Done the theorycraft, that's a bit...Not a bit, quite dreamy lol
3550 health is quite hard to reach
Oh yes, I need more fire resistance
terrible. I hope you used a fire extinguisher on him and call 911?
So I saw a lot about the new necro skill Flay, but did they make Harvest any better? I've heard literally nothing about it.
What would be a good non meta build for next season to play with the Market faction. So I'm not stuck buying a 1 bil gold item for an upgrade lol
That's a skill for** lich.** No one want to play necromancer... All acolyte players run to kiss with lich as I saw
000 here but nah just giggled, did get my first epic but
I misspoke. But I am still wondering if they did anything significant for Harvest.
All of that is just harvest.
Thanks
is 4% increased damage per Attribure point (found on most of skills) multiplicative or added to the pool of other %increased damage modifiers. Liike if we have 100 INT that 40% increased dmg. And if we have 1000% total increased damage pool (spell damage, element damage etc) - that is ...like nothing at all
Is there a loot table for bosses? I just beat Haruspex Orian and want to see if I want to do that fight again for any items
It is added to the increased pool of other increased modifiers
100 int is 400% increase in that example, not 40%, which does make a sizable difference to a 1000% increased pool
yes my math failed hard sorry
It depends on the boss. The campaign bosses can have bonus special drops, but often those rewards are not repeatable or are just generic stuff like some extra random rare items.
If i summon hive that cast thorns as an thorn totem, hive still take attribute scaling from hive right? Does summon additional thorn totems affect summon hive skill?
can anyone confirm for me if chaos bolt's Cthonic Aurora works when triggered by cthonic fissures Chaotic Rupture? it kinda looks like it does but the projectiles are too fast for me to really tell. trying to work out if i can use Cthonic Aurora with flay's Chaos Rip
is fubguns ES build stronger than the maxroll one? i need a endgame corruption uber build
what is better leonine helmet or seed of ekkidrasil ( with blinding node in tree)
Do stack-based mechanics reset their duration when you gain a new stack?
I'm looking at bones of Ancestral Pack and wondering if the max stack size is 6 or will it keep scaling as long as they're hitting?
best two things to slam on seed ofek?
and should i use void cleave instead of healing hands?
endgame
When imprinting early on, is there much point to imprint a T6 item? Can it drop a T7?
No need to work it out, it does not apply to chaos rip. However, chaos rip can make recasts with seed of chaos and those recasts are full up casts that do use chthonic aurora.
is it bug or am i missing something? why does my Crit multi is not going up
Not unless specifically stated, it's pretty rare. Functionally the max stack size is 7, but yeah you'll typically max out at 6.
The character sheet doesn't show the stat "melee critical strike multiplier", it only shows "critical strike multiplier"
(Yes, character sheet needs an update)
oh so i have no way of seeing if those 105% multiplier even working or not
It works, you can test it by hitting enemies or the dummies in the arena zone
Yeah, i thought about using the points for more proj anyway but i dont think the mana cost is worth.
Will the mechanics and system with Woven be available in LE in season 3?
So that players can use both Woven and Primordial Encounter mechanics?
yes, for now every system is made to stay in the game. There is no seasonal content
is there a gear stat or thing that makes me as player heal from my minions via leech?
as a general stat, no. There are some skill/passive effects that heal you when your minions attack, but those are rare
Reflect damage comes in the form of either flat “X Damage Reflected to Attackers” or “X% Damage Reflected”. These stats operate independent of each other and one does not scale the other. The “X% Damage Reflected” stat is calculated after mitigation, so it only reflects the percentage of damage received after all forms of player damage mitigation have been calculated.
For those like me who are making reflect builds and aren't aware of this
Basically the % reflected won't do anything, go flat and add thornshield unless you do plan to also get hit
What’s the boogiest upgrade for ES
can someone tell me what LE refers to when they say legendary affix?
affixes slammed on legendaries
Does anybody really use that term...?
It's not like an affix on a Legendary item is "a legendary['s] affix". It's just an affix. It remains whatever tier it was before the slam.
its on the new unique Permanence of Primal Knowledge
this uses player stats? if i get strength this minion gets pen?
Yes, they gain effects based on your stats
but they're still minions and scale on minion dmg % etc
yeah that just means the affixes you get from slamming the unique to make it legendary
is anyone able to tell me how realistic getting double T7s on gear is still?
There's no notes about imprints/nemesis/woven maps changes that we've seen in the notes that would affect drops
They could've nerfed something which simply isn't included so who knows
based off the patch notes, the current farming strategies apply but we can't tell for sure without the live patch
how was it in the last league? I vaguely remember them making adjustments to it but I could be wrong and I quit shortly after it became popularised
can i have a champion mod on a legendary item?
And sorry for all the questions but it's farming nemesis for 2 t7s and imprinting it right?
It was good enough to minmax beyond maxroll's aspirational planners with degen farming
So I'd say good enough
However keep in mind, those crazy characters you might have seen don't just happen out of nowhere (unless they're mg and got gear via unethical means on launch)
Some people have blasted for thousands of echoes
yeah I'm really wondering if I should be using 2 t7s on my aspirational planner or just building around a single t7
If nothing has changed double t7 should be just fine
no
This season was strong enough to even push triple t7s at the very far endgame
ty
Oh wow. What was the farming method anyway?
nemesis is a good source but I've dropped a lot of natural double t7s in woven maps between 1-2k corruption
As long as you have one for each slot you can keep rerolling it with imprint
I highly recommend to make a filter that will help you progress smoothly and not make it very strict from the get go. Not because big drops aren't possible but because you need to be strong enough to farm at a good pace
Get t6 everywhere, then single t7, then slam that t7, then t7 t5, then t7 t6, then double t7 if you're newer
Of course. I plan on making a second planner for progression
You can make one for everything and simply turn off rules as you go
this one is double red rings + double t7 affixes on my other gear lol
Yeah my planner in the endgame had only two exalted rules. One for at least double t7 and one for a champion affix I was looking
The rest was idols/uniques
Sweet thanks for the advice
No problem
I guess the correct wording would be "Affixes from Legendary items"
Finally got the balls to re roll my ws
Hi all. Sorry if wrong channel, I'm currently trying this build
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/olZRRJ6Q
It only goes to lvl 70, I want the same but lvl 100 any recommendations?
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified
Tombs of the Erased / 1.2
Acolyte (22) / Necromancer (61)
▸ Health: 1,114, Regen: 16.51/s
▸ Mana: 95.35, Regen: 8/s
▸ Ward Retention: 194%, Regen: 81/s
▸ Attributes: 1 Str / 8 Dex / 49 Int / 2 Att / 6 Vit
▸ Resistances: 109% / 121% / 72% / 33% / 52% / 205% / 81%
▸ Endurance: 35%, Threshold: 223
▸ Dodge Chance: 5% (83)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 21% (531)
Also this my first time playing
if i have minion aoe on this gloves do they get it twice?
it's the same effect as attribute scalign on any other skill, also minions technically don't have their own attributes
No
The minions summoned by that minion would get that AoE though
but if they only get minion aoe 1 time whats the point of this
i thought i have the stat myself 100% minion dmg and then they get it again so 200
Well you can put in something like armor shred or attack speed or whatever
but no, they don't double up on minion stat you put in there
Double Checking, there is no other item that is similar to Hack than Thornshell right?
you put player stats on that and give it to your minions
Are there any really big sources of minion crit chance, like a unique I might overlook? Now that I need to care about crit chance, trying to find the 800%ish I want 🤔
800%!
You need to find some flat crit first
Yeaaah, not sure blind fury is the play for crit stacking.
I'm getting pretty close though: 10 from egoism, 6 from cruel monstrosity, 5 from new sharpened bone, phantom grip for another 4% and 5 base... 30% base crit only need 566% inc... 200 from tree, 200 from inheritance of erased...
Maybe blind fury isn't too bad still for crit
@lyric plaza
I was just about to send a message to modmail lol
Do you mind taking care of this one? I am on phone
Honestly fair
look at this mods, working on sunday Clap
Imagine if they didn't
The horror
where do i see pepole promote discord servers for pepole to hangout with
is there any diffretn between LEtools or maxroll to plan a build?
