There were just way too many, unnecessary, inconvenient mechanics

Bloodborne on the other hand is an amazing game. Love it! But its also a game where combat has to be pretty aggressive

If you really wanna make sure you don't get cut you get gloves with an EN388 Class C or better rating. Obviously those aren't really suitable for cooking though but there's nothing that's both suitable for cooking and will save you from a cut bad enough to go through your nail

(coming from someone who's cut through their fingers a couple times)

It's gotten a lot easier to manage in recent years. From a guaranteed 5L during campaign to the tree spitting out 6Ls to fuses being crazy cheap every league. Spamming fusings on an item is basically a relic of the past now

Yeah there are some pretty major differences from what I've seen. Like production buildings having positive/negative effects to buildings around them and stuff. In 1800 you kinda just have all your residential buildings in one place and all your industry in another

I've played every season except this one and I skipped this one for a simple reason; nothing they have added since 0.8.5 has actually changed how you engage with the game. It has all just been "a new loot tile inside of an echo". This is a failure in the development in my opinion. You can't even like, meaningfully change how you play those loot tiles like you can in PoE (or even Hero Siege now).

Well... I will say I am not even sure how they handle all the input they even get so far. Like, the DoT survey we just got? For an issue that is seasons-long existing? That only mattered now because of that one omen variant that throws 2-3 DoT variants that ignore all your defenses?

I am rather more concerned about the rate of development and prioritization of concerns, as it were.

Forge Guard can literally sit inside of of any DoT in the game without dying. You can facetank 900+ stacks of poison/bleed/ignite/whatever at 1k+ corruption on it.
