Maybe it shouldn't be said, but then, we all know that 99.99% of the members here have just scrolled through the rules. If they have been looking at that channel at all. Which also means that the one who did the pinning wasn't "aware" of what (s)he did and at that point pointing out it isn't the right thing to do isn't that bad.

But imho there's no need to tell people who point that out that it's back-seat moderating; as when you look at things like that, even redirecting someone to the right channel can be considered s back-seat moderating.
Which should mean we should have about 50 more moderators to make sure there's someone present every second of the day.
After all, seeing how often people needs to be redirected to the right channel - and in particular the "servers and lfg" and the "Mods discussion" channel, a single moderator already has a full time job by doing that.

And somehow I don't think any moderator here will like to do that. Especially since they got a full time job already.

The only annoying aspect of the Mistlands is finding a space to plant the mushroom garden given how much of the land there isn't cultivatable.

Mistlands doesn't have problems. The players have a problem with it.

In general players refuse to stop and listen once in while; while being in a biome you can't see more than 10 meters ahead.
They keep sprinting, even when noticing the wisp light isn't able to keep up; then complain about the wisp light not being able to keep up.
They want to jump up to the higher ground, refuse to take a pause, don't look around them, jump down and complain when they need to jump up on the next ledge; which they had been able to avoid if they had looked around and noticed the ledge they were on is descending in a valley to their right.

Players are so used to the good to excellent visibilty and traversing they have in the previous biomes, they forgot that Valheim isn't flat either.
Each biome we had up to Mistlands is a preparation to Mistlands. The climbing and jumping in the mountains, the fog in the plains and the black forest, the stamina drain of the swamps; it's all been a preparation. Even the snow storms in the mountain were.

But the moment it's all combined, the biome all the sudden has problems......

I'm not the best player in this game, but when I look at my deaths in Mistlands, most are done inside the infested mines or when fighting the Queen.
I think there's one done by Dverger, a few by seeker soldiers while being outside, but the rest is all done in the infested mines.

And as usual, people miss the point. The say wisp torches are not useful because "it's not feasible to place them ALL OVER the biome to clear the mist", yeah... Why would you ever need that?

There's little to no reason to clear the ENTIRE biome, they're supposed to use it to make paths to where they need to go, not use it to clear the entire mist when there's 0 need to do that.

And if they do, it was 100% THEIR choice. Don't really have the right to whine when doing something out of a self-decision

If you are good at elemental magic, then yes it is very good (especially because slow + quick fire rate). The fireball one is also efficient (blunt damage + wide range and AoE)

I never stay too long at the same place so I usually carry ores in my inventory and never needed troll endu, but it can be useful for a certain part of the biome I don’t want to spoil

Also, mostly for your friend: charreds are very slow so when he will get the pattern and be able to dodge the first attack he should be able to land enough hits to kill the monster before the second attack comes

They are equal in terms of % resistance given. Which one is "better" is determined by your preference for a power with a cooldown vs. a 10-minute duration mead.

Heh, I've not tried sailing with a lox, but I've transported a pack of wolves a couple of times. For some reason, when I'm on a server with other people I always find myself in the position of going off to tame and breed up a pack of wolves then bring them back to the base. Twice I've done it by sea and once on a massive overland trek. I'm not sure if taking a lox for a sail would be much easier - higher potential for sinking the boat halfway there, I suspect!
