You're missing the point, UTC exists independent of time zones as I already said, as well as being a basis for time zones.
Time is relative so no matter what time someone gives you, you need to do math basically. Atleast as an american UTC is quite annoying for me because we hardly use it for anything. So if a time is posted in utc I have to go look up what time it is relative to me anyways.

I know the point you're making, I just disagree with it. UTC is the name for the co-ordinate system (like X, Y, Z) not a point on that co-ordinate system & that bugs me 'cause the two are not the same thing. I just can't think of another example of why.

Also yes, I live in one of the few places in the states that does not use DST, and it fucks me up cause it means my time difference to places changes throughout the year

anyone else feel like marksman kit is kinda awkward? like not enough differentiation between the offensive skills
it's like.. for aoe you either take detonating, or hail, or multishot... and then for single target you either take flurry or puncture
and then you basically need shift and decoy for utility
I expect this may be because its missing a mastery class ... Mike mentioned something about each group of classes having about 27(?) total skills... so Rogue is missing more than a few.... Maybe this will open things up more than it is now....
I suppose when comparing to Sentinels with an almost full compliment of skills, it does feel a little restrictive....
i expect ballista makes more sense once falconer comes out and you can actually go for minion stats
at the moment that also feels like an odd one out
if you want to see a unique marksman build, I did just finish shadow dagger puncture
which does not play like the other marksman archetypes

Well sentinel is also lacking some, paladin for instance lacks one skill, and has one without a tree. leaving paladin to have sigils, holy aura and judgement only.
I think what makes some classes feel better then others or more complete is options for buff/support skill mix ups.
Mage has the rogue problem too, every build is gonna have flame ward and probably teleport, and many are gonna run focus too especially sorcs. This leads most sorc builds to feel extremely samey because you dont have many choices to spice it up, you have "big nuke, little nuke and the three utility spells"
Edit: to add onto this look at Forge guard, forge guard gives non forge guards shield throw, and manifest armor. thats it, so your options to splash into FG is basically nothing if you dont plan to use MA.
i went marksman to feel like a bigboi sniper, fat damage from longgg range
but somehow along the way i went for atk speed and bleeds so now i feel like im using a machine gun

Yip... thats why I said "almost".... iirc Mage is the oldest set of skills that havent had a rework so I'll reserve comment on then - I think its a given, they need and will get a once over..... FG of all the Sentinel masteries is in an odd place right now and I agree, it only really has one great build (MA) variation right now - everything else just seems meh...
Primalist feels the best to me even with the poor state of shaman, cause he has lots of procs and lots of ways to change skills to do different things. And naturally because of the companion systems you have options to spec into for friends to buff or help do damage.
If you wanted that kind of Marksman, then I would recommend the Cold Bowmage - it does exactly what you describe - been playing it from lvl 90 to 95 so far and it generally makes mobs explode from afar.... changed from the multishot to detonating arrow version (lizardIRL build guide on lastepochtools) and it really does well so far - even without legendaries & only 50ish dex...
I think he means "one shot one kill" type situation which bow mage is not. But the game just does not really do it that well currently on any build outside of like 1-2
I rolled a shaman as my first primalist... the poor bugger has been chopped and changed so many times he is having an identity complex.. dont want to do the spriggan build but everything else is just so lacklustre for me... I wanted an elemental chonky boi slamming his 2h down and making the mobs jump around... but everything is so underwhelming... and totems seem required...

