You just don't put a point into Warrior's Fury until you can sustain it for a bit. Like get the reduced channel cost affix on Helmet at T5 first and +mana on gear so that Void Well, which does 30% of max mana, helps more. Even then the cost is going to get so high over time that you'll automatically stop channeling and restart channeling again

Respeccing and releveling skills is pretty painless. The skill respec is free, you can do it any time & anywhere, and it's pretty fast to relevel skills in the end game. Like 1-2 echoes.

Passive point respecs just uses the regular in game gold you have a ton of and you can do it in any town with the Head / Brain NPC. The passive respecs has some requirements such as you need at least 20 points in your base class and it will let you know if you're trying to respec out of a passive that won't work due to requirements such as another passive requiring what you're trying to remove. There's also adding a mastery respec next update.

You can 'slam' together some uniques (those with lp - legendary potential) and a 'normal' item to make a legendary. The theoretical best would be 4lp legendaries in every slot, but the chances of that are a gazillion to one.

But many uniques are good regardless, without any LP.

Yeah, they are good. Most are aimed at high levels of minimax that most players will find unnecessary.

For example they only have one levelling build per class, but you can easily level as any mastery.

LE is one of the more approachable ARPGs to just wing it and make your own build.

LE crafting feels better than PoE2 crafting. But if you're playing online and doing the buying/selling item faction, Merchant's Guild, note that items in LE can only be bought or sold once. So if you like flipping items in PoE you can't do that in LE. On purpose.

Around chapter 9 in the main story you will get to choose to join either the Merchant's Guild (the trading faction) or the Circle of Fate (the solo self found faction). Anything that you do that earns XP will earn you favour with the faction you chose, higher ranks give better perks (for example you need a certain rank to be able to buy and sell unique items in the Merchant's Guild)

But content is not exclusive to the season. You can play all content on legacy as well. The season is just for a fresh start and leaderboards

Depends how you define a brick. The brick people usually mean nowadays is missed legendary slams, which is partially rectified by letting you guarantee one affix of your choice this season. You'll still be on RNG for other affixes though.

Max party size is 4, campaign lengths depends on your playstyle - if you speed run it, it's a few hours, but if you take your time, listen to dialogue, etc, it's more like 10-20 hours ish?

Ah okay, it's 9 chapters so far out of 12 planned ones for the campaign; and technically there is a bit more story beyond the campaign because all the post-campaign stuff is "canon" and sorta acts as an extension of the story. It's not a super long story, but it's pretty neat imo, looking forward to the last 3 chapters whenever they come

Yep! CoF only has the tag if you got the drop from one of the CoF mechanics. It's why a lot of the mechanics interact w/ them like the 45% chance to not consume runes of ascendancy when ascending a cof item.

Though if you're in CoF, almost all items you find without the CoF tag will be marked untradeable anyway, which allows your MG alts to equip them, but they cannot be sold on the bazaar.

LE is best played blind. The game teaches you enough to get you to endgame and it's forgiving enough with respeccing that you can try things out without fear of bricking a character.

The biggest barrier is that you need to remember to use it. You can craft through the whole game, not save all your mats for the endgame

easy compared to poe. Very intuitive but you can also brick items early.
Legendary crafting got a nice update where you can guarantee the first affix you craft on it if you use a tier 2 or higher dungeon to craft it.

they've said more masteries are quite likely and more actual base classes are a "maybe in the distant future" thing

They plan on adding both new masteries and base classes, but masteries first. Apparently, they've already even decided on the next mastery to add.
It'll probably be a long time before they add a base class just due to the work required.
