I think this is a reasonable thing to want and if one day we had more control over how the world generates I think that is only a positive thing. If I had to guess the world height will probably never be increased but I'm just guessing.

I don't have much time to check each channel, but this is one of the few I do read each and every day.

I think you might want to reconsider because even while the game is still being worked on, mods can help people make suggestions for the normal game and experience how their suggestions would play out if they were in the game. Mods also mean more people will play Valheim which is just a nice thing. If that's how you feel about it though then all is good.

Lots of people play modded and go back to normal when new biomes comes. Then go back to modded when they need more spices. Neither is "right" or "wrong", its just preferences.

i actually had so much fun using tower shields and sword for a full run, there's a surprising amount of fun strategy to lining up a sword cleave and towers

On default difficulty the flametal tower can block a two star warrior even with Asksvin armor.

if you ever feel stuck on bow because you die otherwise, defnitely just eat lots of health food and use towers to experience melee more, then you also learn the timings of things by when your shield goes WOMP and soon you're parrying or dodging the attacks instead

a. They make you invincible.

Yeah the swamps are the first real difficulty spike compared to the first two biomes, but you will adjust quick enough I'm sure.

I usually do as big a circle a circle as I can around the border of the swamp, making sure I can see crypts. Then build a net work of roads.

Yeah it's true they are less effective against charred, but they do fine against Morgen since they hit fast, possibly proccing the lightning more frequently, plus Morgen resists all physical damage types anyway.

a mace can help in swamp for skeletons and blobs but their base health is so low that slash still works well
you will really want one for the third boss though
