Sounds neat! I guess it kinda depends on how you interpret the Gjall? Personally I’d probably make it like a CR8 creature. Give it some sort of fire AoE attack action and summon some mobs. To keep it interesting, I’d probably give it some other tricks; maybe a poison “breath”, attempt to intimidate via the loud horn sound it makes, maybe a simple long ranged tentacle attack.

for me its just his attack speed. if u dodge roll u can hit him ONCE maybe, if you parry maybe twice, no combos. if your only weapon on you is early axes literally you can't fight him because swing recovery is too long to hit and dodge and you cant parry him

I finally kilt that danged Fader DED. My group just ftiggin released him with no planning. Tried magic, no dice. Tried farming asksvins, had 7 adults and about 30 juveniles when Fader just decided to come over and kill them all! So Viking fury set in. Tons of stamina potions, fire potions, healing potions flew down the throats of Norsemen. I stood on the green beasts neck and relentlessly beat it while my companions pin cushioned the beast with charred bolts. The battle was awesome, long and challenging. I wish all bosses were that hard but the last one, Fader, was a blast. I guess We will come back when the game is finished. Valheim was awesome in VR.

And if a computer crashes hard while saving the character file, it's very easy for it to become corrupted.

bronze holds that sharp edge longer, but what happens when that edge fails?
bronze fails much more catastrophically then iron

i have like medium hardness santoku that dulls but can be sharpened easily, and i have crazy hard and sharp nakiri that god help me if anything happens to it

so by durability i mean like.. at least in video game terms how long til you need to go to your table and go bam bam better

so softer would be less durable imo

like i know all about how/when/why transitioning from bronze to steel and global politicals and supply etc. it just shocked me to think of bronze as not soft, but maybe im forgetting it didnt go bronze to plain old pure iron to steel, it was more of a transition and went from more like bronze to hardened tempered better iron or steel

i just always find bronze gear so cool, the color and how they could just melt it down again and recast it so easily, imagine how awesome an army of bronze looked

that's a fine way since much of the new content is found as soon as the Meadows, did a character when Call To Arms came out just to check how far i could go with the new black forest armor, "gave up" in late mountains, maybe i could do a bit more, but Fenris Set's bonus on claw weapons was too tempting

i always check every angle of the meadows in starting island, so i always get 'em before even seeing a pine, but always found lots of bronzes and very fewer irons... for how i play that's a bit game breaking (mainly for so easy so soon tons of finewood), if it was for me i'd gate the thing to the forge, but there are so many playstiles i wouldn't even suggest it

apart from finding them = being able to chop birch and oak trees very early on? nah I'd suggest it any day

yeh before finewood was bound to at least risk your life a bit in the black forest, or finding a very rare shipwreck (wich iirc are mapradius-bound so you'd have to risk crossing dangerous biomes anyway)

I need to work on the basics of technique and getting a proper "feel" for when it looks right. I'm not used to doing that with baking as I generally view baking as a science (weights, glass non-reactive containers, etc.).

I used to make my own GF flour blend with oat + buckwheat + brown rice flours.

The oat flour helped bind it and the buckwheat gave it a nice "whole wheat" feeling. Brown rice because, well, it seemed to fit in for a good filler and nutty flavour.