Not really outside of the interface
The difference is that maxrolls planner doesn’t play nicely with less width on your screen
Le tools also has a quicker access to a searchable database of items and information
How much dps should a build have to quickly clear 1k Corruption? I am currently theory crafting builds but I noticed that I have no Bar for dps to aim for.
i wonder if the new gloves would take the posion chance from this and convert to bleed, as it on spell hit and not general chance
Font of the erased and similar items are all random on which affixes pop up right?
Ok just get a bunch until I get the combination I want?
yup
to trigger "wild hunt" need to go to chap 10?
I'm confused of which way available to play poison damage. It work with any damage type + poison chance?
any damage type = poison damage/physical damage/melee damage/spell damage/damage over time
any type of dmg can inflict poison
just like anything can cause ignite
oh so it's depend on where the focus is, damage type or aliments
My focus is damage type 🤔
oh, so dont need to go to chap 10, for them?
noice
oh, but the trader is in chap 10 hmmmm
I think it said that he's at the start of every rift
Chapter 10 also gives +1 to all stats apparently
Is that +1 stat just moved from Chap 9 or no? Do we know
you get +1 from both chapter 9 & 10
Ooh, so it's +2 total. Nice
Is there a Merchants Guild guide somewhere?
Specifically, how do I learn whats worth selling and what isn't? How do I make a good MG loot filter?
Last time I tried playing I quit because I got overwhelmed by loot / stas management.
nothing in this server specifically, outside of #💰┃merchants-guild they would have a better idea of where to look for such things
Thanks, I'll ask there
And that why i play CoF, to many build that need this or that loot to keep track on
Unless you play legacy, and have loads of golds.
As all the season MG move to legacy MG i think
Well, I can't play CoF, the loot is even more overwhelming for me there

Just take what you need, that why there are loot filter.
If you don't know how to build one that a problem with a solution
Well, I prefer having a guaranteed way to get what I want instead of farming forever and potentially never finding what I am looking for. I know I want to play MG, I am just looking for a way to learn how to do that better
Good luck then my guy 🫡
For me its to complicated
On a completely different note - I saw that there was a unique that makes you immune to bleed ( https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzDsBYGZyA ).
Is it worth running that with phys converted aura of decay so that you can ignore the selfdamage completely? Or is the primordial slot too valuable for that?
Whats the best strategy to farm rune of Havoc ?
Prophecy must be in a graveyard/cim ?
hi guys, are the new filter sounds coming aout with the patch or can we start configuring them earlier?
patch
thanks 🥲
can someone help me get the tp to observatory?
is the attunment scaling here base crit?
It's flat crit, basically same thing
Lightless Arbor i farmed 2k havoc runes😄
What is the number 2 below the icon? Is it different from the one that doesn’t have it?
That is how many echoes the modifier will persist. Note this bit
Oh ok thanks
Hey, it's possible to change a rare item into an exalted ?
Not currently with the crafting options available this version and the update on August 21. The devs have been adding additional crafting features each major update, so who knows what the future holds.
okay thanks and I also got the sealed affixes can't be merge with legendary items
Correct. And the new Primordial T8 Sealed affixes coming with the update can't be used as well.
reflecting damage to an attacker, that counts as a hit right? in terms of applying status effects on hit
for example
( i get that it would not apply the damage reduction on the initial hit, but it would on successive hits if the first hit from the reflected damage does apply status effects
Reflected damage is not a hit, no.
dangit, thanks for the response
When I make my first character for the season, can I join the merchant guild right away
Your first seasonal character ever has to unlock it via story since it's a fresh start
Does the squirrel summoned by this item receive the effects of Wolf Tree?
On the first character in a game mode / shared stash, you'll need to reach Chapter 9, Maj'Elka Upper District. There you can join Merchant's Guild or Circle of Fortune. On subsequent characters in the same game mode / shared stash, they will be able to join an item faction in the first town in Chapter 1, Keeper's Camp.
Thank you!
Yes. You'd need the Summon Wolf node Safety in Numbers or unique item The Fang to have a bunch of squirrels.
Squirrels use different skills than Howl, but can they activate the same effects as Howl?
Yeah it's a different buff, but you can use Summon Wolf nodes Victory Howl and Snarl.
Oh and Call of Wind, Battlecry, and Howl of Might. There's a bunch of Howl related passives.
have the devs said how to get t8 affixes yet?
I hope you have good luck.
Yes, it was in the teaser and patch notes. There is a new crafting item Rune of Evolution.
The evolution rune on a T7 item for normal affixes, a new woven echo for champ affixes
is it like random?
The Rune of Evolution requires a T7 affix to use. If there's multiple T7, it will pick on randomly. If there's only one it does the one.
This is the woven echo Father Toast mentioned.
https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/last-epoch-beneath-ancient-skies-patch-notes/78635/3#monolith-3
Bloodline Glade: Slay a pack of randomly evolved Rift Beast Champions to retrieve the Primordial Exalted Items they guard, each of which has a Primordial Champion Affix.
alright thanks for the info!
Crafting options really starting to outpace the FP on items
Especially with envy taking up hope's slot
when and for how long will LE be down for in prep for season 3?
what build is stronger than erasing strike?
IIRC it was 24h before for last season?
https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/last-epoch-beneath-ancient-skies-patch-notes/78635
Downtime Notice: Servers will become unavailable starting 24 hours before patch launch at
August 20, 2025 [11 AM Central / noon Eastern] in preparation of the Season 3 Launch.
True Offline mode will continue to be available during this downtime through Steam launch settings.
Check the forum post for it to show the time converted to your timezone.
Yeah there ya go, same deal
Here, I tried to make discord timestamps, but due to daylight savings shenanigans this may be slightly off:
The day before, August 20, there will be 24 hours of server downtime beginning at 11 AM CDT (UTC-5).
This should convert that into your time zone: <t:1755705600:F>.
Note that if you play offline, you can set the game to true offline mode to continue playing while servers are down.
Then on Season 3 launch day, August 21, servers go live at 11 AM CDT (UTC-5).
This should again convert that into your time zone: <t:1755792000:F>.
thank you 🙂
does Fester stacks increase the damage of ailments inflicted by Aura of Decay? if not, what else does it increase? as far as im aware, the aura itself doesnt deal any damage, it just applies status ailments
Yes. "more" is multiplicative damage increase and Skills with a more damage modifier also apply it to the ailments that Skill applies. With the exception of if the more says "more on Hit" as DoTs don't hit.
okay, thanks
so what builds are you guys doing for the upcoming season?
One of the first characters I ever made back in the early access was a Lich and I haven't made another since then, so I was thinking about making a new Lich character. Not entirely sure yet though.
I'm doing bladedancer it best suits my playstyle
are there things to buy other than primordial unique/affix related things using dino mats?
when was early access?
so season 3 is launching at 12 eastern. will the download appear in steam before that time?
im going with bleed stacking low-life Warlock using AOD + chtonic fissure + soul feast + Rip Blood
There was a Kickstarter with a playable version and then later Early Access in 2019 on Steam. I started playing sometime around 2022, maybe around 0.8.5? Version 1.0 was in 2024.
a new rune that converts one exalted stat on an item into a T8 affix turning it into a primordial item (with the same restrictions as the primordial uniques)
This is a guess. In the video https://youtu.be/mO5Edh_xa-I that was posted with the patch notes, it looks like there's some sort of grab bags in the lower right with different things in them. From the top down, left to right, looks something like: random Primordial Materials, affix shards, gold - maybe that's item faction related, runes probably, memory amber - maybe woven echoes as well, scroll looking one is maybe glyphs, and last one probably random uniques. So maybe you can turn your excess Primordial Materials in for random stuff of a certain type.
OK yeah, I rewatched the video and this was on screen for a split second. Bag of Shards. Drops a random amount of shards when opened. So there's some grab bags in the lower right.
does summon volatile zombies count as a fire skill since the zombies have the fire tag?
It seems really not clear out there, but what does Damage Reflected to Attackers scale with? Is it affected by enemy armor? phys res?
can I boost it global damage?
Yo! (A bit drunk here) need help with Uber Boss.. anyone wanna help me one time? 🙂
I know Void knight is not the best for Bossing..
how does reductions to enemy resistances (that is not from shred) interact with resistance penetration?
can resistance reductions (that is not from shred) reduce their resistances below 0?
Hey all, quick question. I'm working on my loot filters. I want to set up a filter that basically says to emphasize an item that has 2+ of selected affix, AND 1 of those is tier 6+.
