I'm still in the process of gearing, leveling and learning my character, so empowered monoliths are way too high for me, atleast atm, or are you saying that the monolith needs to be empowered for the boss to drop the gloves?
Empowered, or the monolith he's from needs to have corruption so that the area level is 74 instead of 70.

You can do either, but the gold value is very low, so you'll make more if you don't bother stopping to pick them up or sell them (I know this seems counter-intuitive)

Is the affix with "armour and reduced damage taken from critical strikes" super new? It's not in the loot filter, and the in-game description when you go to the forge tool says "715" instead of the words lol

cool. lastepochtools says it can come on any armor. That'll be easy to squeeze into a build, especially pairs nicely with the "mental catalysis" passive in runemaster (8% reduced bonus damage from critical strikes and +1 INT with a catalyst per point, up to 6 points)
can enemies have more than +100% bonus damage from critical strikes or does reducing it by 100% effectively negate all the bonus damage every time?

Also it's not as important to get to 100% like critical strike avoidance is. You could sit at a cool 98% and be totally fine.
yes and no. If youre sitting at 98% less bonus damage taken, youre probably fine
but if youre sitting at 98% crit avoidance (chance to not be crit) then there is still a 2% damage for you to be crit for full bonus damage and die

Not really. Barring the spear (because it is a spear), they're all potentially extremely powerful
but also exiled mage drop rates are influenced by corruption
so there's an easy way to make the drop rates higher
tbh there is already people saying they are too common that it makes them less exciting. im not in that boat, but they are fairly easy to get once you hit empowered
Im playing empowered 200 ish corruption and I am at a 45ish streak of no unique
idk i've dropped like 10 merophage and at least 2 or 3 of each other unique
and i'm not playing at like 2000 corruption
i mean 45 exiled mages is not realistically that much if im being honest

45 is also a low enough sample size that lots of random stuff can happen yeah
you can also farm them if you are really hungry for the drops
find a small layout and just leave after you kill the mage
it does feel like that should be patched out
I did wrecked fleet to farm experimental affixes
i don't know that it's actually a better return for your time than playing normally since you're giving up other rewards
but it just feels wrong that it exists
well its just target farming yeah it removes other loot to fast track the mages loot
thats why I dont think it needs to be patched out
what does need to be patched out however is caches in arena echos
atleast for the mage you have to actually track it down still
lets just say I farmed probably 100 ascendancies in 1.5 hours just doing the stupid arena strat

But yeah, just play you will eventually get all the uniques then be bored of mages as they keep dropping t1 experimental affixes 
what they should buff however is the cuckoo, because its funny as hell

So...in the latest news update the devs addressed long loading times they're going to try to fix. But what about the bigger picture, all the lag and rubberbanding in multiplayer, especially when playing with someone else? (But even alone) Any chance they fix that???

They've acknowledged performance (generally and specifically) numerous times inthe past.
Further, 0.9.2 includes a partial rework of all the networking functionality, mentioned in pre-patch week posts and the patch notes as I recall.
I agree that the current online experience can be disappointing and frustrating at times, but they haven't been dismissive of these issues in the past, so I find it highly unlikely they would do so now.
Ok, I didn't know, that's all I ask. It wasn't in the patch notes with list of issues. And if they recently reworked things, mayeb they think thing are working fine now.

We've had CMs (mainly Ave) assuring us that the team is aware of networking issues and is actively working on them in the background as they were not under the assumption it would be super clean and have no issues when they did it (as EHG is honestly rather smart in the overall scheme of things)

is it me or sometimes the movement is weird? I'm playing runemaster and sometimes when i cast any skill and click move right after, it moves me in a random direction

That passive in cyberpunk doesn't alter your style at all. It simply allows you to use skills in a context you normally couldn't, something impossible in a game like LE. You can't compare these at all.
Oh yeah, you think subconciously that you need to click, but you don't, so you move? I've done similar in League of Legends, for example, with Karthus I always "Q then click" when all you need to do is Q. Feels so odd 😛
nah nah not that, i use the skill then i do want to move, and i click move real fast, then that happens. Same for league, you Q as karthus, then you wanna move forward, to chase them, for example

Hmm I could see that. But it also says +25% weapon DMG while your drifting or airborne. That incentivizes people to do more drifting in there car and depending on that player's individual skill at drifting determines how much of that buff they get. I would count this as alters gameplay

It basically moves it to a fifth slot yeah, but that affix cannot be modified any further. You can then add a new affix where it used to be.

