When you summon your abom equip if you have one, so that your skellies respawn and u can max the 20 skeleton buff u might get it without the shield but its rng

Then apply dread shade, infernal shade, bone curse then swap to ur weapon if u use the same weapon as me as the buffs are dynamic but u dont lose the shade

then ur dstrike does stuff like that

There's also a node that makes it so that you're always at low life but caps your hp and ward to half your max hp.

keep in mind that you need to overcap phys res quite a lot due to aura of decay. just play around with it. You can actually replace most uniques with exalted items... only shattered chains, siphon and the boots are really "needed". the rest is w/e and can be exalted items. especially if you cant get 2+lp uber items

actually on a sidenote i think life should not exist on items. it is just a no-brainer choice for your defense/suffixes on items. ward, endurance, thorns, armor etc rolls on items might as well not exist if you have a choice

Only have 4 points in Aegisfall to prevent Vanguards from spawning.

You want to make sure that your Abom only eats x1 Mage, Golem and Wraith and then x17 skellies for maximum Skeletal Warrior Bonus. Skeletal Vanguards, T-rex or other minions dilute the pool and results in reduced damage.

After summoned, put on T-Rex Relic and put back the skill points.
Then swap zone so the Abom skill tree refreshes to your summoned Abom. (Skillpoints still snapshot on the Abom so need to swap zone to update his skill tree)

@thick whale maybe Tyrants Legion isn't necessary though. Haven't tested without it. The thing is that there's some RNG involved with summoning the Abom. You kinda want to stagger the summoning so it eats some skellies first, then starts eating the other garbage so the skelly respawn cycle starts. This allows you to eat 20 minions total. If you eat Golem, Mage and Wraith first, then all skellies they respawn too slow and the summoning is cut short before you hit 20 total minions eaten

@uncut crescent My guess is the summoning process works the same as last season. Meaning the summoning has a 20 unit limit and it's first one in, first one out.
So if you're for instance eat 25 minions, the first 5 it ate will get kicked out of the Abom recipe.
I already tested it and seems to work the same. I run Reap of the Damned on my Abom for more clear speed.
During one test it ate the Wraith first because I started the summoning clicking right on the Wraith.
I got a long chain of skelly respawns, probably eating 20+ skellies total.

When I went to try my Abom out it didn't have the Soul Cleave ability. Probably because it was consumed first and therefore kicked out first because my Abom ate to many monsters.

Did some testing with Dread Shade now to test Frenzied Phantom.
Works the same as last League (Bugged).
If you have 2/5 or more points into it it'll perma add Frenzy to any targets it's attached to or those in it's aura range.
If you're running a 22 skill point Dread Shade you can get all the good stuff and still get perma frenzy for your minion(s).
You lose out on Flesh Harvest though but don't think it really matters

@astral kettle Not sure. If you're Abom already is hitting something he won't stop hitting it to eat minions. Maybe that's what you're thinking about. But as soon as the target dies he starts eating them.
This allows you to for example use Skeletons on a tanky boss like Uber Abberoth to stack up Armor Shred for more dmg since he'll focus on killing the boss.

The life is a bigger issue.

I normally want 1k life and capped res for lv45 or around there if I want to go into mono early. So being 10 levels higher and less hp is an issue

Yeah that's fine. I think 200% is sort of the logical limit
