Empowered monolith -you need to kill the bosses of all the lvl 90 monos and then go to the device in the middle of all of them(it will be highlighted in your map, you can't miss it).
If it doesn't get highlighted or if a short cut-scene doesn't happen when you get there, it is most likely a game breaking bug that you should let devs know about.Im there , no cut scene. Nothing happens at all. Restart did nothing to fix it .

5 is your base amount of crit, it's a flat percentage you start with. The rest of crit on gear is a percentage increase of that flat amount. Even with 0.05 you can get the same number. 0.05*.74 = 0.037. 0.037 + 0.05 = 0.087 = 8.7%. 😄

The single biggest issue right now is that there is just not enough hardware to support the number of players trying to play. It gets worse during NA prime time, and better in the early morning hours.

They are simply riding the wave and hoping that eventually the rush will normalize as players space out their attempts to play or wait a week or two, because they are unwilling to fork over the cash to expand their hardware. From a business perspective the hardware goes to waste when the initial rush of a game release dies down and it isn't needed anymore.

Yes you should be able to trust launch dates but this isn’t a new issue and isn’t unique to LE.

Path of exile is a very established game yet they have had and will continue to have bad season launches the majority a new season launches.

D4 is owned by a multibillion dollar company and their servers on launch were unplayable for almost a whole week and they dwarf the resources that LE has access to many times over.

TBH I'm disappointed by EHG response to fixing the issue
On launch day its was okay, the team was responsive and informative, but as days went by and the problems were not fixed, the communication between EHG and the player kept dwindling, from getting an update every 30 mins to 4 hours with no updates from the team.

cannot travel to the bazaar, cannot travel anywhere. Game was working flawlessly last night, and this morning. Was really really enjoying it and even turned my review around. Was really buying into this game, stopped playing D2R cause this was just so much more fun. Was loving the endgame, the bazaar, makingmy own build, was excited to do dungeons and arena, play with others.

Now we are unable to play at all again several days after launch, its getting really depressing. I set aside time to play and then the servers are just randomly not working and all that set aside time is lost. How long til this is fixed? Any update on what changed from earlier this morning to today?

The devs already said that issues relate to authentification as you go from instance to instance. It's valuable for them to keep it up since it let's them monitor what does and doesn't work.

This game is far from a scam, if you have issues with the servers just play offline. Servers will be fixed, it has got progressively better with time. Too much success at once could hurt a game at first, not to mention the mob mentality people have only causes unneeded discourse.

The game is pretty good guys, you complain too much.
If it was Wow or any other game with an issue no one would care this much but since its a release and a small company everyone wants a refund.
Just let the team work on a way to fix it. Beta was pretty fun, i had a blast in the last weeks before launch.

As of last night, I had 3 of 4 drops, and I had them in game as well. If you managed to get the drop on twitch, while still in game, they likely won't show up, at least they didn't for me. I ended up finding that if I just exited game and logged back in and they would appear. Not sure if this is a fix, but it worked for me

Normally less then 2 hours, but they can and do make exceptions. Exceeding 2 hours because the game never connects there is a high chance you will still be refunded as it is broken and not working.

Why Cyberpunk 2077 got so many after 2 hour refunds, if its broken then you can still get one.

The only problem I have with playing offline mode is that you cannot take your offline character to online mode, and vise versa. So the time I spend building an offline character will not be applicable when I want to do online stuff.
You have to build characters for both modes? And mainly because 'online doesn't work right now'.
