But an even better source is the Viaducts you see around - the tall stone structures like a T shape. They give 40-100 iron bars (not scraps) - so they are amazing. You just use a stone cutter to pull them down (and an axe or forge to destroy the 2x iron supoport). Then they collapse in loads of iron (and some copper)

Iron axe is not necessary upgrade, you can use bronze still in plains. Pickaxe is needed in next biome to be able to mine materials.

Yeah it’s usually best to terraform first then build the structure if you are going that route, and using the flatten option too

mace (blunt) has the least mobs resistant to it, the most mobs weak to it, and you have frostner in that class, which is one of the most relevant weaps in the game (it performs well/very well throughout many biomes)

Yeah I’d say bows outperform maxes, bows have a lot more options for elemental damage, bow skill is arguably the strongest weapon skill in the game

Berries, red mushroom and carrots will do.

But you need to remain out of sight to make sure you don't see the exclamation mark over its head, yet close enough for you to have it "under your influence".

Meaning putting a small wall or something like that up and sneak behind it may do the trick.

As long as it isn't alerted, it won't attack you and it will be tamed. Also means, no fires nearby until they're tamed.

There are 3 NPC's right now. You will encounter one in the 2nd, one in the 3rd biome and one in the 1st biome, but close to the 5th.

if i stay in the game then i will actually try to search for some arena servers to see whats going on with that subject. I think its like not possible that this kind of gameplay don't exist in game that works well with PvP. Either game is weak at PvP or those servers already exist

Or maybe a third option: those servers existed years ago and now people are just going to other games

I just don't see a reason to grind for tousant hours, explore this giant world, build 69 bases and castles just to still sit alone in dead world inhabitated by only myself. At the end i need to have that other person that will come, see what i've created and get beaten by me. Otherwise it doesn't make sense

They are very inaccurate with those throws, you can just ignore them when they throw - usually taking one step sideways or not moving at all is enough... and kill them when they walk up

That depends on situation, I used Huntsman for a long time for silent sniping and against Queen I mostly used Draugr Fang for stamina reason. But Spinesnap will be definitely be used a lot in Ashlands next.

That to be said, Huntsman bow is really good and highly underrated for it's smaller noise area it produces when hitting targets, alerting less enemies.

Okay, there is much easier way to do that. You could let them lay few eggs in the area you tamed them and move the eggs to the desired destination.

Make sure your pit is well spawn-proofed. last thing you want is monsters spawning around it once it’s in the pit and messing with it.

Yeah, it is quite small time you have when trying to get taming process starting especially if dawn is approaching. But having the taming pit ready with right foods in there, dragging the Asksvin with a harpoon and going a bit further so it loses aggro and start to eat and it should go fine.

I'd say even 1 star should be enough, 2 star is just extra.

Especially when they can spawn with 1 star during daytime too.

Stars make quite difference. Enemies get +50% damage and +100% hp per star. Regular asksvin has 800hp, 1 star 1600hp and 2 star 2400hp.

Don't remember the damage numbers but 2 star one is quite hefty damage dealer, first time taming one ever got me almost killed during the PTB.

Even on clear sailing days other islands are only distantly visible. Storms destroy any sense of direction.

yes - world gen is a fully understood concept. You can find maps as a subset of any given location of the master map.

and from there generate random subsets of a given location to tweak it to suit