Experimental affixes only have two sources, on drop on an item from an exiled mage or from crafting one with glyphs of insight. They are marked with a pale purple and are always prefixes.

Generally the rule is if there isn't something enabling them to shotgun they do not by default

I have dropped 2 total exalted experimental affixes since the patch, so id assume yes. you just see such less experimental items then normal items its natural to not see many exalted versions

Pretty sure it only gets the nodes on the spec tree. None of the innate skill stats or attribute scaling, since it has its own base stats and attribute scaling.

Only one player can use the door per run. Other players do get items from the chests, but it's just generic loot, not the actual reward loot.

Just also note that shackles are a rare drop. Doing it in empowered is going to increase your chances a lot, increase LP chance, and also generally just get you better everything during all the time you spend getting stability.
pretty sure area level does matter for boss drops
and you need to raise the area level with corruption to get shackles in unempowered
but also like father toast says it's just always correct to farm in empowered for a lot of reasons

Nah, not a stupid question. To answer the question about where you would find that info though, typically the patch notes do provide the info you're looking for. I think. That'll also list details on updated uniques which kinda makes them new-ish.

I was afraidof it, because it does sound crazy. Maybe i should try to build the nearest possible. All kinds of auto casts on a castspeed build. Firehedron, Elemental Nova etc etc. But that could get difficult to make with the amount of skills.
Until now i used the "charged invocations", but that doesn't satisfy my need of mayhem.
u can use flame dash node to autocast it

It is possible to have a chance to cast invocation when auto consuming runes trough other means, but i'm missing the way to spam those.
Did not understood the flame rush node yet. Paying 125% mana cost for practically pressing another button. Meh?
Yeah, the only non-invocation means of consuming runes are highly dependent on manually using invocation to recharge
In steam, the game frequently says it's launching and then just quits and nothing happens. I don't see the launch window
When I restart my computer, it launches, but then typically, if I try again later in the day, it doesn't work again, and only a restart sorts it out. Not having issues with any other games.

i’ve never had this issue with le but i had something similar with another game where when i quit it normally the program wasn’t closing correctly and i had to go into task manager and close it out before i could start it up again

im at the rate buying extra stash tab is too expsnive for me
mmm first thing id do is drop most exalted with just tier 6 mods, specially if those mods are common and not commonly used
I wouldn't just "dropp all exalts with tier 6", if you horde literally every exalt you ever get, you will fill up inventory long before you can comfortably have all T7 exalts

It's only % current health effects that bypass ward, and they are incapable of killing you
such as those blood puddles

If you have "100% chance to slow attackes" (can roll on a catalyst, T5 goes up to 100%)...then does that mean every attacker is slowed?
At 100%, you apply one stack of slow to the enemy every time it hits you, higher gives chances for more stacks (like normal ailment application).

But assuming you mean does it grant your wolves additional lightning melee damage equal to your melee lightning damage, then I'm afraid it's probably a no, because Swipe isn't a lightning skill. My guess is Swipe is just a physical skill that occasionally will do lightning damage. HotWW probably looks at did you cast a lightning skill, and if so, then it has a chance to proc. But it's just that...a guess. Maybe someone else here can say for sure.

bladedancer is probably the strongest mastery (pick rogue at start then specialize into bladedancer partway through the story) but you can really play almost anything

when you shatter an item you get up to the tier of the affix in shards. so lets say your item had t5 attack speed, and t6 melee physical
you can in theory get anywhere from 0-5 melee attack speed, and 0-6 melee physical
you always get atleast 1 shard when shattering. so it could be 1-12 total affixes
so you could shatter that t5/t6 sword and walk away with a t1 attack speed merophage and nothing else
or you could get the full affixes, or anywhere in between
And if you shatter another sword, it erases all existing affixes for another attempt