I really like the totem playstyle but I hate that the best totem build is behind a core druid mechanic that just does totem casting better.
I also love storm totem and it sucks so bad. 😦
Shaman needs a full on overhaul he is a selfcasting class, but his ability to do so is extremely lackluster.
One-shot one-kill... hmm... my underspec bowmage is pretty good at one shotting... the procs from the lightning tendrils mean that I am firing off the icicles at crazy rates so a single detonating arrow one shots most things (with about 3 hits at a time)... am doing lvl 100/100 echos - dont plan on pushing it till I min/max a bit more but it is working well...
actually now that we're talking about it, that would be my wishlist for mastery
mastery skill: does like 1000000 damage, but only hits one

Shaman... I think my problem is also that I am not sure what its meant to be so I am struggling with it as a concept... its like a spellblade but not, like a sorceror but not... Avalance Spell & Earthquake Melee... Other skills like Maelstrom seem to suggest they are Shaman (passive link) but then Druid (all the forms)... Anyway... I am confused about Shaman...
yeah i feel like some things that were "shaman" got moved over to druid in its big revamp. So maybe in the eventual shaman patch it will be completely different.
Pen is additive with res shred right? Like if an enemy had 5 stacks of Shock and I have 15% lightning pen, it's 40% total?

Hey, I'm testing out using a controller, is there a way to instantly transfer an item from inventory into the forge's crafting window? I tried using the button which transfers between inventory and stash, but this only drops the item when I have the crafting window open
Not sure that's bugged, it's just releasing the first one as it reaches the max duration then starting to charge another one but you let it go "early".
Yeah, that's likely the same thing (since it's casting it twice it's charging you twice).
I’ll make a note about asking if it’s actually bugged or not, regardless it does feel odd to use when this interaction happens. Maybe we can do something that makes it feel better.
Yeah, not sure what though. Would it feel better to only charge & release once at the end of the duration then you need to release the button & press it again for another Puncture?
It's always been like this & I'm not sure changing it would make it feel much better.
Could just let you hold it forever and cap the charge bonuses to the current max? So it only fires when you release

you could also add a node behind it split off that allows it to release when fully charged as an option if you still want that choice.
But I do think releasing when fully charged is mega awkward.

Time Rot used to do that I think and only stacked up to three times, they changed it one or two patches ago. Just forgot to update the tooltip I guess.

OK I've tried to do as much self research before asking this fairly annoying question... I see that 0.9.0 is when multiplayer is going to be launching, is there an ETA on that? I played a bit of Last Epoch in the past but wanted to give it a try with my wife, so this feature is needed to do so. I don't mean this question as to rush development - take your time for sure. Just hard to find a specific answer to this quesiton.

What’s the best boss killer build atm?
The devs said they will most likely not add LP to sets and rather want to make them stand out from uniques in other ways.
But they will definitely touch sets in the future and nothing is 100% decided yet
+1 for this. I love the Ferebor set. If the Devs use that set as a standard for future sets, I think it'll be a good decision. Things like tier 8 intelligence on a set ring? Armor on a ring, where you can't otherwise get flat armor? Awesome.
If you have to ask "the best", the answer is likely to be some balance-breaking builds that can kill T4 Julra in five seconds🤔
I like the idea of shifting set power from 3 to 2 piece like they did with zerricks. The new lich set is also fantastic both pieces are good stand alone and the set has some fun niche uses.

how would i got about farming exalted or high potential void blades, the sword monolith mostly seems to be for unique/set weapon items and such, exalted sword nodes show up pretty rarely
Dont think you can specifically go for void swords... but you can increase sword drop rates through blessings and running empowered monoliths at higher corruption will improve the overall chance of getting exalted items.... You may also get lucky and Temporal sanctum might have an exalted sword modifier on the maps (but this is rng so you'd have to check each session)... I suppose the other dungeon rewards might also help, but I havent had much luck with them for this kind of specific grind....
I dont think there is anything you can do to get more Sword echo reward nodes...

