Sorting the list would be a big help already.

I'm also wishing there was some sort of snapping feature for farming. When I was a kid, my parents used to use a string of twine stretched out to mark a straight line for garden rows, and would have a stick or something to "measure" the spacing. I guess we can lay down beams and then remove them after planting. That's probably the way to do it.

Yeah, if you’re really adamant about having perfect lines in your farm, that’s probably the best vanilla way to do it.

Thats a great question, I don't have an answer but I get almost sad if a house doesn't have the nicely build basement, you digging out to prepare for it, making sure nothing above looses stability, testing if you can make it another stone block bigger on a side, its peak builder satisfaction for me haha.

I've got a long hallway with braziers in it. Just above head level.
Bats are flying in through that hallway and dying of smoke+burn in the main room

You're long past for the first ones.

If you make a narrow path with a bend at the end, no attack from Yagluth can get you there and for other mobs it will be a chokepoint and they can't get in easily.
If you want to put more work into it, build up to the altar with stone and put a iron gate in so other mobs can't really get into your safe zone.
Though the stone and gate might break during Yagluth fight if you fight close to it.

I kinda feel bad in my current group playthrough I and the owner were annoyed with one of the players for cleaning out two mountain before we've done Bonemass. But in my defense we're doing communal playing so I have a very legitimate reason to start stockpiling the barely ahead of time since we're gonna need so much for all of us 😂

If you generated the structure, and with it the chest, before the update which brought Early Axes then it would not have either of the axe heads. Only structures/chests in them generated after the update will have them.
