The slots in the weavers tree that you put that helmet into gives you more chances to drop similar items to that including the affixes so might be best to put the +4 helm in there to up your chances of dropping more +4 so you can imprint on 1lp bases whilst having ways to boost the chance to get more

Not fully, and there likely never will be a full skip. They made the dungeon skips much better though, each dungeon gives you the equivalent of 2 passive point side quests and 1 idol slot side quest on first completion per character (assuming you didn't finish your quest rewards).

there's still a range it rolls in, but it's the highest it can be. You can also take a purple item and use it in a slightly complicated process that consumes the purple item and adds one of its affixes to a unique item, in the hopes that you get the tier 6 or 7 stat to transfer over. This is often called "slamming" in the le community, and creates 'legendary' items.

correct, but you can add legendary potential to a unique that doesn't have it. The Nemesis enemies you encounter can have an "egg" that you replace with a legendary item, and if you do that the legendary item either gains legendary potential or weavers will.
So it's still RNG, but you can add it to things.

The problem is I have zero uniques for that build (or any other build), do I just keep farming on this until I can get a couple of those uniques to drop? Maxroll recommends to wait until lvl70 anyways, should I tough it out for just a bit longer? Well it's just how it is, you get accelerated exp if you're under the "expected" level and there's also minimum level which you'll never lose though, and later on you get so much exp that it's not really a big deal