So far I'm seeing I can basically do one or the other, or it'll be a convoluted process of hiding/showing that seems unrealistic for multiple items, lol. Makes me think I'm doing something wrong.
Is it possible to imprint a t7 regular life affix if a unique item already has same life affix ?
I don't think that the affix on uniques are the same, right? Even if it reads the same, I'm not sure it's technically the same? Could always give it a try.
Does the health lost on Exsanguinous count as health drain for the essence devourer lich passive as Exsanguinous says "health lost" not "health drained?"
i cant find any info on how much res ie phys abberoth has in either version... has some1 info about that?
Yes, you can put enemies into negative Resistances. By default, enemies have zero resistance unless they have a monster modifier or echo modifier. For example, "of Gales" adds Cold Damage and Cold Res +50% https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/monstermods and "All Resistances" gives +25% all Res https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/monolithmods. Armor is similar in that enemies have zero Armor, although there aren't any modifiers I'm aware of that give enemies Armor.
does monsters only have armor for reducing physical damage? or do they have physical resistance too?
By defaults enemies, including Bosses, have zero Resistance and zero Armor. As both Aberroth fights don't use any scaling including Corruption and Echo Modifiers, they won't get any of the modifiers like "All Resistances" echo modifier that gives +25% all Res https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/monolithmods
But the regular bosses in Timelines do and could end up with that echo mod.
you can do this
Again they all have zero Armor and zero Res by default. They wouldn't have any Physical Resistance unless they had that previously mentioned All Res echo mod. There doesn't appear to be a Physical Res monster mod. So if you're hitting an enemy with Armor Shred, you're just putting them into negative Armor for bonus damage from Hits. Not DoTs as DoTs bypass Amor by default.
like this @runic dock
No, it's a minion fire skill though. The fire tag needs to be in the scaling tags to count as a fire skill (not the minion tags).
will all the dialogue ever be voiced?
understood, thanks
i am using this, when AOD is converted into physical/bleed, that should also bring them into negative right?
Yes
and this stacks additively with penetration right?
i.e. -50% resistance from the above node and 30% penetration = 80% more damage taken by the monster if they have no physical resistances
Yes
and with other resist reductions as well, like shred or marked for death
Thanks, ya. That's what I was figured it would be. I was feeling fatigued that I couldn't copy a rule though. I didn't want to have to punch in my affixes twice for everything....
There is a document or something like a mental map to better understand how to up my gear or manage the end game?
I mean something like :
1- find the legendary
2 a- put it in the weaven tree
3 a- Collect X no LP items and use the weaven echo
2b - use nemesis to improve your 0LP
2b tips : you can use echo to farm nemesis.
Do you see what I mean ?
You should really just be picking an end goal and then working backwards.
Because its not totally universal. You may want a high LP boss drop, you may want a strong experimental affix from mages, or a random unique that gets your build online.
If you're early on scale a stat with your gear, pick up uniques and maybe just build some idea of what they all do
Then you'll think, oh thats cool that unique does this, and you can start building around it
This is assuming you're not going the route of just copy pasting a build
And also worth understanding that slamming is something of a basis for making a good item to. So think I need some kind of gigachad exalted on a high lp unique
if i curse myself with this, from having Bone Curse as an Aura, do i
- take more damage from it if i am missing like 95% of my life? since i am the caster
- does the effect it gives "15% more damage over time taken" also affect the damage itself deals?
- does my "% increased" and "% more" damage over time stats affect the damage it deals to myself?
- does it count as an ailment?
Some items have a description called “weaver’s will.” What does it do?
What faction is best merchant or circle fortune ?
I was more on this road but I can adapt 😄
Weaver's Will item randomly upgrade as you use them, adding or upgrading Legendary affixes. There is also a Weaver's Rune that speeds up the random upgrades.
when killing enemies it will sometimes add a random stat (and sometimes also upgrade stats that were added by it) onto the item and reduce the weavers will value on the item until the value reaches 0.
the added stats work similarly to legendary stats on uniques
Oh that’s a very cool feature!
It's however you prefer to play the game. The devs give two options so you can play how you like! If you want to get the exact item you're looking for from an auction house like screen, you'll like Merchant's Guild. If you prefer to grind the items yourself, you'll like Circle of Fortune. Just note that for MG items can only be bought/sold once in LE and there's no direct player to player trades. It's all done on an asynchronous Bazaar - so the other person doesn't need to be online. Also if you want to play offline, play CoF as MG doesn't give you any benefit offline.
i wnat to make a falconer umbral blades build, but the season ends in a few days. i dont know what to do
will it be nerfed s3?
there is a nerf, but not sure how much it will affect the build
what is going to be the go to s tier build s 3
Rogue Skill changes are listed here https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/last-epoch-beneath-ancient-skies-patch-notes/78635/3#skills-22 some of the changes including a hit/trigger limit on Skills like Aerial Assault and Falconry at 10 times per 3 seconds and a cap on Umbral Blades node Edge of Obscurity giving up to 20 stacks of Dusk Shroud. Also changes to Dive Bomb.
what does the buff on Sync strike mean?
Sounds like you can use it faster. I'm not sure if that's referencing a Use Delay or what.
well thats going to be one of my main skills so i will notice a diff
Did a quick search in #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs and I didn't see it mentioned, although I may have missed it.
From what I read, the time between you pressing and the skill going off is shorter
so its two times fasteR?
Where do I go to use the rune of ascendancy?
Sounds like it yeah
can i have 2 of this ring and have double the ward effect?
You'd just double the chance I'm pretty sure. As in no
oh okay that sucks
Any clue why i dont get the respec option only the rellocate passive points?
Necromancer abomination build
wait
Nah i wanted to see the build/patch number
Which is s2 so it should be there
Thats a weird ui bug
but it does give me class change
Hit f8 and report it
Im on german btw
Plz
done
Ty
I was thinking about something like this, what do you think ?
There is a lot typo (chatgpt) but the idea was something like this, I'll continue to complete something like that for the S3
maybe I should add the craftings tips I found on YT in another section
For uniques:
LP 0 / regular unique - Nemesis Egg.
LP 1+ you want to use - Legendary crafting with Temporal Sanctum.
LP 1+ you don't need - Farsight Turtle woven echo.
Extra copies of items for example failed crafts - Gauntlet of Strife woven echo.
I didn't get your last point : Extra copies of items for example failed crafts
The Gauntlet of Strife woven echo needs sacrificial copies of the same item to reroll every value within their ranges on Unique/Legendary items, including implicits and Legendary affixes. Just the values, it doesn't change an affix to a different affix. Each reroll requires a sacrificial copy of the same item with equal or higher Legendary affixes or LP and for WW items the WW number + affix tier.
So you can use a failed crafting attempt to reroll the values on a copy you want to use. Something to do with all the extra items that didn't work out while you were trying to make a specific Legendary item.
does the "Increased Damage for skills used by Shadows" from Penumbra increase ailment damage if the skill applies the ailment?
okay I got more information and I haven't did that for now, but okay I'll note
I'll do it now to check 😄
thanks for your completion on that 🙏
hey, friend told me that LE has a flicker build now? where can i read more about it? whats the build/skill ? thanks
Lich 30 skill: Flay
They may be referring to the new Lich skill Flay https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/last-epoch-beneath-ancient-skies-patch-notes/78635/4#flay-7, but note it's short range "Flay: Spirit Step up to 3 meters towards an enemy if not within range, then perform a narrow rending slash"
You can see the Skill being demonstrated at about 6 minutes 20 seconds playing time in this video that was released with the patch notes. Link shoud go to that time stamp. https://youtu.be/mO5Edh_xa-I?t=380
thank you very much, thats very helpfull!
Okay I stop for now but at the end it's something like this for who is interested by
Does anyone know if flat +lightning spell damage or weapons +spell damage affect spark charges?