dungeons is mostly exalted weapons as a general right, never specific type
unless you were to buy just swords off the gambler
Temporal Sanctum can have specific exalted drops which is nice if you are lucky on the RNG - lots of people like farming it for the exalts... I find I am just as lucky running 200-300 corruption monos tho....
void blade is kind of a pain in the butt too cause potentially have to reroll implicit values as well which also costs potential and the variance is so high
guess realistically i should settle, id only really gain a lot with an exalted one that also has exalted void or attackspeed really
I find a similar issue whenever I try for very specific gear like this... not just the void sword... but i just create a filter and forget about it honestly.... sometimes you get nothing for a while and then you run one dungeon or mono and the things drop like flies...
i pick up a lot but often you kinda have to disregard half of them due to either multiple bad mods or low potential / bad implicit roll
its a lot worse than other bases
so maybe i got lucky
on that dungeon note.. i guess the game isnt online yet can you reset dungeon drops via logging out? is that what u meant by per session?
If I recall they change each day... no idea if anyone has figured out exactly when or based on what criteria or if its specific to your local time... I know I have gone to the Sanctum in the morning and it had the same mods later in the evening that same day but had different ones the next day...

Assuming the reset does actually take place at 00:00 UTC (I have no idea if it does, but it seems likely), that means it should currently be taking place at 01:00 for you. Also, UTC is widely used in both aviation and computer networking, so saying nobody uses it is false.

I use the Dark Moon, maxed Cosmic Impact and Extinction node as first priority - and if I had a +3 I would likely have the more frequent abyssal orbs over anything else...

I think Cosmic Impact only applies to when the DO hits a mob as it rotates around you, not the void rifts or Abyssal Orbs, but I've asked Mike for confirmation.
It's not, the rifts AO gives are the same as the rifts from DO, plus the Sentinel doesn't get any Void pen so ~20% void pen is not a small modifier.
Cosmic Impact - I always thought that it only applies to DO too... Never saw it as a possible boost for the Abyssal Orbs...
Rifts from AO vs DO... not so sure myself, as the DO rift isnt really defined in the skill while the AO rift is - looking at lastepochtools info... and it seems like AO is just a "weaker homing version" of DO so my assumption is that the rift is too (i.e. smaller/weaker)

does having higher corruption give me a better chance to loot rarer items on timeline bosses ?
for instance i'm trying to loot the Throne of Ambition on Argentus, not sure if I should take the time to do the shade of orobyss or just run the timeline over and over
yes, corruption increases the rarity modifier you get from nodes, and rarity improves boss drops
corruption also increases stability gain from completing nodes, meaning you can loop back to the boss faster
assuming your build can handle the corruption
this is also why it's best to farm in empowered monoliths, since their corruption is uncapped

Nah, the orbiting one gets that bottom node, which is the best more multiplier on the tree.

Kinda depends on the build. If you're just single target, I'd doubt it
That only applies to the impacts though so you'd need to be close to the target.

Abyssal Orb doesn't benefit from the Cosmic Impact node, it has it's own impact & AoE damage.
Though apparently it has a base void damage of 60 (as against Cosmic Impact's 80).
Though AO only has 150% added damage effectiveness compared to DO's 200% & Void Rifts' (the AoE from AO & DO) 75%.
But AO is ranged & DO with the Cosmic Impact node isn't, though I have no idea how big the radius is with the Distant Satellite node.
the melee range is not an issue to me but i guess the non orbit ones have longer duration so you can put up more of them? idk

TBH, I don't think the orbiting/static is a big issue v trash (since everything dies quickly) & against bosses it's not an issue since the boss will be in range of the Abyssal Orbs.
the static orbs and stacking a lot of them single target seems messy for fps too

If you play Last Epoch and you HAVEN'T tried one of these builds, I highly recommend it. These are hand-selected builds that are cool as hell, and make me want to play more Last Epoch.

