Honestly, I wouldnt obliterate or delete it. Use it a backup set of armor you use if you need to corpse run. Yeah its a shame it got duped, but you can always utilize it as a backup set

In my last playthrough up to Ashlands I used the abyssal razor up til plains, where I finally replaced it with a black metal knife. Was in a tad of a hurry, so I avoided mining as much as possible, worked out just fine.
Plus I like having a harpoon, it's nice for various shenanigans.

Also could be you aren't using srgb color profiles in color management (windows 11). Custom color profiles aren't respected by steam so if you've darkened things on your monitor through windows color management, steam will use the output prior to those effects being applied.

I found a 2 star boar quite early on in this play trough and boxed it in very secure so nothing can easily get to it.

you seem to be lacking in aoe options. Ashlands gets much easier with Demolisher or the staff of embers in your hotbar.
Also the big ball of asksvin, morgen and lava blob is pretty much a self-solving problem because of friendly fire.

staff of embers twoshots twitchers and marksmen at ~50 elemental skill on normal.

i'd recommend it, it's pretty much the best weapon for it until you get the Ashlands staves imo

funny thing i only used 3 xd "staff of wild" trollstav" and shield staff xd, but when other mobs came i had to clean with fire aoe but for boss mainly 3 😛

The blunt damage from the Staff of Embers also works as well. Fader may be resistant to the fire, but the blunt damage from the impact he isnt immune to

true that but the staff of wild is so insane u can spawn as many as u have eitr for it and maxed staff it does 100-200+poision on hit so had like 5-7 spawned and took 30 % hp in 5 seconds xd

yea but felt like he had little resistance to it cause didnt get it on him so often even with 5 spawned on him but he was rooted few times. but he also like to charge at you even with two golems spawned on him with trollstav wich made it abit harder

So he does get rooted. During my attempts against him I kept hearing the rooted sound but I could never figured out if it was him or the troll from trollstav.

If he gets rooted then melee is a lot more feasible as he's essentially unable to do anything (if you attack from sides or back)

i was thinking exact same if it was the troll that got rooted but both moved fine but fader didnt and also didnt attack during that so seemed to work with rooting. yea feel like melee should be better if combining right with the food for stamina eitr hp so u have enough to do all and maintain control

First time fighting her, and I don't usually use swords so I may not have the best input, but it did pretty good.

I struggled at first because I didn't know her moves and the slow attack speed of the sword was kinda dreary, but after I learned her moveset I was able to roll behind her and heavy attack after one of her attacks, and light her up with reuglar attacks after parrying her at other times

The only "problem" I've encountered is with trying to put 2 or more arch pieces on top of the same pillar. But that's normal with a lot of building. The pillars stack just fine and the walls and roofs are much better than in the beta. And it's not hard to free place the arch pieces, just takes a couple seconds to get it lined up.

No wind, too close to trees, to close to each other, not build high enough, there could be a few reasons.
First make sure there is wind and then try and build them somewhere else or facing a different direction.

Anything within ~30m (of the top and sides, depending on wind direction) affects the windmills efficiency. Also black forests tend to have lower wind speed than mountains or plains (which have the highest average wind speeds).

Use both. Use the pick to bring the ground to mostly level, and then you use a hoe to flatten it properly. The hoe can only change so much up or down, but it will make it more explicitly even than the pickaxe will. The hoe is also the only way to raise the ground.

just relogged into the game to hear breaking noises when in the general area of this test. the game updated and broke off the extra 2 blocks that were on the iron wall side. I don't know if the several minutes weren't enough time when I originally made the test, but later it evened out copper vs iron for vertical support of stone...guess i need to give my potato PC more time to process 🤷

Nearly unraidable, and mostly indestructible base if you build above the stones. Nothing can damage them, and the only raid that will do and serious damage is the drakes, and maybe the bats.
