Yeah, +X melee damage has no type associated, so it'll match whatever type the skill uses (fire for fire warpath). It would still apply to fire warpath if it were something like +X melee physical damage, but it would stay physical and you'd deal a mixture of damage types.

Resist pen is more or less (no pun intended) a more multiplier to your damage. With no other factors, having x% resist pen makes your character do x% more damage under most circumstances. So it's certainly valuable, and more difficult to obtain in large quantities compared to %increased damage (unless you mean flat +phys damage?). I'd say every build wants some resist pen and/or resist shred in addition to good flat added damage

If you're playing CoF, the West telescope can have Despair Prophecies. The telescope with Idols, creating stuff, and keys. Just have to check what Glyph the Prophecy is for as there can also be Hope, etc.

If you stack enough Freeze Multi, you can stun bosses. Solo builds can do that currently. As enemies have increased health in Multiplayer, you'd may need some extra Freeze Multi though. As the higher health the enemy has, they become more difficult to Freeze.

T2 sealed affixes are made by using glyph of despair while attempting to upgrade a T2 affix - it's not a guaranteed success, but your best odds are on an exalted 4-affix item. The chance drops dramatically as the affix tier goes up, and once it's T5 you can no longer seal.

You can Seal with Glyph of Despair and for Experimental Affix, Rune of Research. But items can only have one Experimental Affix, so for Glyph of Insight, it's just going to be Despair Seal that you'd be using.

Edit: to add onto what Toast was saying. The chance to Seal varies by item rarity, number of Affixes on the item, and the Tier of the Affix you're trying to Seal. They get the stats since they are your minions, and then the gloves give them the minion stats... which improves minions summoned by your minions. There's only like two minions in the game that can have minions of their own, so generally giving them minion stats is a waste.

1. I've occasionally had the Rare rewards cough up an Exalted. I'm not sure about Unique.
2. You can use a site like LE Tools Builds section and put "poison" in the filter to see some builds. I don't know about 'really good'. Poison used to be incredibly powerful a couple years ago, but it was nerfed a bit. https://www.lastepochtools.com/builds/

Guys, I have a question about Heorot fight in The Age of Winter...
I am playing a zookeeper necro, and my cold resist is capped.
My minions are very tanky, and they can handle the fight itself just fine (I occasionally need to respawn a skeleton or skeletal mage).
What makes this fight problematic is Heorot quickly moving away while casting blizzard, even with +35% movement speed, I can't reach him in time, even while spamming all my potions.
That way, it comes down to luck to beat him, basically praying he doesn't move too far.

Any advice on this?

You can't use gear, that's right. If you want to switch, I recommend keeping some drops that are close to what you want and don't have a faction lock. Keep those in your stash then swap factions so you won't be naked. Then do some non-empowered monos if you can't do empowered ones. That should be easy and they should drop some decent gear and help you level up the faction rep

If I have Maehlin's Hubris and Bleeding Heart, every time I cast a spell I'll get a stack of burning, right? Then if I have Immolator's Oblation, that means I'll get get bonus spell power per bleed stack... If I spam Hungering Souls, and get 40 stacks, and have Curse of Perseverance to convert Hungering Souls into projectiles, doesn't that mean I can have it shoot out 11 projectiles that will be getting a minimum of 160 spell damage per projectile? That's almost 2k BASE damage per cast just from the belt? Is that busted or am I tripping?

"target farm" just refers to how there's special echo rewards in different timelines. These will give you a random Unique/Set item of that item type, but not boss-only items.

Example, in Fall of the Outcasts you may find echoes that give a random Unique/Set Bow or Quiver. So it's just extra drop chances at getting an item you're looking for. Again, not boss-only items.

Note that the items from the special echo rewards are all world drop items, so you can get them from anywhere, including Rune of Ascendance and CoF Prophecies. These special echo rewards are again just extra drop chances.

The echo webs and corruption is separate. The stability is shared, so you should both be able to fight the boss at the same time. I believe it shares the monolith unlocks. If you might play some solo later, you may want to trade off party leader when you start doing corruption so you both can increase it. If you're only playing together, it doesn't really matter.

If you have a prophecy with a /8 times completion, you have to complete the task 8 times before you get the reward from it. Any other drops you get are either random or from other prophecies. It should say "prophecy advanced" or whatever it says, when you complete one of the X steps of it

Shattering doestn't guarantee you get all the affixes off of an item, it's completely random. If you want to make sure you pick off exactly what you need from an item, use the rune of removal instead. Mostly what's interesting is the base of the item, not the affixes (unless for removal/shattering)

This ended up not being correct... there is definitely something bugged. I completed it for the 8th time, it said "prophecy fulfilled", and disappeared from my list. I did not get any unique weavers item drop, I disabled loot filter and everything. Ended up only getting a unique weavers on 2/8 of the runs...