Yes and yes
Thank you!
if i take a skill tree node that provides phys pen, would that apply to bleed from that skill
Yup
having a hard time with shade of orbys at 1312 corruption. i thought my build was stronger than this
any tips?
have you tried confluince of oblivion?
its one of the woven tree echoes
you basically fight 5 shades of each element but are weaker
so you wont get 1 hit as much
confluence I meant
beating the 5 shades grants corruption increase as well
Do we know how difficult it will be to get primal uniques without lp?
woah aweosme
you can buy it from the shop that sells woven echoes
but beating the 5 weaker shades resets the timeline and grants however much corruption it says
You can buy most of them
where is that
is it morecommon to ad corruption with those than shade of orbys?
if you imprint a woven echo with confluence of oblivion it has a chance to appear in your echo web
what is imprinting i keep hearing that
its in the woven tree
you can imprint items yes
im talking about echoes
the main idea about confluence is that you beat 5 weaker shades so theres less chance of getting 1 hit
which is good when you reach high corruption
@desert tree in game model comparison.
Is the crit granted by crit vulnerability affected by your Increased Crit Chance stat?
It is not
Thanks
You add it at the end of your Crit Calculation
[ ( Base Crit + Flat Crit ) x Inc Crit ] + Crit Vulne
sorry if i missed the info , t8 can be imprinted in lp unique ?
T8s are sealed affixes and can't be used as a legendary affix
ah yes forgot this , thx
is there any way to find a previous version of a build on maxroll? came back from the weekend and it's been updated for new season already.
Does assemble abomination have the same passives or minions it absorbs?
Like if I had a node selected in summon skeleton and it absorbs said skeleton would it be granted the same stats/ability? outside of health of course
No, it only gains what it specifically says on tooltip and abom nodes
Gotcha!
Is there any way around taking up all of you skill slots to get the max effect from this node? I know that if you switch the skill on the hotbar the minion will dissapear and ehg has said that would kill the abom. Has anyone found a work around?
or do you just really have to full commit for it?
you summon everything and then replace skills on bar
you dont need to spec all minions
If you do that they’ll abomination is unsummoned
no it isnt
pretty sure they said it would
Let me rewatch the video but I’m sure they said that
abom only unsummons if you unspec things
I mean if all you have to do is summon the minions and then switch the skill everyone would take these nodes it would be a no brainer. its 60% more damage 60% more AS 100% more dmg and 100% more hp
Well some other nodes give bonuses for absorbing a certain amount of minion
Also you’d have to keep switching your skill slots to resummon
I think you can reach 100% resummon chance for summon skeleton but not for the other ones
"EHG_Mike — 8/13/25, 5:05 PM
Unspeccing the minions doesn't necessarily affect your abom, but for example if you absorbed 6 mages and then do something that causes your maximum mages to fall below 6, your abom will implode"
so whats changing about blood dance in bladedancer tree?
Also im pretty sure the absorb effects only take into account the original cast. the minions that it devours after do not count
can you not get jewelry prophecies with weavers will?
I swear I could do it for armor, but I'm not getting any for jewely at like 20+ rerolls
Is the devouring souls summoned by abomination different from hungering souls?
Want to see if speccing into hungering souls will buff the ability of abomination
On the wiki it’s listed as “other” but in the patch notes under the skill it says name change
What time zone it's gona be released the next season on thursday ?
i forget how do i check what tier the affixes on my items are
Alt ?
There is also an option to always see the tier and the roll range
Same time as all the #news channel posts.
This should again convert that into your time zone: <t:1755792000:F>.
got it
is there any way to find a previous version of a build on maxroll? came back from the weekend and it's been updated for new season already.
No, your skill specs do not apply to skills your minion use unless specifically stated otherwise (only primalist has minions that do this afaik).
It's also a totally different skill, it doesn't apply possess like hungering souls.
Got it! Thank you
This image is what was confusing me lol
Why do some items drop with their image 'mirrored' ?
Rune of Creation and Lightless Arbor can do that
Just a visual thing then eh?
Yup
got to 1500 corruption should i just give up find a new game until season 3?
go for 10k
Take a break or farm for another build, youre gonna burn out.
I've seen conflicting info on this, is there a difference between flat necrotic spell damage and flat spell necrotic damage? Also, will either of those affect my physical spell? For example, I see both wordings here, but sometimes I see just one or the other. Also, if anyone knows a more definitive place where this info is, I would love that.
Physical is not necrotic.
but it will add it ot the physical skill's damage as necrotic damage.
- No ,same thing words put different order
2.Yes, your physical spells will deal some Necrotic Dmg. It can be scaled by Generic Spell Dmg for exemple
Anyone know any ways to clear ailments on minions? I ask for the purpose of clearing the infinite poison from dread shade
Hi, I'm just wondering if you can really have a double Minion Melee Damage affix on 1h axes? According to the planner, it's possible, but now that I think about it, I've never seen it in-game and wanted to ask just to be sure.
totally possible, and a good thing to aim for
thanks!
There is no way as a solo player afaik. I think there might be at least one way in co-op.
that's what i came up with as well, sad
Smite can cleanse your minions I believe
Didnt they change smite cleanse to direct cast?
And they are dread shade/acolyte so itd only be from belt or somethin...which couldnt be direct
You can still direct cast it, no?
That's the one I was thinking of, can't think of any others atm
eterra's blessing has cleanse on target, cant use it solo with dread shade ofc
Yeah, direct cast is the new restriction
True, dang I totally forgot EB lol
Does acolyte even have a cleanse?
profane veil
Mage has a cleanse in frost wall and glyph too
Asking cuz acolyte noob
lunge can cleanse allies... lol
okay, so there's actually quite a few ways to cleanse your allies' minions, but nothing available to acolyte to cleanse her own
very intentionally of course
I saw harmony got hit a little; is there a place to see pre-release nerf/buffs? Or do they not really share them anywhere since it's unreleased content?
kinda up in the air for the moment.
I don't think we'll know for sure til release and even then it might see some changes in a hot fix.
this was posted in the ask devs channel #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message
wow, 35% to 20% is a huge hit, Ty
For the upcoming S3, would a zoo companion beastmaster build be viable? 😅
Anything is viable enough if you're willing to go slow
Maybe
Spriggan (the companion) has some interesting buffs to benefit zoo
Is it possible to recolor items that have < 4 affixes? I find that a lot of times an exalted with 3 affix instead of 4 are more valuable, but I think if I do this it'll only show items with 2 affix, right?
Bleed zoo looks like it might have some potential. Boar aspect granting a ton of phys pen and viper aspect for another more dot will go pretty hard on companions with 80% increased effect from the buffs
✍️ icic, thx Father Toast and ValderiusRex ❣️
is there a calculator for low health ward generation where you can input your max life, threshold, and retention and see how much ward you will max out at?
On tunklabs
Do minions getting absorbed count as minion death
bluefeather band's affix values should roll independently, right? so you could get like a 54% Less Mana Cost and only 48% Less Mana and Less Mana Regen if you got lucky?
Was just reading a tips and tricks guide, it said do not do dungeons till you finish the game as these can skip the story line, Is this true? And how do I know what a dungeon looks like ?
is Forged strike(shrapnel) scalable for end game?
There are 2 in ruined era and 1 divine(?)
Haven't visit soulfire bastion in the longest time
soulfire bestion, lightless arbor and temporal sanctum
Frankly you'll come across 2 if you do side quests for extra skill points
No idea, my habit is unlock their waypoints per I come across campaign
I kinda hate the first walk to soulfire bastion
Is there a site to see the new uniques and exalted items
Maybe, we can't tell without asking a dev or dataminer at this point
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/version/version130/new/items
you can filter by uniques
Thank you
pinned comment in general also has new prefixes and stuff
Don't worry, you can't accidentally do them on a first run through.
They are special side zones with red markers on the world map and require a key for entry. The keys don't drop until some time after the dungeon's level, so you won't have any unless you're on an alt.
But it would be funny if you could accidentally go in
Just double checking — we don't have confirmation on whether Thicket of Blinding Light works with Thornshell right? Looks like it's one of many things in Mike's pile to answer 😅
How long will the maintenance be on the 21st?
Catch a bird!
for ignite/bleed and other similar dots do they create new leech instances every 0.25sec?
Or do leech instances from dots work differently than from hits?
Hi new to planning on this game. I have a lot questions but one of which is how do you all literally understand ALL this one pile of information? Like you got % then you gor keywords and effects. There is like A LOT to take in and even as casual this is like quite hard-core but even so most of you just casually be like " dont forget about X and Y" and I'm like completely clueless where they even began learning this all...
Honestly feels like the community maybe too hard-core or am I just dumb? Lol
Hi there, I don't think we (the community) are too hard core
There is a lot of info to process for sure. But you don't have to process it all at once.
