You don't sound like an auction goblin. Flooding the market with unlimited items creates a massive downward push in pricing, profit and viability of the merchant guild. This is one of the basics of goblins in games.

The favor system makes sure that you don't spam the market with trash or push down prices too much. And it's also better than a hard cap on how many items you can list, because the latter idea (capping item count) doesn't scale for big sellers. Favour scales for good sellers.

Saw the FAQ that you cannot transfer online characters to offline due to save structure difference. That means that there is no way to play your online character offline correct? Am I misunderstanding something? How is it even possible to beat the Emperor of Corpses boss if your movement skill is lunge. You need an enemy to target to move, and he just kills you with his screen-wide explosion. Maybe it's possible to tank somehow, but it seems dubious.

If you intend to buy and sell items, pick MG, if not, pick CoF, and yes you can change, but items aquired through faction mechanics are tagged for that faction, and cannot be used after you switch, so you'll need at least some new gear if you change.

No you will only get them by doing quests that says the reward gives you idols or passive points. (You can also see how many you need left for you to max them out when you open your map if you didn't know already.)
You can't see where specific quests are either so you'd have to find the important ones yourself as well.

CoF is really strong and all around just good. Not bottlenecked and all the reputation ranks just make grinding for gear so much more manageable. Adding prophecies helps even more.
Favor makes buying and selling a pain, especially when you have to rely on going to the bazaar, and really more just other people in general having items you want/need and actually putting them up. Not to mention with how servers are atm, going to bazaar isn't really fun. Just too reliant on others.

Long Wait Time / Items & Game Not Loading
I found a weird fix to the long loading times. It seems like whenever you disconnect "leave game" then reconnect, things will load almost instantly like how they should. I started noticing some weird issues when playing for over an hour each time like health bars not loading, mini map icons being blank, and some rubber banding. Which all was resolved after I logged out and back in of the game. Almost like the server is running out of "space" for each user.

Long Wait Time Workaround TLDR;

• Log out of the game by pressing escape and selecting "Leave Game".
• Log back in and resume playing as normal for about 1-2 hours.

THe door sealed with a powerful rune is not where you go to enter the time rift, it's where you go after you come back. Go back to The Armoury zone, fight your way through it to Lower something whatever, and fight the guy again, the rift should re-appear after you pick up the shard. That worked for me anyway earlier today when the same thing happened to me.

No, frostbite is a dot, and will be influenced by "Increased damage over time" affixes.
@wild epoch Yes. You might have to use up to 4 of them to hit the right affix, but when you hit it, it will give you appropriate shards.

Faction progress is account wide (per league/cycle/season) so if you switch factions all of your characters in that cycle that have access to that stash will also switch factions.

Also, items found with CoF and traded for with MG require your to be a certain rank with that faction to equip that item. So you cannot go CoF for sweet drops, then switch to MG for a couple trades of really powerful items, then switch back to CoF.

If you wanted to switch from CoF to MG mid-cycle you will have to go through a period of time with crappy gear (as your really gear acquired while you were aligned with COF will be locked). This doesn't seem to be a bad idea considering you might be able to use white rarity base items and craft some gear to get going after the switch.

Good question, I'm actually not 100% sure on that... if it's triggered, it's entirely possible that spell damage may apply. But increased damage over time and the tag for the damage type (cold in this case) definitely will apply. Should be pretty easy to build a test item that has the 2 for sure, and then add the spell damage, and compare the dot ticks and see.

That's what I'm using leveling my mage/runemaster right now. Maxroll has some per class/mastery filters too, you can check those out. I like the HeavyZ, seems to work well to me. You can always customize it, it has pre-built section for plugging in your own needs.

Are you going negative mana and getting a purple mana orb? U lose level on despecialization of skill, correct. But its no biggy you'll get the xp back in no time. Go for it. Keep in mind u cant respec mastery. So pick ur guide before hand and stick with it.