what does repeating those stability quests accomplish
in normal monoliths, you gather stability to do the two quest echoes and then kill the timeline boss. After you've killed the boss you lose however much stability it costs to fight the boss- which depends on the timeline
regathering stability will let you fight the boss again
in empowered monoliths, you can skip the two quests prior to the boss
it's not really worth it to farm in normal monoliths, but you can technically do it
smite hammerdin looks awesome
If you like the look of the hammerdin smite - you should also check out LizardIRLs Electrify Javelin - very similar "smite on throw" type build, but more active - i.e. a lot of the smites land where you throw the javelins so its a very "satisfying" play style...
does anyone know if there are plans to adjust the stash tab prices? particularly when multiplayer hits...
I'm asking because so far this game has 1048576 potential builds per each class and as such I really need my storage space. :-< In fact, i've stopped playing for now simply because stashes got so expensive grinding for them is not fun (and I find a whole bunch of new items to store during those runs)

I have a dozen tabs of uniques, idols, and exalted, and I should and could probably cull those down. Stash tabs are basically so cheap space is not a factor
I definitely am, but one of the "problems" is that I play HC, so I sort of need to keep similar items in case of death, too.
Well I guess I can just say, currently LE probably offers some of the most if not the most space for basically free of any arpg, Its unlikely they would lower it

I officially welcome you to Hoarders Anonymous... I am up to 150+ tabs so far and its generally a mess withou any filtering, more intelligent search, configurable auto storting and more practial stash management tools. The game drops so much loot that even with my end-game filtering of nothing less than >T12 exalted items still means I regularly pick up too much.. I am now just using FIFO principal and throwing everything in my old tabs away (or shattering/removal) instead of buying new ones... I would not recommend getting to the state I am in... should have tossed things out a long time ago...
im at about 50 tabs and I def need to just shatter like 80% of my exalted and dump like 30% of my idols...
I for a long time was just picking up any exalted so tons of them are like poison damage on an axe like this isnt even good for legendary axes lol
Same here... Idols is most definitely a problem... especially if you dont know whats a good combination or whats useful to other classes or not... even now after thousands of hours, I still have to stop and think about idols before I pick them up.

I don't know what to play . Diablo 3 was screwed the moment set items unbalanced everything and path of exile has a terrible core system that favors spamming only one skill
LE offers small utility focused skill sets. You can choose to spam one skill, use rotational combat abilities, or have skill you use to gather mana, and another to spend mana. As well as utility/defensive skills etc.
its more robust then PoE combat wise, but probably not as crazy as D3 or an MMO.

hey guys, is Bleed (or any other dot) counted as "damage from a distance" for those rares that have that affix?

I'm not sure about the "from a distance" affix, but most of the time dot calculates the damage according to the state at the time of application, and will not change due to subsequent changes in conditions (except for some enemy resistance reduction or damage taken changes)
It would need to be applied "from a distance" in order to be counted as "damage from a distance".
quick question, if i make my lightning blast do cold damage (by that node on the mage skill tree), does lightning damage increases that cold damage? or i have to reroll my items?

Yes, we're intentionally playing a Shaman. Yes, this build is hilarious. Even without the incredibly busted "Nightshade Briar" node in Thorn Totem's skill tree, this build is still much better than it has any right to be.

Nah, the res is pretty irrelevant. @minor kindle has a lot of experience with the normal thorn totem build - it leans a lot more into that "nightshade briar" node, which is beyond busted.
I see, I can only see he/she made an cold damage aftershock build, which is something entirely different if im not mistaken 🙂 Would love the persons input tho, to pros and cons. unless its primarily adaptive spell damage vs entangling roots
The details of how the damage is composed will vary a bit between masteries, but the results are about the same. The Thorn Totem build can easily meet the needs of most players for damage, or even overflow (you can refer to Perry's guide, which explains it in detail)
Meaning, imo you can think about masteries options in terms of survival, control feeling, movement speed, etc. (not damage. 👀

nope, Root for Thorns Totem will only be used in boss fights in most cases. And it is very troublesome to maintain the Root buff on all totems for a long time, so there are many people who do not use the root at all (can still cause terrible damage)

The Bightshade Briar node and Serpent Milk are key.
Totem cast speed must be above 70%. If you don't want to stack totem cast speed, you can POP totems like Perry. Basically that's it

It does make gearing easier though.
Projectiles generally only shotgun if they're fired sequentially or a node/item specifies that they shotgun.