Everytime you make a build, if you learn at least one new thing, eventually you will become very knowledgeable.
You don't have to jump to build creation right away (even I do think it's the best part of the game). You can look at other people guides and builds and try to learn.
Tldr: take your time.
I will give you 2,5 more advices
If you have a question about smth specific, press G ingame. There is a wonderful guide where everything in the game is explained. If you can't find or understand in the guide, come back here to ask.
Limit yourself to a class for a season (at least at first). So you can learn all the mechanics in one class, and at the same time the general mechanics of the game.
Also, you dint need to plan the next uber killer. I have spend years planning build to do 100c, then 200c etc...
Thanks and yeah I guess it all just depends on build and just happens to be repeated. I guess is more of math involved and how people calculate this stuff. I am horrible with % but yeah.. like if im gonna plan the build i need to at least understand whatever the % means
that's the neat part, most people just.. don't do that at all
they just play the game, if you're thinking about math and hopping on the official discord you're already ahead of most players
They don't? The amount of times I see on reddit people talk about % is like almost almost the time. I guess its more of bigger % better the odds
you can get pretty far in LE playing essentially completely blind, picking stuff entirely based on vibes
just in-game tooltips alone tell you a lot without you needing to search
You can do 99.9% of the game just by clicking coherent things
I am a Melee build > melee dmg, Melee Attack speed
Gg you killed Abberoth
Oh for sure but I hate feeling like not learning somthing new if you get my drift. I am speaking from someone who played magic the gathering for over 3+ years and to this day I still learn all kinds of things. But Last epoch is more of like whole different field. Some people have too much passion to the point they make essay build and I wonder if thats somthing I need to understand. All the comments casually talking like this is normal lol
And yeah I am with my necromancer build and im absolutely melting the enemies, its just more of like how much further can I go with the build
if you already have a working build and are pushing endgame then sure, yeah
you need to learn how different parts mesh together if you want to optimize
So for example my understanding is I understanding if it reads "minion deal +24 damage" is MORE valuable than "minion increased damage"
The problem is what is the difference?
ehh, I mean I wouldn't say more valuable; it's more like
you're doing 1 * X * Y, and X is harder to get than Y, meaning when you can get X you care about it more and it feels more impactful/important
strictly speaking you "need" both and in order to figure out what you should prioritize, you do kinda need to know the 1 * X * Y, what those values look like for your character
sure
though there's more than just 2 variables that influence your minions DPS
attack speed, crit chance, crit damage, etc
So damage add is flat damage
Increased damage is multiply?
just FYI, most of this is in fact covered by the game guide
Ye I am confident that I carry a lot of this including in my idol doing heavy lifting
Yeah its been hot min since I got back to game so hyped for season 3 just more of like grasping how I can start being serious.
the math in calculating hit damage gets quite complicated, particularly when you're factoring in everything like armor and resistances
armor shred is a very nice mechanic but not intuitive to look at and go "yes, this gives me exactly 10% more damage"
I took a read. I sort of understand it yes. So I was leaning on the right idea
lastepochtools.com has some limited damage calculations, and this exists (I have no idea how good it is though, never used it): https://github.com/Musholic/LastEpochPlanner
Gotcha gotcha. Is more like extra layer of combating enemies resistance
actually I forgot about this
maxroll has a good article on the topic: https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/resources/damage-explained
that's probably what you're looking for if you want to understand the math yourself
Appreciate it, I'll take one step at the time. First I need to figure out the simple terms of words and then worry about math if needed
Ill definitely take a read later on this, I just done nights shift and too tired to go deeper but I appreciate thst
But it is good to know that a lot of this means I understand actually need to understand math, is more of optimization
All I know is 75% resistance is the cap and I need 100%(?) Crit resistance?
it's a good idea to have an answer to monsters critting you, yeah
100% crit avoidance, 100% reduced bonus damage taken from crits, or just apply and maintain the blind debuff on enemies
are the 3 ways I can remember, dunno if others exist
75% resistances are a good idea too, but not super important, like if you have say 60-70% resist and can't easily get it to 75% it doesn't matter that much
That's right yeah. I only been playing minions so like that is the most i feel comfortable and easiest to cap resistance thanks to skill
Yeah 75% is the soft cap from my understanding
I learned the hard way when I first fought harbour
That was maybe first time the game told me about the resistance lol
Like you can clear the game like easily then some point you hit a brick and you scratch your head
Enemies gain 1% penetration per area level, capped at 75% in areas level 75 and above. Overcapping resistances above 75% does not help mitigating this penetration.
This means in a level 75 zone, having 75% resistance just means you take 0% increased damage from that damage type
and being at 0% resistance means you're taking 75% increased damage from that damage type
Thank you, that makes A LOT more sense
that's why being slightly undercapped on resistances isn't a very big deal, if you're at 65% for example you're just taking 10% increased for a single damage type
Ill ask later today or so days coming about how I know if its good item or how to slam best way possible. I understand there is rng elements but that kind of questions is for another time
Yeah but I heard its recommended to cap 75 just so you dont have to worry about it in future end game content. But then again crit resistance and avoidness is MUST
Especially with minions, holy shit they die so fast without it
eh, I mean
minion survivability is more down to minion health and how much recovery or damage avoidance they have
Yeah i favor more of minions HP as much as I possibly can. I dont there is a limit but I am confident they stay alive more longer
like you can get 150% minion life from a single t5 prefix, which is a bigger survivability increase than going from 0% to 75% all resistances for them
at least starting from 0% increased minion life, obviously the math changes if you have 1000% minion life already or something
Which minions can recover portion of health from abilities
minions usually keep themselves alive through leech
I dont remember how I keep mine alive. But they do good job. Mostly throw minions so they never get close
The problem is mostly aoe
tbh I don't really like how reliant minions are on leech, it works quite poorly if you have a large number of minions IMO
Okay so I appreciate your time and help. Ill make sure to look through this later when I get chance. I tried looking back YouTube while ago but they got bit too complicated and they kinda went different direction. I should take moment and time to read on my own about stats
because the enemies can hit all of your 20-whatever minions at once with a single AoE, and then all 20 of your minions need to leech back to full separately; it feels kinda bad lol
compared to just having 1 big minion that takes a single hit and then gets all the leech for themselves
I believe I have explosive zombie that runs and dies and has chance to give minion HP after explode, I could very wrong. Like its been while since I seen skill tree
But yeah more HP minions doing mostly the heavy lifting. This season patch for minions were huge let down related to wrath, skeletons, etc... who knows maybe I am wrong and the simple changes will make it more impactful like the "assassin" mode
would make more sense IMO if a big AoE hitting a large number of minions meant the damage was split across all the minions hit, rather than all of them taking full damage
both thematically and in terms of balance
i remember ehg has posted stats after a season, has someone the link to that? i want to see the numbers on how many created chars per season and how many have killed abberoth/uber
I can always move my minions at command to avoid aoe but they too dumb to do it on it own
Alright im off to sleep thanks again @vale thistle
24h
starting 24h before patch
It is possible to have a set bonus on a LP unique?
no
is it safe to start an acolyte before the update and be able to get the new stuff when they come out?
sure, they don't do the whole legacy version of items, classes etc thing in LE
means when it gets reworked i can switch to that?
No, it's not that you "can" switch to that - your character will be updated to the latest version of skills, items etc. It's not optional. Also all new content of this patch will be available in legacy mode too.
Hey guys, what do you think about this ? it's all true ? something is missing ? I'm trying to prepare my S3
Using Blood font to convert Aura of Decay's poison to bleed, then using Maehlin's Hubris will convert those bleeds to ignite right?
Or are you only able to convert once
2 days ago I would have told you it can only convert once
Today I don't know
It seems like outgoing ailments ca' be converted multiple timzs
Hmm. Because if it can be converted multiple times I am able to use Aura of Decay to inflict Bleed which is then converted to ignite which is then proliferated with Wildfire Embers
Then I use something like Flay with Army of Skin to cast both Rip blood and then use Rip blood to cast bone curse which I can use to shred armour, which increases damage
I'm also just throwing things at the wall and coming up with ideas as I go
Armor Shred doesn't affect dot
Oh yea. Well that's just less mana cost, sweet
Either way there are allot of other methods to increase the DoT so shred won't be that big a deal to lose
I am not an Acolyte player, but when I hear Ignite I think of Hungering Souls
Yea but that's been done before.