Not an expert on upheaval totem builds, but it always felt very limited to me cause upheaval totem has a melee attack and most other totem effects on primalist are geared towards spells

Upheaval totems have some interesting interactions if you can figure out how to give them base damage. but they are less of a shaman thing because of that.
because of the way they cast upheaval, they actually hit themselves with it. so with the buff to totem damage/armor on the side of upheaval, upheaval totems can buff themselves and ramp themselves
if you place them on each other they can ramp pretty hard with some minion attack speed.

No, in addition to the really S-tier buffs they give, they can also hit really hard in the right build. For example, I've seen them hit for over 10k on my vinebear (and they hit multiple times per cast).
I've seen many variations of this build but they usually boil down to manually using upheaval cause you can stack personal attack speed easier than totem attack speed
Heya everyone, I made a loot filter on LastEpocTool, I imported it in game but I see that in the in game filter items have access to much more affixes than on LastEpocTool.
My question is: is it normal because LastEpocTool makes a prefilter with affixes that are unavailable on some items type ? or does it just miss some affixes ?

If you took the permanent abomination node, it can only consume skeletons and skeletal mages. To hit 5 different types, you then need 5 variants of those.
Yes, any added damage is affected by the added damage effectiveness. Only base damage (which is exceptionally rare to get on a skill tree) isn't affected by it.

Reached the point where i can pick a mastery, and it took a while to get here. Since you can't change masteries after picking, not sure what to start with. Either a necro or lich build. My question is if I pick necro, arre the minions strong enough in the end game, or am i better off picking lich?

If there's a way to make a skill(melee,spell) gain the posion tag without the damage over time tag, it won't be modified by damage over time.

All poison damage is damage over time and will be scaled by DOT modifiers, but yeah the spear doesn't touch DOT, only poison damage exactly as it shows on your character sheet.
I actually found a case that might be a poison hit, but haven't bothered looking into it yet (life drain's explosion).

Sup, does anybody got the same issue with old chars? I went to respec some of my passives (not skill passives. I am talking about class passives - P key -) and undo 2 of 'em, then poof and i dont have any unspent points.
Back in the days (this char is lvl 100 for like half a year or so, when the multiplayer patch kicked in) i finished all campaign quests, and now when i press M and look at the Passive Points Rewards boom 12/15. And no quests. The only thing i found was that strange thing on the screenshot, but u just can't reach there.

So guys, I'm for the first time playing the late endgame, and I have a question about exalts. Exalts are dropping like crazy, but since I do not know much about all possible builds the game can have, I'm facing a little problem of selecting Wich exalts to keep. Tried some googling on that but everything is outdated, only found one recent video guide but found it to be too long and confusing. Can some give some rules of thumb, and general directions about this? Or maybe linking some good guide to that? Thanks!

Keep exalted +skill increased hp hybrid hp movement. Keep exalted flat dmg flat crit crit multi. Usually be okay. Also when in doubt keep them all you can always toss stuff later but you can never get the items you didn't hoard back

yes, when you unlock empowered you get all the waypoints too so you don't need to regrind the linear paths

there are like 10 other defensive layers that could matter here
but also bosses are more about not getting hit than about tanking hits
well you want armor too. Block effect/armor/dodge all have diminishing returns. 1.5k block effect vs 2k block effect isnt so different for example.
a pretty substantial amount of boss attacks will kill you in one hit unless you have truly staggering defenses
so you cant just ignore armor and stack block effect, you will actually end up taking a lot more damage overall
3,1k block effect gives 60% dmg reduction, so with the 75% res. this would then become 90% damage reduction.... is that not enough to survive boss hitts?