It's normal for Salt the Wound, and even in the bonus list for the Unique Glove node, it has a poor 1.25% chance of dropping (data from tunklab's simulator), meaning the expectation is to complete 80 nodes to get 1 (but it may actually take more).

I think bow damage is strictly hit based, or DoTs that are not ailments. Similarly to "Melee" damage does not buff ailments made by melee. There is some wording shenanigans you have to watch out for like "Damage while wielding a bow" word work

This seems to be a regular question - there are a few discussions on the forum about this - recommend you go check those to see (search is your friend)... obviously lvl 30 is really early so a lot of the usual recommendations may be premature (e.g. https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzAsEZgZiA ... I also dont think that there is any one silver bullet for the issue at the moment.

short answer: because it shouldn't
the ring increases minion movement speed and minion armor
neither of those stats are on that page you're looking at
This in particular modifier is Movement speed for You and your Minions which is it's own unique modifier in our system and it currently is not coded the same as something like applying generic Movement speed applied to both you and your minions separately, if that makes sense. Since the modifier is unique it will not apply on the character sheet. It should however, still work correctly.

yip... and its fairly rare.... if you have reached monoliths, you can get the idol drop chance blessings from Fall of the Outcasts.... and obviously its more likely to drop for a sentinel char....

Hey, if I have a melee physical skill and a weapon with flat physical and flat necrotic damage, how will the flat necrotic damage affect the damage of to the skill?
If the skill does not have a node that converts the add damage, there will be a part of the nec damage
Damage retains it's element unless explicitly converted & is only affected by relevant modifiers. So that flat necrotic damage would be affected by % necrotic, % melee, general % damage & skill-specific modifiers (that aren't for specific elements).

Probably, since that's a generic damage modifier (ie, not specific to any element or how the damage is done, ie, spell/melee/etc)
Love the game but hate having to sink in more time then needed. Completely understand the necessity not to launch prematurely however, all the time invested is lost when it does launch. When will LE launch approximately?
Depends on how you plan to play it. Do you plan to play LE seasonally like PoE or Diablo? if so you start over each season anyways.
Do you plan to play online? if so you can start most likely when MP hits.
And if you plan to play offline, then anything you do now is permanent.

And I dont get your logic of "wasted" time, do you think playing PoE until it gets its final update is a waste because there will be new things to explore later so you might as well just wait till then to play it at all?
The game going from beta to release is basically just a ticking of a box, you will still be getting constant updates that invalidate old systems and revamp them...

I won't recommend a specific build but I will say that the only thing you cannot respec in this game is your mastery choice, so pick a mastery that seems interesting to you and roll with it. Read all the text in the passive tree and the skills that you like and you'll most likely be able to put together a build that can clear the campaign and early end game.

It's additive with other applicable increased damage sources. So it's functionally the same as adding 30%increased fire damage on a gear piece

especially in empowered, I find I generally get 1-2 keys per boss kill
and then whatever else drops along the way while getting the stability to kill the boss

I have this filter 4 times, with 1 2 3 4 affixes
I can't tell if this filter is broken in some way or not a single sword with any 1 of those 10 stats ever dropped

Most definitely not.... If @lunar holly suggestions do nothing, then try dropping down the settings to very low & ensure that there is a framerate limit enabled. If this works, then its a performance issue. if none of the suggestions work, then post a thread on the technical support forum - very important, include your player.log, le_graphicsmanager.ini and the output of a dxdiag report (assuming windows).
Try the game verification, low settings suggestions above... else post on the forum as I suggest above - it might be something known but discord is bad for troubleshooting technical issues...

