try crafting with the forge early...just with useless items so get a grip on how it works. how important purple items with tier 7 are...even more so with multiple tier 6/7. dont sell items for gold like its not really worth any gold and you find much more in the same time instead of selling

hover with your mouse over a item and press alt or control alt and you can see the item ranges like 1-5 strength and also the tier of the affixe. like tier 1 strenght gives you 1-5 strenght and tier 2 gives 6-10 strenght and so on until tier 7 ^^

The single most damning mistake one can make is choosing a pet that's not cute at all, like Wraithlord, over a reasonably adorable pet, like Abomination.

Hey yall, I am really trying here but I feel like I’m getting more lost the more I learn and play.

I beat the campaign at level 45 or 50. I’ve been running echos and am 69 now. I switched my loot filter from the rogue leveling guide to the umbral falcon guide. But since level 40 or so I haven’t really found any items. I pick them up and then the loot filter just says to salvage it for a stat ect.

Is end game gearing just mostly doing echos then finding a decent yellow item to ascend and then adding stats by “slamming” it?

I am just doing echos until I can’t anymore because I’m not sure what I should be doing

yes endgame is mostly monolith echoes...but you will more likely find purple items...so yellow items but with higher numbers on affixes and you dont ascend them but craft with other runes and glyps and that you do slam with uniques 😇 slamming is you take a unique an exalt these purple items and do the temporal sanctum dungeon and as reward you can put some affix from the purple item to the unique. but the unique needs legendary potential on it. though there are other things you can do like shatter set items to get set shards and put these on purple items to get set bonus with items that have better stats for you ^^

yout get 1-6 shards of that affix. if you have 5 shards you can craft it on a item and up to tier 5. tier 5 is maximum craftable and tier 6/7 can only be found ^^

Wht does legendary potential means on gear?

It indicates how many affixes a unique can take on from an exalted piece in the eternity cache. 1LP = 1 transferred affix. The eternity cache is the large obelisk looking machine at the end of the Temporal Sanctum. You put a unique and a matching item type exalted item in (with 4 unsealed affixes) and slam them together. If you run the Temporal Sanctum at T2+ you can guarantee 1 affix to transfer, otherwise the process is random. So more LP means more chances of the affixes you want making the jump

My case now is imprint high FP66 armor T7x3=Tons of FP33-66 T7x2 armor 30/3 will be T7x3.
This is base on my experience, i got full page of T7x2 armor and just made 3Lp titan heart T7x3.
Affixes mostly very random btw, just seal 1 affix and wash another 1 with redemption.

Really dislike that some people here forgot they way they have come from. Some can't even respect an Uber kill in HC if it was done by one of the 3 classes that are commonly used.
As if that would just kill uber as drive by if you choose the right build^^

1: Dun have uber gear for surviving and dps(Glove and relic)
2: They wearing alot surviving gear, the slower the kills the more dangerous it get, specialy the abberoth helm will burn ur mana= less dps+ cant life leech.

super fast into endgame, then you level very fast in monoliths that you can easily just turn empowered after a single 90 timeline finish. you will reach 80+ in hours on a new char with full SP and idols

if you got some pal giving you TPs and rushing dungeons, you can even short that one to like <30 minutes to empowered monos. just gotta have some juicy low level high LP gear if you go for the absolute fastest method, as doing empowered monos on a sub 40 char is kinda... dangerous at bad gear, since you will lack high level items. need to make up with great leveling gear.

LP 0 into Nemesis Egg. Chance to add LP or Legendary affix.
LP 1+ into Farsight Turtle woven echo. Rerolls LP and the chance seems similar to item's LP chance. Which means you'll get a lot of LP 0, that can go into Egg, and very rarely something better.

On the positive side, it's asynchronous and you don't have to trade with the other person. As in the buyer/seller doesn't need to be online, so if you buy it, you immediately get it. And you don't have to message 20+ people hoping one responds and invites you. I like PoE but trading for some items is just awful. The currency exchange PoE started doing last League is kind of like how LE Bazaar functions. Yeah LE Bazaar could use some additional polish and they do update it over time. Hopefully it keeps becoming easier to use.

The sub type, such as Katana, doesn't matter. The item can have a Sealed affix, but it is ignored and doesn't count towards the 4x required affixes.

You get 1x guaranteed transfer with Temporal Sanctum dungeon tier 2 or higher. Any remaining LP randomly selects from the remaining affixes on the Exalted item to transfer.

for acolyte likely torment, for mage likely some kind of hydrahedron rm or glacier sorc, but honestly all of these are pretty shit imo (well except the torment one, it works pretty ok'ish) rogue on the other side is really great, it has a lot super speedy builds that clear the entire screen in no time, pretty much anything you pick works well (just don't touch blade dancer, the mastery, it sucks really bad, except if you really know what you are doing I guess), you can try Ballista or Umbral Blades Falconer, or if you want to try something else you can give heartseeker or multishot marksman a try.

i'm playing a flame reave self cooked spell blade atm, and it's not the greatest i would say atm, i did kill aberroth with it, but it needs a lot gear to work well, otherwise it will even suck in non empowered monoliths. No clue about shatter strike , it's likely a lot better though, and is known as a well working boss killer build, well... before the 1.2 update 😂 )

Hi all. If I know that I only want to use one type of unique weapon (a 2h sword, for example), should I set my filter to only show me weapon drops for that weapon type? Is it correct that you can only slam a LP unique into an exalt of the same type? Additional context, I'm CoF faction so I have no use for trading, and I only want to play one character this season so I don't need to collect stuff for alts.

For Legendary crafting with Temporal Sanctum that's correct, same base type such as One-Handed Sword -> One-Handed Sword. The sub type, such as Katana, doesn't matter for LP crafting.

As far as filtering out all other weapons, you may want to hold off doing that until you've gotten some crafting materials. Although that's usually not as much of an issue with weapons as it is for class armor.

Usually the damage affix is better. It does depend on your build though, technically.