lets just say your question starts in the wrong area. Block effect for example you gave 3k gives 60% reduced damage taken
well rebuke reduces damage by a baseline 80% by default
there is no amount of block effectiveness that will let you single handedly tank "the hardest bosses"
LE is a game about stacking defense layers, not just using 1.
if your goal is to take every hit, look into a rebuke build not a block stacking build(you can do both).
But you will eventually hit a wall where you cant get hit by certain mechanics.
it really also depends on scope, is your goal to tank high corruption bosses? or t4 dungeon bosses? this changes the question

It must be on hit. I tried just spamming Bone Curse on a random enemy repeatedly, and not attacking, and never saw Armor Shred show up. But I did see Crippling Anguish stack - slow debuff - when just spamming Bone Curse. Casting Bone Curse and then attacking the enemy, I saw Armor Shred stack. Character did not have Armor Shred chance on an item.
I'm guessing it's because Crippling Anguish says "Bone Curse slows enemies within its area of effect" and Defile Defenses says "Bone Curse has a chance to reduce enemy armor". The later must be adding a % chance for Armor Shred to the physical damage when hit part of Bone Curse.

That'd be because Bone Curse doesn't actually do anything unless you hit the cursed target (with the exception of the Bone Eruption node).

Well I load it up and i get the mouse cursor and the controller cursor, but i cant select anything with the controller cursor. In game my skills work but i cant interact with stuff.

Is it just me or has the shift + shuriken blade armor stopped working completely? I took the node which throws shuriken after shift and blade armor which rotates the shuriken around me. It works on the first cast but after that, every shift I do, there's no more shurikens. Checked my armor and it's not increasing so it's not just a visual bug

Which server do you think is the most stable? Thinking of buying a VPN for it. Can't play the game with a bowmage flurry + multishot procc build. I think there's too much projectiles on the screen and the game can't keep up with everything's that's happening. It doesn't, unfortunately. Even though they don't always say so, "next spell" effects usually only work on non-channeled spells (for balance reasons).

Hey guys, me again with my quest to be less noob 😂 The thing is I'm playing a crit build, and I got to 100% crit some time ago, and then I started stacking crit multi. I was wondering, what is the usual value of this for late endgame content? Right now I have 395% crit multi. And I was farming black sun trying to get the crit multi blessing, but just so happens that after 3 tries I did not found this blessing, instead I managed an almost perfect roll for the life blessing (rolled a +58 hp), so now I'm on the fence. Do I keep farming for ~32 crit multi, or the flat life is more valuable?

Eh, Idk. Yes, most channeled skills are not in a great spot right now, but I don't think removing that limitation would fix things. Those passives were designed to have high numbers but only apply to a limited amount of skills, and channeled skills circumventing that restriction would just lead to those passives having to be nerfed and then being not good enough to use with non-channeled skills any more.
That is a thing you'll have to decide for yourself. If you are at 400% crit multi, getting another 32 would translate into ~8% more damage. I don't know your character so can't say how the life compares to that, but the question is, do you want more offense or more defense?
Yeah, I was thinking about that, I guess I'll keep the life, because now defense is more important, if I start to fall short of damage I'll do the grind again. But in general, 400% multi is high or no?
Yes, 400-500% is a good spot to be at usually.

The best thing to do would be to use the skill, and send the bug report after it fails with a description of which nodes aren't working as they should and whether this is online or offline mode 😊
things that make channeled skills suck (for me)
- mana is usually restrictive
- you have to stand still for your damage
- some cool interactions are gated behind "non-channeled"
things that warpath does
- cost no mana with 3 skill points
- you move constantly
- it deals attacks which has its own combo opportunities that usually aren't forbidden for channels
so yeah, warpath gets thumbs up from me
I also think flame rush is a cool ability, but can't speak for if it's good because I haven't played with it much/at all.
same as most skills in le, bad by itself, good with a few busted interactions

Uniques - orange - and Set items - green. Otherwise, yes, you can use Shatter and Removal on Magic - Blue, Rare - Yellow, and Exalted - Purple.
There's also new items in 0.9.2 with Experimental affixes. The items have kind of a yellow/blue slash on them. You can still Shatter and Removal on those, but the Experimental affix shard is not gained. Those have separate Research Runes and Insight Glyphs.
For crafting on uniques, you can find ones with Legendary Potential. With those with LP, you can run Temporal Sanctum dungeon and smash an Exalted item into the LP Unique at the end of the dungeon. That will destroy the Exalted item and randomly select up to the LP # of affixes from the Exalted item to add onto the Unique. 1 LP is one of the four affixes randomly selected to be added. Up to 4 LP adding all 4 affixes. The Exalted item used must have 4 affixes. Sealed affix is not used or counted.
And there's another special type of Unique that has Weaver's Will on it. These automatically level up as you use them and can increase in strength or add random affixes to the item.

