mystic force is when you try to build to close to the sacrifice shrine. not sure about "evil force", though I do know you can't (by default) take metal through the standard portals.

check you inventory for any items that have a portal like icon on it. if you toss that item out, you should be able to use the portal.

There are some issues with the update on Xbox, the devs are working on it but NO ONE knows when it will be complete yet, it is high priority though. That is why its not out yet. A workaround is using the Beta for Xbox I believe its called Insider or Flight or something

Anyone notice copper mining seems to work different since the Ashlands patch? When mining, the damage numbers show pretty far below the surface, and when the node breaks, the ore and stone float up from beneath the ground only after a few seconds. Doesn't impact gameplay. Just really weird

Yeah. Oh and also, I was using a log troll to mine copper and he was only doing ~30 damage and only hitting a single node at a time. Was really slow. I don't usually use trolls but I seem to remember them being able to hit multiple copper nodes and break it all up pretty fast? Using the troll was slower than using my antler pick lol

It will burn if "to close" but I have not heard of a measurement for what "to close" is. Fire spread is also apart of the setting (like graphics or sound) and you can turn it off if it is to constricting.

Fires will loose fuel as time go by. You might fill it to max (20 wood pieces? ) only for it to be empty/not lit after several hours. It's a maintenance thing that is built into the game. Much like repairing damages on your walls/floors/roofs.

the ashlands aggro range is way too far. I start off fighting 3 warriors, suddenly a morgan and 3 vultures? Nah that's not a skill issue thats a difficulty through spam issue. The enemies are good but when they start walking towards me at three or four times aggro distance? Come on. Sure multiplayer would be kinda ok but for solo players this is just a punishment.

Well, its an odd request. My friend Claus, who owns the viking village "yxengaard", had his instagram hacked. As a result, facebook banned him. He is an old guy, and gavee up on fixing it. But we are a community of viking enthusiasts who want to help him. But contacting facebook is IMPOSSIBLE. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I know its a far fetched question. But i wanna help the guy get his fb back. He got many years of content there.

You might get some of his "fb friends" to call in and verify that he is not in control of the account anymore. You could also have fb look into the ip address of the person who holds the account and verify it isn't the same as prior(his ip address).

Me who soloed every boss without using exploits disagrees, the bugs were hard enough to deal with they didn't require stupidly long aggro distances. I managed to enjoy mistlands despite being bloody blind the whole time, it felt like you actually had a chance. but in ashlands when you are doing 100% fine, all under control then it floods you with enemies isn't fun it's just tedious. sure give me a patrol of 3 warriors, don't instantly reinforce them before I've killed that 3. I'm cutting down a tree near a shore, look around and nothing, 3 swings in a thrower is up my a**. Nah. Just tedious. it's greydwarves on steroids and I ain't here for it.

But the Brutal Slayers, the Red gem enchant for weapons that do 0.2% extra damage per hp missing, how does that even work, is its like 20dmd per 100missing? Is it my missing HP, the enemies?

That's still only like 20% if you keep in the fight with missing 100hp, and even with best food that I go with as 2x hp and 1x stamina that only gets me about 250ish hp, and a 2star Warrior can flatten 200 of that in 1 hit

maxed dundr oneshots most enemies after a parry and staff of the wild makes you basically untouchable with basic kiting skills, so calling them garbage makes no sense to me

staff of fracturing is admittedly somewhat disappointing (until you use it on something that doesn't resist fire)

groups of 4-5 aren't really an issue for staff of the wild, spam up a couple roots and run in circles around them and you're good.

i'm pretty much finished with Ashlands so i'd rather trust my own experiences

and unless you're wearing heavy armor the only thing faster than you are valkyries, but they waste a lot of time on posing before every attack so dodging them is STILL easy

I maxed out all of those buffs for every planet sadly but once you have hundreds of planets it’s just too many. I really enjoyed all the saves being in the same universe as well. My wife and I picked the same branch of the spiral and I conquered the entire branch from my planet to hers so when she got on we were neighbors
