I'd allow them more time than usual. Pretty sure SMiffe has indicated they are doing much more in house testing, to the point where there might not even be a play test for 1.0. I imagine if thats the route they go, it could take MUCH longer than previous new biomes. So its probably best if we expect 2027, and just be extra happy if it ends up being this year.

During their work time in Iron Gate they focus on Valheim, currently producing the last biome content and 1.0 update.

But I say we shall see.

where i first landed in the ashlands was crazy, atleast 18 nodes of flamemetal within 400meters of the beach, i landed basically right on fader arena as well, then every fortress ive found has been close to more flamemetal, it got to the point where i just didnt bother mining them anymore ive walked past over 20 nodes that are still full but theres no point of getting them

Well, I landed on top of Fader, and plenty of food around, but the Flametal has been uncommon, and only found two citadels so far. My last play through had much more of everything, but it took a lot to find Fader too. No complaints, though, these differences are what makes replaying Valheim worth it to me.

the first 1 star i tamed decided to 1v1 a 1 star morgen and got decimated that was tragic

even before ash my mountain and plains were so easy this time, both bosses on the same island as well as mountain mini boss and a tetra lake cave!!! i was shocked, moder even had 5 eggs close by lmao i didnt have to boat any of them

hello how do i stop getting instances if i play multiplayer modded, when i play i get like 20k instances after i use a portal and its unplayable

Lava blobs are currently only enemies that alter terrain when they explode, so they can "destroy" earth walls.

Most mobs can be stopped by just a meter or two as long as the walls are straight up and down. Flyers and blob types are the only things you have to worry about until Ashlands. Where the one blob can actually destroy raised earth.

Using them around your base in weak biomes is not the same as having a pack run with you in whatever biome you want to take them to. Which you can do with wolves, but none of the others. You can only ride one.

Even if you see it as forced, it doesn't feel forced because it's all forward progression other than a single Quesh siderail in Chapter 3.

SI has so many siderails that break the forward progression and take you out of what you're doing for a single, usually useless, thing.