Hello 👋🏻 question about minion ailments! I can’t seem to find any stats about my minions bleed chance, duration or damage on the character sheet. Is this present anywhere?
Nope, you just have to do a bit of math to add up obvious chances.
Minions generally get ailments from very specific locations so it shouldnt be too bad.
Generally the character sheet is in need of some work, but it will be updated in the future for now just gotta use the good old pen and paper

I would say yes, every instance of a damage effect is modeled with an object, so each case where it's applies will have the necessary damage modifiers.
I now know to adjust my rogue build since it only has tons of bleed
most druid minions can be converted to cold, and many skills also deal cold
primalists three major damage types are cold, physical and lightning
Ah, so it's better for later? I find it hard to build with since you only really have the claw ability for the bear form at first, which only has lightning and physical damage
Entangling roots normally deals physical, but can be made cold. Maelstrom also deals cold damage, one of the common druid builds is a cold based were bear build too 🙂
You should have access to warcry as well, which can cast maelstrom for you
Ah, I haven't really used maelstorm, I mostly use crows, and a wolf, the claw attack as well.
It just feels a bit clunky, you have lightning damage on one ability, yet get a few really good cold stuff.
I also haven't found the frostbite affix (does it exist still?)
For primalist frostbite is found on idols only I think. and idols can take a minute to farm.
Idols are completely rng and there is no way to craft them, so getting the correct set of idols with good values is a stretch goal
Ouch. I might end up just going the poison route.
It doesn't benefit my minions as much, but I can at least use the damage, I can then supplement cold minion damage in some other way
there are some boots that have it as well. they're fairly common.

How does base crit work, I mean if the skill has something that directly buff it up, like +20, and I have 10 base thanks to 100% inc in crit. Does this 10 add to the 20 so 30 only or it get added to the default base crit of 5 then it calcolate the inc crit chances making it 50? I hope I am clear on what I mean, kinda hard to explain
(5 + additional crit) x (1 x increased crit)
so 10 flat crit and 50% increased is 15 x 1.5 = 22.5 chance to crit
So something like the "Slayers" mod on melee weapons adds a large chunk of flat crit, which then gets scaled by all your increased crit chance.
As far as I know everything has 5 to start with to which flat crit is added
So in your example you had 100% increased crit, +20 base crit would make the end result 50 like you said. 25 * 2 = 50% chance to crit

the only one worth worrying about would be mark for death which is -25% this is the most common one you will run into, but its not so dangerous as to desperately need to overcap for it

Question, when you have multiple tags on an ability, do those tags add up?
Say I have Bow + Arrow for tags
And I have 10 scaled damage on Bow and 10 scaled damage on Arrow will those add up?
Tags dont exactly stipulate full damage scaling
So take void cleave for example, it has the void and physical tags, as a baseline it does 1 phys and 1 void damage
if you use a weapon that is all physical damage, then get 100% void damage... you get no damage increase other then on the 1 baseline void damage.
There is no innate conversion for attacks currently, for spells its a bit easier as adaptive spell damage is added as whatever element the baseline is, for something that is half phys and half fire, it would split the adaptive damage across it.
But there is also typed spell damage too, that would again only be scaled by appropriate damage buffs even if the skill has no tag as such.
The tags are more in place for +skill buffs and other things that ask for if you have used a skill recently etc.
As well as giving a general guideline for how you would scale it
As for if you had a skill that was lightning and fire tagged, and you had 10 fire, and 10 lightning those would add together for the final damage, but be scaled by their own respective modifiers.
You can have say 10 fire, 10 lightning and 50% increased elemental damage, as well as 100% increased lightning damage. and it would look like
10 fire * 1.5 = 15
+
10 lightning * 2.5 = 25
= 40 total end damage
And this could be on a skill with only the physical tag 😛
Learning the nuance of tags is important for more complicated builds because you have items that will specifically look at tags but provide bonuses to not the tagged damage type
Ah I was mostly asking since spirit plague has lots of tags, and you can't really stack it so I'm running a double DOT build with necrotic and bleed.
bleed has its own tags separate from spirit plague even. its "Physical, Damage over time" but bleed is not a curse, so curse damage found on some items wont buff it for example even though it came from a curse.
The way you would get around this is through generic scaling such as Intelligence which provides a generic damage buff, or "Damage over Time" damage increases which will buff spirit plague, bleed and poison.
Yes, I've been focusing a bit more on necrotic damage though, I'm also running bloodrip and converted that to necrotic as well.

