to actually be serious, Valheim does not need HD graphics, it looks amazing already and its stylisization makes it imho better then "HD graphics", and that also makes the game more runnable then most games, and even smaller then most games too

yes i do. im sure someone has mentioned previously that its impossible to remain looking at an enemy and roll at the same time, which is my issue with the controls. the issue with the map is that its confusing and difficult to use, especially when in combat.

yeah, even the controls list in the settings menu hasn't been changed to show the new zoom controls. for me it's not up and down for camera, left and right for map. instead its LT+up for zoom in/out and it toggles each time you release and press LT, and then LT+down for map which utilizes the same toggle method

as for the rolling, im saying that you attack at your crosshair so you must actively keep your thumb on the right thumbstick while in combat, but you also use your right thumb for jumping and rolling so its impossible to do both at the same time

i only wanted to suggest to the developers that they retain the code for the old controls and add a toggle switch in the settings menu so you can keep everything both controller and keyboard/mouse friendly 🙂

i do hope this is the right place to have discussed this, but before i go i wanna give some serious props to the devs. my sister is in college for game design, and so i have some insight in how difficult it is to make even a single level platformer game. for you 5 (now 10) developers to have created a game which strongly rivals games like skyrim in both content and enjoyablity, is very impressive. i have invested 1000 hours into this game and i bought it in november i think. this might not sound like much, but i dont clock hours like that in almost all games i play. i truly love the world youve built, the combat, the customizability, the building, and just the ambiance behind everything. i even love the mistlands (apparently thats not common) and have loved them since i discovered them. please, stay on the path youre currently on. to see developers sink this much passion into a game... its so rare anymore. thank you so much for giving me a game that revives my love for gaming in general during a time when games are pushed out the door half broken and lacking anything new. also, please let me use your old controls for xbox controllers, as they were perfect ❤️

Use the entrance area as a safe area. Ategirs are fantastic for dealing with the adds. Best advice is bring in another viking to assist

General tips:
Try and keep the fighting on the top levels - this way you can jump down if you feel overwhelmed and need a breather.
Poison resistance pots and feather cape are a must.

If melee build:
Krom/mistwalker and shield (one or the other not both)
Demolisher/himinafl for crowd control
2 health and 1 stamina food
Health pots and lingering stamina - use the stamina liberally

If mage:
Spawn skellies, drop bubble on everything, use fireball at range and ice if closer (fireball also helps remove seeker babies easy)
Eitr regen pots, lingering stamina (again, use this the whole fight to help movement)
Bring 3 eitr foods to max out destructive powers.

Thanks. I would not have connected that support page to the PTB. I assumed that to be for the current GA release.

The "branch" column is occluded as the tired worker graphic takes up a lot of the horizontal space, and forces the chart into a horizontal scroll bar.

Edit: the graphic and the chart are fixed pixel width, so the occlusion can't be remediated by stretching the window. 🙀 I'm sure it's low priority, but that's bad UX/UI. The artwork is great, but really shouldn't be that dominant on the page.

The more times you apply the fire damage the higher the ticks stack, and they will continue until they burn out. So hitting an enemy twice with a torch will start two fire damage cycles, and while both are active the actual tick damage will be higher (because both will apply at the same time)

i dont think it could hurt to try for a month and see if the cost and maintenance of managing the service is acceptable to you, but you have to stay on your toes on services like AWS, costs can be surprising. you can get fairly cheap dedicated solutions that require next to no management from yourself so you just have to decide if its really worth it to you to use aws

This is accurate. The whole Ashlands will terraform, become a completely separated set of islands, and anything near the borders or in the borders can be destroyed. If any parts of it are explored and happen to be in the new landmasses, you will not get new content generated there, but the land structure will still change.

When I started doing the biking the wrong way I did about 33-34 minutes over the same distance and was happy if I could follow an electrical bike with a max speed of 25km/h.
Now about 2 years later, I shaved of +6 minutes from the time it took me and I overtake electrical bikes and can follow other bikers that go around 30km/h.
I can't bike 30km/h myself yet but can follow someone that does for the whole distance, I'm super tired though after I do that and I get to work in around 24-25 minutes if I can do that 30km/h.

@rugged badge I have read that, because it was launched as a "pre-release/beta" on steam, they are not allowed to forecast things like update releases until they(the updates) are complete. Though the article I read that on may be incorrect.