Nope, and it's not even healing. You just can't use that node in your build unless we get a reverse effect (like lose health on kill).
Or some other way to rapidly redrain your health.

% endurance is very good, super efficient way to increase your EHP. flat endurance threshold affixes on the other hand are super inefficient, though other sources of endurance threshold can be good

that was true until the latest patch. MoM and stacking flat endurance was a very tanky build. but they just "fixed" it so that endurance no longer reduces damage taken by your mana

And just for an important distinction, it does not give you DR when you are below a certain health value, it gives DR to your health at/below your threshold. It is "always on", so it applies to all of that health even if you take a big hit from full health, for example.
But on the other hand, it doesn't prevent damage dealt to your ward while youre below endurance treshold for example. With the mom thing fixed, you can't "cheat" endurance in any way any more.

What is the difference between Traversal and Movement?
All traversal are movement, not all movement are traversal. IIRC all traversal skills get put on cooldown if you use one, whereas that doesn't happen with movement
There is at least one skill that's bugged where it gets traversal, but not movement, I think
Hey guys, so I'm doing some blessing farm (or trying to) but I discovered that 200c gives you 5 choices instead of 4. All very nice, but the thing is I can stand so far rougly 130c (I'm still on the first runs of empowered). So the thing is, if 200c is obvously better to blessing farm, but if I can't do 200c, what would be the way to go? Mono drops and xp seem better than anything, so what should I do? Keep farming 130 (maybe 150 if I can)? What else there is? Area doesn't seem to give me that much drops, and I'm still trying to beat lvl 100 arena, dungeons I Haven't tried much besides t3 soulfire bastion (have not tried t4 yet, neither the other dungeons), thanks in advance! What is the wall that you are hitting with your build? Farming for blessings at 100-199c is still totally fine, I usually get all my grand blessings before I reach 200c anyway, and many of them do open up your gear options a lot (like the ones that fill out defenses) and that lets you get stronger as well.
But if the wall is like, you need X partidular unique, I'd recommend going for that if you can
Honestly I haven't hit a wall yet, it's my first time in empowered so i'm a bit cautious. I was preparing for hitting the wall. But I got it, maybe this is not even a problem, I should just keep doing what I can, until I can't and in this way I might get the drops I need to reach 200, right? ok... now I feel silly lol. But hey, thanks anyway. But about uniques I don't know yet, I'm trying to push as far as I can with my knowledge of the game (that is very low) but I guess at some point I will need some uniques, but that's another subject to another time lol. If you put enrage on a boss, or just stack the wrong ones in general, it gets rough
why does "increase stun %"' seem so much better than just "increase mellee stun %"
the % for just mellee stun chances seems less overall as well
i read on another discord comment that having reduced damage from crits to 100 percent will always mitigate all crits no matter the enemy multiplier, but if over 100 percent will it decrease the damage further or should you stop at 100 percent? im assuming you stop but just wanna double check before gearing fully
It doesn't do anything past 100%
It's less bonus damage taken from crits, not just less damage taken from crits, so it only mitigates the multiplier and nothing else of the hit

because of that, slow, hard-hitting skills usually arent great for applying ailments, you generally want to apply as many stacks as possible
is it possible to set up a loot filter rule to catch specifically items with an exalted mod and an experimental mod?

Yeah, use two conditions in the rule: rarity exalted and including any experimental affixes.
If you want to narrow down to good exalted affixes only, it becomes more annoying, but doable with like 2 rules maybe.