For a unique, if the base item ilvl is 66, and the required level of it is 75, I would only find on area level of 75+ right?
I got 72 lvl req sword from a lvl 69 area boss.
But it was a boss specific drop so no idea.

Nope... Changing mastery is the ONLY thing you cannot do in the game.... Over the years, its the only thing the devs have been consistent about... they want the choice to be important and allowing a player to change it would obviously negate that...
well they keep updating skills passive, that make some meh build become viable, and some in another mastery.
Thats normal, the game isnt finished yet and feedback about how skills and passives do or dont work allows them to change them appropriately.... a mastery choice is something you make to decide if you want access to a specific set of skills/passives. I personally can see why the devs dont want players to do this - there may as well not be masteries if you could - just let everyone use all class skills.... hell, you could even get rid of classes all together and just let players chose any skills in the game....

It does not have a cooldown, but you must have enough rage to actually cast the entangling roots, so if your roots cost 40, and your rage is 39, it won't proc, even though in other situations in the game you can go into negatives.

It's basically just a scale of how rare LP is on that item otherwise some would be literally impossible to get (and has been confirmed to NOT be impossible to get)

using efficacious toxins from both is mostly an uptime thing and a lack of other appealing nodes

like you have to click it or touch it at just the right space
if you tried, maybe just verify files, restart the game and portal back to that are and try again.

Ok, I'm on Windows 11, and the game will sometimes boot into the main splash screen, and then it will just lock up. Wtf do I need to do to fix this issue and actually play the game?
It like, automatically just jumps to the "Unity Crash Handler" but even that doesn't come up.

Being unable to start up randomly can be a sign of the performance related stability of the game (.e.g crashes on load up or when loading into new maps/areas while playing)... or it could be something causing a delay in communicating with the login servers (not normally tho).... Dont know what settings you are running on what hardware, but a quick way to test the performance issue is to set the game to Very low settings with 60fps framerate limit on 1080p... If it loads more reliably at these settings then thats probably the issue.... Your comment about changing compatibility could very much be related to performance...

Gambling will not help.. its capped to lvl 40 items.

Monoliths (especially empowered version) are the best place for farm items (other than a few specific dungeon instances).
by level 55 all your resistances should be around 60ish... and you should have 1000+ health...
I haven't even loaded into the game as a character yet. And, turning on Windows 8 Compatibility Mode let's me get into the Main Menu. So, I'm just gonna use that for the moment.
Thats definitely not normal... a system that can run Win11 with a discreet GPU shouldnt have any problems loading LE to the Main screen on default settings.

It's a R5 3600, 32gb of DDR4-3200, GTX 1070, and the game is loaded onto a 3TB HDD 7200rpm
You shouldnt be having any problem with that config, my system is less and i have almost 2k hours in LE.... If you are using Steam, run the Game File verification option to make sure your install is ok and make sure that your GPU drivers are recent (3 months) and installed using a clean installtion... You definitely should not be needing to change things like Compatibility settings to get LE to work... If this issue persists, then post a thread on the technical suport section of the forum and I'll try and help..
The slower HDD might add 20-30 seconds to the load up time but it should get you into the game...

And, my drivers are cleaner than clean. I run a telemetry removal program for my Driver install on my Nvidia drivers and I don't use GFE.