With Wild fire?
No, just general ignite
This wall is going to be very covered in stuff
Plus I want to play around with Flay, so I'm just trying it out. I have 3 builds around it, this time I am just making it not low life
yeah ironically wildfire should fix the main issue of that build in shotgun configuration - clear
Yea prolif is sooo nice. I think I like it more than minion builds and that says something
is this a bug on letools saying it cant drop?
@desert tree what you think? its your build i think i didnt changed the passiv just added 8 points attunment with pen in, obviously this is atm just a direction to play without thinking while leveling, somewhere in between i need definitely resistances and depends on what uniques i get i build up from there https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/owb80wNB
Beneath Ancient Skies / 1.3

▸ Crit Avoidance: 31%
Bug, kinda. It's not a usual "world drop". I should probably just hide it for weaver idols.
Hi, anyone knows If I play Beastmaster with Summon Scorpion, when I choose Thunder Stinger change the scorpion skill to Shock Nova, Is that Miasma still available to Shock Nova? I saw Miasma only for Venom Nova, but I change the Venom Nova to Shock Nova, not sure it is same available
Yes it does work for Shock Nova
At least it does rn on live server in s2
anything good that scale with inteligent except ward?
How crazy would it be to start rhe game tomorrow and beat the acts for the first time and still be able to do some endgame content before the season ends in a few days?
All that as a beginner to not only the game but with ARPG genre as a whole (I suck at itemization and crafting)
can add rune of ascendance for target farm
Yeah that true thx for watching, the rest seem correct ?
pretty much, haven't done anything with experimental tho
Thats tough to say, if you're starting fresh you'd have to really be rushing and I don't think thats a great beginner experience. If you're completly new to the genre I think getting to Endgame in 2 days is a bit of a stretch.
Altough you could always start and then play legacy the next Season (with all your progress and all your gear). Afaik there won't be any content locked behind having to play Seasonal, unless you care about fresh Leaderboards.
Only downside is, if you want to join the trading Faction (instead of the kind of more Find Items yourself Faction). Could be tough to get started with that since that won't be reset on legacy, altough I've heard thats possible too. (But I don't really know)
I need help with auto stash… I put unique LP minimum 1 and Weaver will max 1 does not sort through. The same with weaver will item I put weaver will min 1 and LP 1 does not sort through. Is it a bug right now???
The biggest trouble is stop to compare myself with pro players personally
Too young on this genre is a big disadvantage
The best way to enjoy le is closed your discord, just explore everything by yourself to learn basics, until your character unlocks empowered timelines. The chance of meeting troubles you can't solve by yourself is much higher in endgame. That's the correct time to open your discord and begin to ask questions
99% players here are discussing endgame only
Hi, I am getting Unity crashes recently. Any way to fix it?
Try verifying your files
Alright, will do that 🙂
If anyone knows, Wildfire Embers states that Skills cast from Wisps count as me casting the skill/ scale with my stats, but on LeTools if I hover over the Wildfire Wisps subskill it says they also gets 4% increased damage per Dex.
Is that on top of my own scaling for the Skill? Or is that just ignored for the skills they repeat (since those count as cast by me) and the Wisp dex scaling has another purpose/ is stated wrong?
You ignore the dex scaling on wisps
Ty!
Any idea how that scaling came to be? Just curious.
You're the one casting, not them
It's just something that's technically there but that you can never make actual use of. There's a ton of examples of it and you usually can't know or see that it exists except for on Le tools and similar sites
It's the same with how a lot of sub-skills have attribute scaling even though you can never actually get any bonus from it. Not sure what the "convention" is though since they recently started omitting attribute scaling from some subskills
Would any minion builds fall in the "speed clear" category? I've noticed a lot of minion builds feel a bit on the slower side.
I mean falconer is technically a minion build xd
Hah, fair but that's a bit outside of what I was considering
Ye I gotchu. I can't think of any though tbh. Maybe some kind of acolyte sacrifice build?
But that's less minion and more using minions to use a spell
It depends on the class or item. Some classes have passives or Skill nodes that allow additional scaling. Or an item may have an additional effect. As a random example Acolyte Mastery Lich has a Reaper Form Skill with two nodes, Soul Shroud and Vile Shroud, that give you extra Armor, Poison Res, and Necrotic Res from Intelligence. Couple example items, Vilatria's set gives +Lightning Damage and Shock from Int, Ferebor's Chisel gives Totem Crit Chance from Int, Mad Alchemist's Ladle gives Cast Speed from Int, etc.
Ballista explosion is also pretty fast but that also doesn't really feel like a minion build imo
Spark charges also love int. Same with stygian coal and honestly even the new t-rex relic can make great use of something like cleaver solution to get some extra penetration from int.
I believe Viltaria's set bonus is +1 per 2 Int
Spellblade Passive > +1 per 2 int
Gotcha
Depends on what your definition of a thing is
Uber in less than a mintue
Is it possible to do? Yes. Should you do it? No
Lmao we can dream
Everything less doesnt exist
Maybe if you change that to hour
as a returning player before factions, can i join COF on my char thats finished the campaign, then make a new one and start with cof from the beginning?
there's two npcs in the starting town that'll let you choose
Yes
bet thx
On the first character in a game mode / shared stash, you'll need to reach Chapter 9, Maj'Elka Upper District. There you can join Merchant's Guild or Circle of Fortune. On subsequent characters in the same game mode / shared stash, they will be able to join an item faction in the first town in Chapter 1, Keeper's Camp.
🤔 never gave Beastmaster a fair shake but I think ima be spending a lot of time on it next patch. Why does it seem like every build has either Swipe or Serpent Strike?
haha appreciate the in deptth response
Serpent Strike is deadge
so are shared stashes just with the same game mode, or is it same class
Swipe has a lot of utility with Companions
in another few years all interns will learn this by osmosis
and we'll have consistency
Let's all pray 🙏
stash is normally unrelated to your class
yea itt was a silly question now that i think of it lmao, stash is for holding items that may be used for other builds/characters right?
🤔 hmm, so froggy build is gonna be very weird, since it doesn't have anyscaling with companions?
for the same reason why every mage build has flame ward: too small of a toolkit combined with most damage skills being self-sufficient so your average build is 1 damage skill and 4 "support"
Yes, but frogs seems to have giga Attribute scaling
I mean it's not the first build to mostly ignore its class main focus/mechanics
if you want weird then try void orb on sorc, it's literally got no void support in any other skill or passive tree whatsoever
it's a fancy name for your chest. It's shared between characters in the same "game mode" that don't have SFF selected
i.e. same season, same hc/sc status, etc
Anyone know a way to convert physical damage into another damage type?
cool cool
Depends on if you mean damage taken or damage dealt and what skill if so
Damage taken
so w seasonal characters, they become legacy characters once the season ends? or what happens with them
yes
This and ravenous void
hmm i may do a seasonal character then with CoF, i rem my main char a while ago got to emp monos thats it, or is it better do just do a legacy char for potential farming on the main char for uniques i may need for a build
I'd say it depends on how much you planv on playing tbh
Shared by all characters within the same game modes online and then separately same game modes offline. The exception is Solo Character Found challenge mode where these of a separate stash per character.
not much more of a casual
I'd recommend just going legacy then tbh
Will let you get through the early parts faster and experience the new mechanics and uniques and stuff easier
ic thanks
yea that would be better for me
alr thanks for the insight
True Sight Shatter Strike ? Cyborg
Yes, the Season characters and stash are transferred to Legacy. Note that all game modes have the same game content. Season has everyone starting over, new leaderboards, and new Merchant's Guild item faction economy.
Nah it's mid
Dodge chest
Wing of Discord
Ya
I am disappointed there is no Sceptre
The amulet is basically 170% crit multi
Which isn't bad but I already have a lot of multi
So it ends up not being much better than nihilis
If even
Truesight Amulet is 26% DPS boost but I lose +2 and my only source of frenzy plus the other stats nihilis gives
Oof
So it ends up being pretty even in dps if not a loss
And I lose the other stats
Not worth, meanwhile the chest is lit
crit chance caps at 100%, right? There's no over-crits or anything?
Truesight amulet allows that now
With the new amulet there is
Fair, trying to plan out froggy build though, guess 95 attunement should be the goal then?
