Leave all the iron in each crypt (closest room to entrance with a chest) and just teleport out all the non-iron. Repeat until whole swamp cleared.

Then do a single sprinting session going back and forth from crypt to boat until all iron from swamp is loaded into boat.

It's a percentage stat given by flametal armor, not the named damage modifier from sources such as barley wine. It reduces damage taken and increase safe time in lava and ashlands water.

The cultist attack creates an aoe instance which ticks multiple times before it is destroyed. Staggering the cultist will not destroy this instance.

It's probably not designed specifically to keep damaging players who stagger the enemy, that's just a side effect of the way it's made, but because this attack uses an aoe instance where similar attacks might use melee hitboxes the behaviour is different to what the player would expect

What should I get before I fight bonemass? I've defeated it before but that was like 2021/22. I just remember poison resist and blunt. Are there any arrows that are good against it?

Use an iron mace, he resists slash and pierce but is weak to blunt

I like fist weapons but I prefer spears in the mountains. I feel mountains is all about range unless you wanna skirmish a stone golem

With Iron Brooch & Bonemass combined, you can just kick a stone golem, parry their attack, and swing away.

You're not supposed to rush into enemies when u r using battleaxes, hammers, etc
U just time your attacks according to enemies who are rushing to u.
It's a more counter oriented weapon rather than fully offensive like fist, dagger, spears, etc.

U can take away 1 stone for now and free place one 1x1 piece in the Middle then place the wooden slope to that so the wide beam u have stickning trough it now goes under the darkwood beam, then delete the 1x1 and keep placing the sloped beams and put in stone again

The one to the left is 1x1 stone so replace that one with the wooden slope

Or just build a full flat roof with stones and iron beams as support like a castle. Stone wall with wood roof are not always suitable together IMO.

It's not necessary for progression and the worth depends on individual. I personally like to craft it tho.

Thing with antler is that you can make 3 of them for kinda like extended durability and easier repair in workbench but it takes 3 item slots by doing that.

But if you happen to find any Leviathans during your first trips, having bronze pickaxe is nice for bit faster mining and possibly getting more chitin.

Almost every process continue even when you're not on the same active area, the only exceptions that require player in active area are animal taming and their breeding.

Don't waste stamina by running constantly during combat in middle of enemies.
Let bigger mobs damage smaller mobs while fighting.

I think not too significant.
Higher sneak reduces the stamina usage for sneaking, also makes slightly harder to be seen while sneaking I think (I haven't sneaked too much to notice differences), but troll vs. bronze armor has only 6 armor difference at same quality. Troll armor also doesn't give any ms penalty.

2 handed weapons generate adrenaline easier in my experience, like atgeir secondary or battleaxe, as staggering enemies and hitting staggered enemies generate more adrenaline too.

I like battleaxes a lot, but it's not everyone's jam due to being bit slower. You could try finding the wooden battleaxe in ruins in mountains to learn the attack patterns of them and decide later. There are now more battleaxes after mountains.

The stats of battleaxes might not seem too impressive at first, but they have higher stagger for their primary swings and quick secondary stab that provide good control against groups, plus primary attacks have no multitarget penalty so they're deal good damage when hitting multiple targets.

You eventually get a tool that can harvest more, but until then, it's one by one.

I find if you farm as follows, it's not too bad.

moving sideways and click-planting in a regular rhythm the timing works out to be pretty much perfectly spaced and a nice straight row.
Then, when harvesting - hold down your 'action' button and just walk forward down the row and you'll plink plink plink pick em right up. Takes a little practice to become efficient, but not too long really.

Do be careful though, if an enemy does too much damage, you cannot block or parry ANY of their damage. That's mostly an issue if you're biome skipping / using old gear / playing higher difficulty though.

hello there, first timer talking here and new to valheim. So my friend and i are at the point of the game where we started our journey to the ashlands, we came across a bit of landmass, only to realise it was a teenie-tiny island, so we have to go further into ashlands... even if its a tiny bit of land, we get completly obliderated by all the enemies spawning there, we have alot of struggle to even breath on that lil shitty island, i plead for some advice or else this is becoming frustrating.. its already frustrating enough that we landed on this lil mini island

our gear is basically full lvl 2 carapace armor, we run mistwalkers, one uses eiktyr blessing, one bonemass, we have alot of decent food, for some reason frostner is doing poor dmg and we really dont know how to continue further without getting frustrated

even the WAY there was pure struggle that even vultures completly destroyed our drakkar

You could make 2nd upgrade for black forge to upgrade your gear to quality 3. Have you crafted mechanical springs? That unlocks the upgrade.
By decent foods you mean mistlands tier food, correct?
Frostner, while being mountain tier weapon, can be useful against warriors for its knockback, giving space. If you have silver sword it deals higher damage against charred.
You might find having some AoE weapons useful, like Demolisher or Himminafl.

It also depends on luck how good spot you'll find, sometimes the landmass can be found rather close so it can be seen from the edge of the spicy water.

Ashlands are meant to stress u out. It is the land of death.
U have to prepare lots of stuff to travel across it. And even then, u can die easily when u get jumped.

currently lvl 2 carapace armor set, black metal parry shields, mistwalkers, for heavier attacks we both have a Krom, my friend also uses frost staff

U need at least carapace tier shield to be able to parry consistently. Otherwise, you'll be in trouble when your max health has decreased.
Get your friend a slayer asap. Krom is really punishing to use in ashlands.
Tell your mage friend to always save mana for making barrier when the frontliner's barrier broke.

The thing with Slayer is that they haven't gotten too far yet after getting on land.

U on front parrying attacks
Your claymore friend attack when enemy is staggered
Your mage friend focus on spawning undead for aggro management and barrier to keep both of u alive. Attackin with spells is optional when he has extra mana.

Mist tier shield is enough to parry most attacks. While krom is not enough to parry almost all attacks.

Mistwalker is also very good for ashland. No need to make nidhog until u get the gems to upgrade it.

To add to Vinny's statement, if you want faster juice I recommend finding an area with a few roots (maybe like 3), putting an extractor in each, and once the roots start to go dry go to another area with 3 and use those instead. Once those go dry, go back to the first area as it's probably back up by now

I choose dvergr towers that have roots close by, then put one extractor per set of roots at each tower, then rotate them between the roots at each tower. Giving them plenty of time to regenerate. Of course I have a portal inside of each tower, to make going around to each set of roots fast.
