Just completed the game! What a fantastic game this is. Had so much fun with my freinds. The only downside is when it's done, thats it really 😦 no doubt ill start a solo world in a week or so 😄 This is better than most AAA games these big companies make. Devs should be proud of themselves 🙂

as stated previously, go heavy armor + ember staff, alternatively, you might also find triple eitr with 4 skellies + bubble helpful while you support from a distance with the other staves. ice staff is indeed terrible for dps, but the slow sometimes can be useful as a support to help your allies (skeletons). Ember staff is much more effective -- the aoe and damage over time make a pretty big difference

you can unlock most of the ashlands mage gear with relatively little flametal, and unlocking ashlands tier weapons greatly changes the landscape

You can disable bat raids by never killing Bonemass, using stagbreaker or iron sledge method to get silver. You can disable drake raid by killing Moder, now your island is safe, thats what I did current playthrough! (For Bonemass buff you could bring a trophy from another world over, this should not enable the raids that occur after killing Bonemass, it has worked for me so far)

the live version is fine imo, still a bit of challange on normal (if you go there for the first time) but really nothing crazy, and if someone feel its too hard or easy there are hecking world modifiers for that

I make the full troll set because the defense difference to bronze is much smaller than other light armor - heavy armor differences and I like being able to move. Also, troll hide is much easier to get than bronze and can be obtained earlier

I think Mistlands spawn rate is too high. The jump in spawn rate from other biomes to Ashlands, at equal difficulty, is too high imo

Going in with fully maxed out Mistlands gear and you're at a significant risk

With a hunstman bow you can attract a small group of fulings to fight. Don’t try to aggro the whole camp, or you will die.

Draugr fang is louder so it will attract a larger group

all ore deposits and large rocks will float if you remove the terrain from underneath. if you do this completely and hop on top while picking at it, it will "pop", dropping all ore after several hits without mining the entire thing.

looking at the upgrade chart on wiki, it is cheeper to have 2 lvl1 pickaxe (for iron used) than a single fully upgraded one.... 40 iron for 2(lvl1) vs 80iron for 1 (full upgrade)

then i got a anothe swamp with 48 crypts...

5 high double wall, 48 tiles long just nuked 2400 stone, i see why people would rather spend 300 stone just raising the ground
