Good in prolonged fights so you are basically casting the whole time the mead is active, the instant replenish is better for running around and needing a sudden eitr spike for some reason, like quickly being able to cast a troll as a distraction so you can get away or a few roots to clear some space around you so you can cast shield.

ok, don't worry too greatly about those for now, however, if you do make any weapoms, don't upgrade them.

Infact, if you like Mistwalker I'd suggest just sticking with that for now.

It is nice if you will be casting almost non stop for the 5 minutes it is up and you can potentially regen more eitr than 250 (2 times a eitr mead).
If all you are doing is running around at full eitr it is a waste.

Also spikes of 125 can be nice, that means a troll if you have some blod magic levels and can really be a lifesaver.

Yeah, stick with Mistwalker for now. If you like heavy armour, then consider making the Flametal set. Likewise consider making the Flametal Shield or Tower, depending on preference.

Yes and no, depends on the situation and terrain amongst other things.
If you don't want to fight them and just distract them a eitr mead would be more interesting for quickly getting a troll out so they will focus on that.
If you do want to fight them and still have a bubble, lingering would be more interesting since you will be spamming staff of growth for example.

Nidhogg is the flametal one-handed sword, but it's barely worth making until you get gems.

It depends on the situation and such, for a boss fight probably lingering for exploration you'll have to gauge what would be best.

Mistwalker is a very fine weapon for mistlands until you get gems from fortresses.
Depending on what you prefer berserker axes, Nidhogg and the bows are all good options to use your first flamemetal on.

Yeah if you just finished a fight and have some breathing room, popping a lingering, getting more skeletons back up faster and still have it running when you get into the next fight is certainly a good use of it.

Do remember that if you make a weapon before you get gems do not upgrade it, the materials will be wasted since it gets reset to level one once you put a gem to a weapon.

the swamp is the first skill check in the game, it sucked when i first got there my first playthrough but now i run in there with troll armor, a bronze mace, and a bronze buckler and im fine. I use two stamina foods and one health

you dont have to run from wraiths. Even with swamp armor you should be able to take them fairly easily. Just block/ parry and roll.

It's not as annoying as the swamp because you have draugrs, skeleton, maybe leech right if you're unlucky and some swamps just have like upwards of 5+ spawners which would be 10x harder to whack

the swamp will hit you with debuffs and close quarters on the regular, learning to counter them will make your valheim-based life a breeze.

if you're smelting black metal, it might be worth it to circle back into the mountains and pick up a bit of silver. a simple sword should do for dominating the dead, or if you're really hungering for a cool weapon, frostner. say hi to Haldor.

you can climb atop crypts to 1v1 those pesky wraiths btw!

Plains was my second PTSD after swamp because we got cocky and thought it wasnt anything major (we lost everything and couldnt get back)

My experience with plains has been okay, like its kinda difficult for me and we died a few times to the berserks because this one village had 5 berserks. But its not nearly as daunting as the swamp

lure the fulings to tar pits if there are any nearby. you can also snipe the berserkers from a far and take them out, ive beat a whole camp with just a fine wood bow, fire arrows, and troll armor

Oh yeah its just that one time we got cocky and thought there was only one, we expected to just take it out with sword and got jumped with 5 berserks

Plains is not nearly as bad as swamp the atmosphere and half the creatures giving me the ick just throws me off SO bad

There's so much more silver spawn rate than metal or black metal ever is

So we got full silver gear after mining 3 nodes

move slowly, and you will always hear drakes and wolves before you see them. keep a bow close, they have low health and high damage.

you can leap atop a golem's head and mine it to death with your pickaxe, if you get a ledge and have good balance.

nighttime brings the werewolves. avoid like the plague.

silver veins spawn in a Y pattern. unearth them entirely! and as a bonus you can use the pit for shelter.

Drakkar has much higher acceleration rather unintuitavely, but longship has a very slightly higher top speed

And the amount of material needed to craft and upgrade the Fenris set it pretty high. I think a fully upgraded Fenris set is probably the hardest fully upgraded set to get if not using any world modifers or mods or map generator, just Vanilla/blind playthru

Their spawn modifiers are night and storms. Avoid the deeps if either of those are occurring. I would just recommend to follow the coast line though, since you're using the small boat

Yeah you should be able to take a serpent with a fine wood bow, use regular or flint arrows and make sure you're sailing with the wind so it has to catch up

Only the host of a self-hosted server can use devcommands; admin commands are a separate thing and don't include nocost build commands. I'd suggest changing the modifiers of the world itself to allow for free build instead.