Seeing how there is a modifier about mark for death on the monolith, could someone plan ahead for it, I didn't see any other stuff that could mess up resistance beside that for now
There are some enemy types that will shred your fire, lightning, and poison resists in various ways if I recall correctly
generally I'd say it's not worth going out of your way to overcap resistances, though
Mark for Death ends up being one of the weaker damage increasing mods in monolith the higher in corruption you get, even if you don't overcap for it
does anyone have any tips on how they do their stash tabs? mine is a big mess
I generally sort it per class, put gear for different kinds of builds in different rows, this allows for neat organization.
If you only have one build you can put gear that somewhat fits your build on the higher end of the rows and worse on the bottom, in case you find a stopgap item and need to put it on at some point.
As a now, as I don't have that much gear, I have a tab for Various Rarity, and sub like unique weapons, Idols types, if 1x2, 2x1, 1x1 are defensive with like resists
Cannot offer tips - my 150+ tabs are a glorious mess... if it were not for the search features that Mike added a few patches ago, I would have given up.... Now I setup my lootfilters and drop entire tabs on the ground so that they are highlighted, then I pick up the ones I want to keep and sort them into appropriate tabs (which are highly personal - some like to sort by builds, others by crafting possibilities etc)...

Uniques tab with subtabs for different kind of uniques like 1hand, 2hand, rings, relics, etc. Color them bronze and match up icons the best you can. I have a big tab for keys and subtabs for the different kind of keys you can get.
General idols and class specific idol tabs all colored teal. I think I want to split the general idols tab up into defensive ones and offensive ones though.
Exalt tabs colored purple. I think I will organize them like I did uniques but right now it's just different numbers with a tier 7 tab.
Tabs for alt gears so you can see what you're working with for different builds.
I think the big master tabs are free and the sub tabs (that you actually put stuff in) costs hold so might as well organize it up

not directly, but empowered monoliths will have more corruption and thus more powerful rarity modifiers, which does impact the boss drops

I am trying to get Apathy's Maw for my VK, according to the wiki, it drops from 50+ corruption Orobyss with a drop-rate of 'uncommon'. I wonder can a 50 corruption Orobyss drop it? I have tried 5 times already and don't want to waste my time if it can't. Also how common is 'uncommon'? 1 in 5, 1 in 10? Lastly, can it drop from non-empowered timelines?
It should be able to drop at exactly 50 corruption. 1 in 5 is probably about right. Probably, but it’s not at all worth it to farm it in non-empowered considering how long it would take to get to 50 corruption and then farming it at exactly 50 with worse rarity modifiers
If you want to farm, do it in empowered and keep pushing up corruption
And make sure to get some decent rarity mods stacked up before fighting orobyss, and try to fight them further from the center of the timeline

LP potential gets worse with the rune. I only use it with boots personally.

im working on one now Pali with main skills ("Javalin" - into battle standard mode {gives buffs to armour/damage in a large area that calls in "smite" which also heal every 0.8secs} then "Judgment" - which is also another heal / damage then ontop of that "holy aura" - which i can set in whichever way the party needs they need more resistence/attack speed/damage/health regen) hope that helps bud or gives you some ideas

for items that can have LP it currently goes from 0 to 115, the higher the level the hardest it is for the item to have any LP (or more than 1 LP respectively), I don't believe the exact formula is known though
Talking about Legendary Potential, For example high effective level for potential, like Omnis can't even drop 3-4 LP? or if it does it is like a Mirror drop from Path of Exile.
Omnis' effective level for LP is 100, and dev once tried to spawn 5000 Ravenous Voids (105 effective level), of which 40 1LP appeared.

Anything with LP can drop a 4LP. But the odds are astronomical in some cases (4 LP Argentus is like 1 in 10e30 or something like that.

Because it said attack with Upheaval from totems rather than you. Strictly speaking, totem will not benefit from nodes, but Upheaval does imo

Yeah, ward generation is usually handled from something other than just Exsan/Last Step cuz that's not necessarily the fastest thing around

for ward generation, there are passive effects which gives ward per a second, then there are effects that give ward on hit. if your plan is to stack passive ward, it'll fail