Up to 40% to do a "Deadly Strike", a hit with 300% Extra Crit Multi
I do lose a bit of damage with the new chest (around 10% total inc and +2) but I gain insane effective DR and my idols become straight gas
Are you using weirdly shaped idols ?
No, way less
You need to find Minion Increased Crit
oh? how come?
Yeah I can use an optimal layout and have all the idols be useful
Ah, fair. 40 is super easy to hit. I'll nab some crit chance to fill out the rest. tyty
So I basically just get double the idols. Not really though since actual double would let me have duplicates of the "best" idols
I'd say around 1.7-1.8x the usefulness from idols compared to normal
Makes capping resistances way easier
Still double Atropos ?
Plus optimal layout leaves a 1x1 empty for a needle pog
Nah reen and Atropos
Crit Multi from reen is too big
Yea its 200% total
More than the new amulet
They just couldn't bare to make the new dex primo a sword smh
First traitors tongue now this
Yeah thats what the one I'm talking about
Ah ok
Every time an item fits spellblade they make it a dagger
I thought you meant the body armor
Which loses me 80% crit multi
There is no Primo Sword too
And like honestly the dagger is good enough to overcome that
But I'd rather just use the chest
Maybe you know
So an item with 2 affixes, but one of them is exalted
Is that a Magic or an Exalted for the spear
Oo
Ok
Don't think 0 works
I thougt having an exalted affix would make the item Exalted and not Magic anymore
But yeah that's why it got nerfed lul
You could still have double exalts with a seal in every slot
With the most insane weapon ever stat wise
Yup
Its funny, but none of the new items got me really excited, like I absolutely want to build around it
optimal layout, is that 28 1x1 weaver idols?
Need different shapes
You're thinking it the other idol unique
Wow !! Primalist idols on Spellblade
spellblade memes just write themselves
😏
the class is so bad its optimal idol layouts is primalist idols
Ah yes because the shapes are different between classes mb xd
smh my head
Smh my head is crazy work

It's a new unique?
Is there a new class in S3?
I missed that, first time to see
no.
First reaction: It's quite suitable for...bladedancer
But it's not a one hand sword unfortunately...
Oh primordial unique, ok
Require lv 75, my bladedancer is lv 71.
lol
No idea how to play poison bladedancer
Yes
Oh yes, I need that dagger to give me more skill levels to convert bleed chances to poison chance. Ok new unique on my collection list +1
Smoke weaver + Veloryn's jaw is golden. I can't imagine how enemies catch up me.
Hello everyone, so I am a new player to Last Epoch one of my friends gifted it to me after seeing it in my wishlist and I am having a ton of fun playing it, I saw the new season is coming so I am extra hyped. I hope all of you have a tremendous time playing and I look forward to seeing what you guys have built with your characters. Sorry this is a copy from general figured it was easier to do...LOL
Is the "% current hp lost/% missing hp as ward" something you go all in on? Or is there a threshold where its too much
shouldn't these have harvest as one of the related abilities?
because of the third modifier box is what im thinking of
Maybe it ran out of space or something lmao
All in
It can't ever kill you
Unless you disable Regen it even gets better the more you have
You can combine multiple, for example Exsanguinous or the new Architects of Astral Blood Body Armors, Last Steps of the Living Boots, and the Experimental Ward per Missing Health Prefix on Gloves. Note that they work based on % Missing Health, so if your Health pool is larger, you'll get more.
If you use astral blood, you might not need any others, though they will still improve your recovery
I honestly think astral blood is underrated
That thing is bussin
Haven't seen many people plan with it
Is it correct that Ward Limit is a cap on total Ward? I don't think I've seen that on other items before
(200% to 240%) of Maximum Health applied as a Ward Limit
What's the fastest way to level COF? Is it just based on XP gained?
I haven't played a Life -> Ward build since 1.0, I think. But I was already stacking life back then as well, so would with this item as well
But like at 4k hp you're already close to 10k limit
So the limit really isn't a big deal later on
Yes
And spending your favour
get exp & spend favor
Makes sense, ty
Yeah my currently drafted planner uses the primordial and has 4.6-5.5k life. If I can't get it done with 10-13k ward, the build has other issues than the ward to begin with
Yeah pmuch lol
Favor gain is tied to XP gain, even at level 100. Higher corruption and echo mods give increased XP gain. Spending 1x Favor gives 2x item faction Reputation. So be sure to actually spend your Rep. Doesn't matter how you spend it. There are also Favor cache Weaver Tree nodes. Note that there are diminishing returns on XP / Favor gain after 1k Corruption.
tyty, so sounds like just play the game lol don't have to do anything wonky
Yeah, just keep blasting and actually spend the Favor for Rep occasionally : )
It's more than double the ward gen of an exsang and it gives you massive ward decay threshold which is amazing. Like you can get your decay threshold to like 3k with it meaning if you generate enough wars for 6k normally now you'll generate enough for 9k
It is definitely a strong primordial that kinda solves your defensive scaling, but I think it's not super popular because defenses don't get the neurons activated
True. Have you guys seen people using the new dodge primo? That's what I'll be using
That thing is lit
the body armor one?
Ya
New wings? Haven't seen much talk about it yet, but does look quite spicy possibly
Yeah it's great for my build
Maomao posted a lich theorycraft vid today using the dodge chest
Hi Toast! 😁
kinda lets you have 2 of every idol except only huge or ornate and small or minor
Heya Storm! 😄
I need to look into wings of discord and the reliquary nest still, I'm sure there are some very interesting idol combos they enable
Reliquary might be better for stacking adorned and/or specifically grand or large
Yeah it's either this layout or instead of the ornate you use a huge
And tbf you can use both a small and minor they just won't get doubled
You just won't have that convenient needle slot lul
lol
I wonder if the needle disables your doubled small/minor
not that that's a big deal
Oh wait it totally would lmao
Rip
No needle slot sadge
They should make an exception imo
I know they were gonna for the idol
I think Mike said he's make an exception for the other one
Yea
Maybe something to ask for in ask dev, or suggestions. Just to get it in front of some eyes if it's not to already planned in the sweep.
Oh yeah
Oh neat
"all other equipped non-unique idols"
Needle slot sheeeesh
I am a true arpg player, I don't read
Don't need to be like 8 res under capped for it
Definitely an interesting upgrade to ornate/huge stacking
though I guess nest lets you have 3.2 ornate/huge idols, discord just lets you fill out more of the other ones
Okay so yeah now reading the text again this layout is genius, provided you find at least something you want in all shapes. For some builds some shapes really are just the most useless things imaginable
Spellblade has something for every slot
I've already mapped it out
Check this bad boy out sheeeesh
24% inc mana and 36% cdrr lord
Oo
Surge Gaming ?
Yeah I prefer surge for movement tbh
I thought you were playing TP
Safer ?
now what kind of build is a Toilet Paper?
Yeah much safer since it basically guaranteed stuns everything you dash into and grants a bunch of ward plus you're immune while dashing
Necro build, summon mummy
Teleport it's quite normal to get smacked while casting it lmao
For the Egyptian season 10
Or get smacked instantly when you arrive if you tp to the edge of the screen and there's an enemy right outside of vision
Mana solutions that aren't bound in 1x1 idols. The Lich in me is jealous 😭
Grand is also gas
It hurts. IT HURTS CYBORG
Inside me there are two wolves, one wants to use flay, the other wants to have mana.
What good is mana if you don't use it
Is this a primordial unique? It has a ? In its details
Its not
It has to drop from a rift beast to function so
Hi guys, is it possible to shatter a set item in the woven echo, craft the affix on an exhalted then put it into a unique with legendary potential?
No
No
Since it becomes a set item
do you guys think it will be worth doing all the campaigin with the new chap 10 to get the primodial marchent before monos?
Which you can't put in the eternity cache
oo I see, tyty
Ehhh, probably just going to do the standard 15/15 8/8, then monos myself, but I'll hop back to do the rest before the Lv90 normals.
Once T7s start entering the drop table I'll want all my options open.
Guaranteed drop from every rift beast lineage you complete
looks like Chapter 10 gives you +1 all stats at some point as well though, so if +1 all stats is something that's useful to your build it's worth it
any acolyte build should i follow that will also work with the new update?
