I think the process to create this image was extremly cheap. It might not be as good as handmade from a professional, but that's true with most mass produced items.
I don't think creating images by hand is a field that can change how capitalism works.
I can appreciate ai art for what it is, wonder why it's trying to build it like that. For me personally it was worth the water and co2. Compared to a traditional artist you would need to pay for his school, food, etc., which would make the product better in quality, but atleast for me, cost inefficient.

You can't run game engines if your laptop just can't compatible with them.

You can't drawing in digital if you can't afford a big tablet.

You can't focus on your work if you don't have the own space.

You can't think game is a good thing if the environment just judge gaming is no sense.

Maybe these things are owned since childhood for many people, these invisible locks never exist in their families, but not everyone can get these conditions.

In short, more poorly you're, less chances you can escape from the abyssal. More rich you're, easier you can stay at the top.

Knowledge, time, both of them are more simple to get if you have money because you own more resources.

Dune the first book is a foundational scifi work in many ways, absolutely stellar. The majority of the remainder of the series was written by Frank Herbert's son and honestly goes rapidly downhill, can't really recommend unless you absolutely MUST know how the story "ends".

The movie is arguably one of the most faithful book-to-movie adaptations I've ever seen and extremely well done, 10/10 watch if you ask me

also from an artist's POV I guess the Dune movies would be 100% worth watching, Villeneuve has brought the Dune world to life in an amazing way

Very interesting. I learned the Hytale client is actually C#, not Java. But the server (which is Java) is designed to allow changing the client behavior so client mods are basically never needed.

Quite a bit different from Minecraft, where a lot of the popular mods are client mods.

This is a very cool approach to modding.

Steam reviews don't reflect an objective metric of how good a game is. It's how big a proportion of the people who get the game (the people who like what they see in ads and the store page) end up feeling like they got what they paid for.

This is why niche indie games often have super good reviews. Because nobody who wouldn't enjoy them buys them in the first place

Stoneshard is actually my most played game on steam (unless you put together all my last epoch clients playtime) and it "only" has 74% positive reviews, because people are either inconsiderate of the developers situation and complaining about slow updates or think the game is too hard/bs lul

So a game that doesn't have amazing reviews doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad game, but a game with amazing reviews does most likely mean it's a good game for its target demographic
