossbow will kill them faster

Thank you and that will level my bow score imma try it out and that recurve is only 2 pounds.. I have never purchased or used the health packs honestly like my health and getting knocked out isn't that bad for me. And normally I'm jumped at the tent its just when I've shot a wolf 4 times and he's still jumping and attacking and circling and his 4 friends and now I have 2 rounds and now I'm knocked out. Then that process repeats 2 or 3 times until they finally bleed out and die. And I'll even pass harvest checks so I know I'm hitting vitals. So just looking to okay bam bam bam bam bam okay 20 seconds of dodge dead... instead lol

Use the houyi 70lb, the arrows are bigger with recurves too. The health packs are so you can heal over and over so you can kill the whole pack or until they run. The biggest wolf, the alpha, leave it til last as the pack runs more often if you kill the alpha