Oh yeah, 9 and 10 do that. I've always gone back, it's just not something I tend to need for early normal monos, and the exp at that point helps more/is faster
it look like a good item to farm the primodals mats
I mean +1 to all is useful for all builds. Why wouldn't you do it real quick once you're in empowered or something
I'm going to at least do it the first time before mono's just to see the story
Even at the very tail end of things. +2 everywhere is less manipulating I have to do for red rings. Always good.
We just need a dungeon next season that skips to the end of ch 10 lol
Is there a thorns/reflect build/class in this game?
Yeah there are some builds people have been making with the new primordial chest piece
would be sentinal, it wasn't very effective, but this league there is a new chest piece that makes it so much more viable
Do we know which three primordial uniques are drop only?
well one of them is the one that summons a rift beast
as the riftbeast is based off the mob you killed
That isn't primordial though
i think the bleed golves?
They said 3 of the 25 primordials don't come from the vendor
The only one I know is the bleed gloves yeah
I guess we could compare the vendor list (as it's shown in a few videos)
luckly my amulet I saw in the vendor list 🙂
Both gloves and one of the amulets
Guys will an abomination absorbing a minion while it’s active increase its damage? Or does that only count for the initial summon?
Are missing from the vendor screen shot
only for initial I think, the absorb heals the abom i think
though it might add a little extra damage/max life temporarly as they in the video said it works like wraithlords do
"The abomination remembers the minions absorbed to create it and will rapidly devour those minions to restore 10% of its maximum health."
is there any way to find a previous version of a build on maxroll? came back from the weekend and it's been updated for new season already.
Wayback machine possibly
Guys should I just abandon my soul reave abomination build and go physical? I deadass can’t find anything to buff necrotic damage or non physical melee damage in acolyte’s skill set 😭😭😭
Only thing that really buffs it is dread shade, anyone have any tips?
Don’t want a necrotic dot build just want a cool necrotic abomination melee 🙁
Don't got enough generic minion dmg?
I know Weaver's Tree got some changes due to people printing 4lp rare items, but no clue what changed. If I'm chasing 3LP Naal's Tooths, do I just shove a naal's tooth in there or a high LP sword?
Shove in a naal's tooth yeah
did they ever nerf the exiled mages echo farm till lv 100 strat
You don't need to ask that in every channel
Not even sure what strat you're talking about
For Thornshell, since it's the only way to truly scale your flat reflect damage with Thicket of Blinding Light if you have 160 Attunement and a 9% per attunement shield (Which would come out to 1440% increased flat damage reflected) is it Flat x 14.40 or would it be Flat x 1440. Because I feel the second is wrong
rune prison complex
Where do I report a (very minor) Lastepochtools bug?
You’d be surprised to know almost no skill in acolyte buffs generic minion damage lmao
Nope, which is wild considering it's the necro class
Or minion melee damage for that matter
I’m saying
There's a discord for LEtools I'm pretty sure
Thought this minion rework would do more
1440% increased is a multiplier of x15.4
You mean 14.4?
Oh I see what you mean. Makes sense
So about 150,827.6 dps just by being looked at.
Honestly, not bad considering the only real method to scale this is via one shield
What's annoying is that even the chestplate itself doesn't scale the damage because it's more instead of increased flat.
Wait maybe not. Hold on
Are there any updated skill/passive sims with the updates from the patch notes? Or would we need to wait for the actual patch to launch for that?
It's also not bad considering it ignores enemy damage reduction, so it's like 10 times higher than you'd think since it doesn't get 87% less damage
It should x5 the boss dps
Both le tools and maxroll are updated for the most part (some things are missing and get added with time)
yeah thorns should be extreamly solid this patch
Yeah, depending on how effective "enemies facing you" is, it will be extremely solid I think
at least we know stationary enemies and loot lizards always count as facing you
So i've not been keeping up with LE for like a year now, but would like to try out the new season when it comes out. Any recommendations for which build to try (and what faction to join) for a guy that can only spend like 5 hours a week on the game ?
5hours a week, avoid merchants guild. The market will leave you behind.
last season there was a very specific bug where frenzy totem did not work in a specific woven echo only. where can i check if this has been fixed next season?
there's a lot of cool builds this league but I'm not sure which would be good starters.
The ones I've theorycrafted are all high investment builds
Yea need to find a good fun starters one asw
i think primal gear is gonna be a grind to get, so maybe avoid builds that rely on em
Thank you for this advice, I was actually going to go merchants until I read this xD and yes I can see how the market rate will gut me
One of the biggest things I can say is try to optimize your time in LE
Set up a good loot filter so you can breeze thru monos without cluttering up your stash. And don't grab gear for other maybe builds.
You'll get a lot more out of your time that way.
LE Tools discord linked here https://discord.com/channels/368953963267096586/1375507034518192229
Although the bug report channel there is currently closed as there's a lot being updated
thank you!
how would y'all lvl a mage on season start? max roll recommends glacier into dual wield shatter strike at around 35, but glacier feels meh
best slam for bastion probably block effectiveness right
but then i dont have many hours and it might be the best option
outside of weaver imprinting, whats the best way to acquire a red ring?
just pray to rnjesus?
Is Vessel of Strife particularly hard to get if playing MG?
Was considering a sabertooth Cleaver Solution build with it.
You're welcome to use something else. The Terek person that does those guides does a lot of speed running, so they're based on doing it quickly. But you can really go through the Campaign with whatever build you come up with on your own if you prefer. I made up my own silly build on my first play through and was able to beat the Campaign. I'm sure a lot of others have as will
For CoF run Unique Ring Prophecies, make sure it's not Jewelry Prophecy which would also include Amulet and Relic. And use Rings that require CoF with Rune of Ascendence - CoF Rank bonus gives 45% chance to not consume Rune with CoF required items.
hey all, im looking at getting the game but i was wondering if its worth getting already or should i wait for this new update? also does it matter if i make a character now or after the update?
It's from T4 Julra in Temporal Sanctum. You could check with #💰┃merchants-guild about it. I got a number of them while just doing Legendary Crafting this season with CoF, but I'm not sure about MG prices. https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzAsCZQRiA
Thanks!
When Season 2 ends, any characters made in Season game mode will be copied along with Stash to Legacy game mode. You can continue to play characters in Legacy, if you want. There is currently no game content difference between Legacy and Season game mode.
If you're interested in starting over, optional don't have to, you can choose to make a new character in new Season. Everyone there starts over, there is new leaderboards, and the Merchant's Guild item faction has an economy reset.
new season comes out this Thursday, i would definitely wait to start a new character until then as there are seasonal mechanics that i dont think are in legacy... might be wrong though
Note there's going to be 24 hours of server downtime the day before update. If you play offline, you can set game to True Offline mode in Steam and continue to play while servers are offline.
If you block in LE does it still count as getting hit? Say for the purpose of dmg reflected?
Yes
thanks
Block and Parry, yes. Dodge, no.
Makes sense
Parry is just block for 2hs, right?
It's on some 1H as well
I was eyeballing potential mods to put on a Harmony, and 60%+ parry seems really good
It's just "PoE block", basically
I had some ideas for harmony but the lich rework nerfed em D:
If you're not low life, it feels like it's still very good for minion builds
Note that item may be changed a bit. This was posted in the ask devs channel #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message
Yeah, I saw that it's already been enrfed from 30-35 to ..I think it's 15-20 now?
letools had it at 20-25 for a minute, so I'm hoping it won't get nerfed further.
I just find it funny when it was at 30-35 reddit was trashing it for being a weak item.
I think it's absurd for day 1 no matter what though 🤔
Giving up 2 affixes on ever piece isn't a huge issue when your affixes are just whatever you find on the ground lol
It needs a little loot lizard with a crown to sit on it.
I have noticed that merophage does not feature prominently in builds, though it seems like an extremely powerful weapon as it can bypass slamming. am i missing something about its limitations?
Is there a mastery that does the best at damage reflect? I see one passive in Druid is all. Not sure about skill nodes yet. Wasn't sure if Sentinel had better options?
iirc, bad base.
but i think we'll see some use out of it now that we can overleech with lich
before it was a bit hard to make leech builds like that work without constant lifeloss.
what's the thought on Flay Lich? Bosser? Speed farmer? All-rounder?
Forgeguard ig
gotcha. i used it on a couple different things and really liked it.
It helps that one of the meta 2h swords just got nerfed pretty hard. w/o competeing with Clotho's, might have more room to breathe
ah. i never used clothos.