I don't know what to tell you then. If you have a 0/8 completion prophecy, you have to complete the task 8 times to get your drop. If you don't, it's probably hidden with a loot filter or something. I have never had any issue with any of this. As you obviously are having issues with it, use the in-game bug reporting tool, or #1210281997591908452 to report it to the devs.

Exactly so. Although the rune of removal burns through crafting potential, so if you have low CP you might not get all the affixes off (glyph of hope works here), and if you're still stuck with 1-2 affixes that you couldn't take off with rune of removal, you can still shatter it and hope for the best even if you're down on 0 CP.

Oh removal is also a random affix, got it. Is the FP you lose completely random or is there some distribution to it? And how much FP do you need to use a rune of removal? For example I have a chest with T3 + skill, T1 health and T3 poison res, but a removal costs 1 to 25 of the 20 FP remaining. I'm assuming the first rune would always work, the second one will work if it ended up costing less than 20?

no, what you do is, spread out as far away from the center as possible, because that will increase the amount of stability per node. Then, you do at least 2 questline bosses (like heorot for the age of winter questline), so you can get the gaze of orobys. Only then do you fight the Shade, as you then get 10 corruption per boss kill (after the 2nd, it gets diminishing returns)

The more corruption you have, the more stability you generate per node, so it ends up accelerating the questline farming quite a lot

3rd edit: and you can 'transfer' corruption from one timeline to the other by killing orobys. So, say you have 300 in one timeline, if you kill orobys in another, you'll gain like 70 bonus on the first kill, then again, until you're very close to the max corruption from your highest corrupted timeline

200 is not required for grand blessings. It just gives you 5 options instead of 4, which makes grinding for a certain blessing easier. For pushing corruption, when you kill a boss, you get a gaze of orobyss. Those give bonus corruption. Usually people do 3 bosses while pushing further away (orobyss corruption can go higher than 4. I saw 18 e.g.) and then do orobyss to get all the corruption

Armour can go negative, rather than armour shred itself scaling dropping off, I think if you get a certain point past their armour scaling drops off. Which varies.

well if it does go negative then sure investing in it is worth to a point it is not bothering other scallings too much, but idk if they put any special limits or caps on shred itself since all i can see for info is that it lasts 4 sec, is unlimited and applies +100 negative armour

I set up a hide rule that hides normal and magic items, but it's down bottom on the list. I'm not sure it's in conflict with other rules because it's an emphasize rule, not just show - items shows up in pink capital letters.

Also disabling other rules doesn't change anything

In normals, no. Keep going. In empowered fighting the boss can help you push corruption faster through gazes. So its really based on whatever you're doing.

hard to say. Really depends how you play and how much you play and which builds you play. Best i can suggest if you know what all builds you wana play this season is to look what they use and save those and maybe like some general good combo ones with good rolls like double health ones etc

Im having a ton of trouble killing tier 4 Julra as a warlock. Seems like every ability 1shots me. Playing a low life build with over 6000 ward minimum and capped resistences, but I still get 1 shot by everything.

yea julra still hits like a truck even with good defenses. just have to learn the fight, play it really well, and make sure you dodge most of her moves. A lot of her damage is also dot dmg which isnt reduced by armor, dodge, glancing blows, etc

There's a few abilities you need to watch out for, but they're all telegraphed.

• The big white floor effect means you need to change time, of course.
• After she follows after you to the other time, she'll do a telegraphed Void puddle that is dropped where you're standing after a little bit. So stand on an edge until it gets dropped. That keeps it away from where you're going to be fighting.

Then watch for:
• Cone cold attack, telegraphed.
• Circle lightning attack, telegraphed.

You just need to watch for those telegraphed attacks while you're dodging the spinning void beams and dealing with pillar things.

You can craft anything. T6/T7 mods can't be crafted they are drop only. As long as an item has forging potential there is some type of crafting you can do to it if you want. Can't craft on uniques.

I suppose technically you could pick up a white item and try to craft it but its not generally done because they have low amounts of forging potential. Picking up rares/exalted items that have at least 1 affix you want is going to get you where you want to be to get started. You can add/remove affixes on gear to further fine tune things to your liking.

The wording is a bit confusing. Such bonuses mean the resists you stack above 75. So at let's say 150 resists (which is normally almost useless) you get the bonus of 75 uncapped resist

It can drop on normal but your better off always farming on empowered monos. Drop rates in general are just better, exp is better. The sooner you're in empowered monos the better.

Bosses give corruption indirectly through the gazes. Gazes give extra corruption on top of the corruption gained fighting orobyss. The further from the center you go the more corruption you'll gain when you fight him.

if you kill shade with any gazes (you lose them if you die to him) you get bonus corruption
10 for the first two kills, then it diminishes from there

It caps out eventually yeah. You'll push out far enough to where each line ends in an orobyss fight. Its best to push out as far as you can and gain a few gazes before you fight him at least to maximize your corruption gains.
